Powell Roofing installed my new roof several years ago. I have an issue a week ago and was able to get help quickly from Bradley. He showed up, identified the problem and repaired it on the spot. My roof was under warranty, and they stand behind their products! I would recommend using Powell Roofing if you are in the need for a new roof.

I've used Powell Roofing, LLC several times, including replacing the roofs on my residence and rental property several years ago. Most recently, they replaced the cap and chase for my chimney that had been leaking for several years. Powell's crew did a great job and at a fraction of the price quoted to me by a big name chimney sweep company. In my part of Mount Pleasant, it is very difficult to find capable, reliable contractors who will quote me a fair price and who I can trust to do good work. As long as James Powell is in business, I won't ever call any other roofer.

Powell Roofing did an awesome job on our roof. It's been a few years, and they not only did a great job, but have been very responsive to a few gutter adjustments we needed due to the way the gutters were. The owner gave us a fair price, the team installed the roof in a day (2 story roof), there was zero debris in the yard after installation, no nails - nothing. Just a wonderful new great looking roof! We so appreciate the great job they did!

A first class experience! Two years ago I met James Powell whose company is pretty much my neighborhood's roofer. Two days ago they finished my home's two day project, and I couldn't be more pleased. It began with James' total understanding of my needs and expectations. The on site crew was superb in workmanship and cleanup (cleanup is amazing as it is own project), and they are as transparent as they can be beating, banging, and scrapping. An on site visit by the project manager insured the requirements of the SC Safe Home were met, and assured me I was in good hands with the crew. As quickly as activity began on the first day, it ended near the end of the second day, silence. Then the cleanup began organized and efficient. The lead man on the crew and I had a chance meeting just before the crew departed, he told me I would have no worries, and I don't. The debris trailer was picked up the day after the work was completed. The office manager, who is an invaluable source of information, and I coordinated payment and warranty information and the project was over.
So this was a team effort, and James Powell has a great team!

James arrived at my home on time and got straight to work diagnosing an issue that stumped two other companies and had been an issue with my roof for years. As some of you know,a couple months back we had a huge microburst in our neighborhood and a couple other nearby neighborhoods as well. Strong winds and hail completely destroyed our roof and the vinyl siding out back and on one entire side as well. Just about the entire neighborhood was affected but everyone made it through ok. We had Powell roofing come out and provide an estimate for the damage and making a long story short we are completely satisfied with everything. They were here when they said they would be,did exactly what they said they would do and they cleaned up so well that you would never even know they were here. The siding color matches perfectly and the new roof color looks fantastic. It’s nice to deal with a company that is local,well respected and very knowledgeable. There were other shady companies trying to take advantage of a bad situation but thankfully we got the best there is. If you are in need of roofing,siding or windows I would highly recommend giving Powell Roofing a call,you won’t be disappointed.

After the upper facia area on the side of my house was damaged I had concerns about the roof being damaged too. Bradlee came out and inspected the area, reassured me that the roof is good, and he even fixed and replaced the shingles where they were damaged. Now it looks like nothing ever happened! I HIGHLY recommend Powell Roofing! They were great when I needed a new roof and years later they are still doing amazing work!

Called Powell roofing Wednesday morning. Even with the hurricane going on they assured me that they would get over to Mount Pleasant to address an issue. Well here it is Friday and no call no show. I understand the hurricane and I even mentioned that to them and they said it’s not a problem they would be out first thing Thursday morning. I’ve tried calling them several times and they just don’t answer.

It’s hard finding contractors that do great work, on time, and on budget. Powell nailed it. The roof looks amazing, and everything is bone dry in the attic, even through our last tropical storm. Their crew had attention to detail, and made sure the job was done right. The most impressive part to me was actually the clean up, because I was expecting to be picking up shingles and nails for weeks, but there was close to none. If you are looking for a roof replacement, I highly recommend Powell Roofing.

One of the most important things is cleaning up after the roof has been installed and these people will clean up their mess and get all the nails out of your yard so you don’t have to deal with it two and three weeks down the road. It really means a lot when somebody can clean up their mess.

The personnel at this company is fantastic. They did our siding and some other roofing issues. They are great to work with. We had Richard and Ethan for the siding . And Bradley checked some roofing issues. They are very professional. I highly recommend.

I got my new roof a few years back and never had an issue. I then got all my windows replaced with hurricane windows and not had any issues. Next on my list is siding.

just as I do. I shopped around and received some estimates on having a roof replaced and also some new fascia boards installed and soffit repairs. James offered the service of wrapping my fascia and soffit and I decided that would save a lot of painting down the road. I also read some really great reviews for Powell Roofing! First of all the roof shingle color I chose is beautiful with the brick, and the fascia and soffit repairs are even better than I expected, and for a very reasonable price with a great warranty! We had our roof replaced this past month. Excellent customer service. The roof looks amazing and the crew did a good job of cleaning after the job. We had 1 issue and Mr. Powell was quick to respond and resolve. This was important to me since previous roofers were difficult to reach once the job was complete.

Powell roofing did an absolute fantastic job. We had damage from a storm and fought with the insurance company and powell gave me a quick estimate and when they returned, they got the job done very quickly and efficiently! They let me keep the old sheet metal and even stacked it up neatly to the side for me. The laid down massive tarps to catch trash and went through many times with magnets to catch any nails. Very professional customer service and my roof looks AMAZING! To give you an idea, we went from a green metal roof to a burnt red seina shingle, on a brick house. They even replaced alot of the wood rot under the metal. Absolutely LOVE how it looks now! We could not be more pleased!

This post is long overdue but we have used powell twice now and both experiences have been wonderful. We had a wind storm damage our roof requiring full replacement in March 2024. Then in June a hail storm took out our new roof, a window, and lots of our siding.

Powell gets tops marks from me for many reasons. His prices are fair AND he can give you his price upfront. Many other roofers refused to give estimates until they knew what insurance was going to pay.
He stands by the work his crew performs. Any concerns we had along the way were addressed thoroughly and we now have a completed project that I am confident is done correctly. I’ve seen horror stories from other neighbors who went with other companies that have outstanding issues or half done jobs and I’m so thankful for Powell’s team doing the job throughly. They will treat your home like their own and get the job done!

During one of our last high wind events, I lost one shingle above the second story of my house. I called several companies, but they were all too busy to deal with one shingle. When I called Powell Roofing, they asked me to take a picture and send the information to them. Soon after, they called and said they would have someone come out and fix it. When I asked for the price they would charge, they said there would be no charge, that they wanted me to be a happy customer now and in the future. I am that happy customer and will call on them for all future repairs on my roof. I highly recommend them.

James came by and quickly identified the roof damage that was causing a leak. He was also able to determine that the roof damage was a result of some previous siding work we had done. We were able to communicate this info with the previous group to have them fix it.

We'd had an addition put on our house, and had that contractor replace our roof as part of the job. In less than a year, it was leaking, James Powell took time to find and show me places our roof was susceptable to leaking, and explained how he would address it. His price was reasonable, and during our selection process, he answered all my questions completely.

The installation crew was excellent! The process took more than a week because there were a couple of storms during our installation. They worked around the weather, making sure, before rains, that the job stopped at a point to ensure nothing would leak. They cleaned up the yard around the house every evening so there were no stray nails or metal scraps to find with our feet or tires. This is a REAL roofing company, not a bunch of guys with a truck and some hammers!

Powell Roofing installed a new roof for us about 3 years ago. They did a great job at an affordable price. We haven’t had any problems until recently when a tree fell on the back part of our house. Thank you for the “Paid In Full” invoice.
I wanted to thank you for sending Marco to handle the project of replacing the siding on our home. He paid close attention to all of the details and did the job correctly. He and the one gentleman who worked with him all week worked constantly from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day, with a short break for lunch, remaining on the premises at all times. There was no wasted time. They were here six days, which included a half-day on Saturday.
Marco was pleasant and took care of ordering the Royal Outside Corner Posts that were not included in the delivery from ABC. They were not installed on the front of the house, but by the time my husband noticed that, it would have taken too much work to install them since the new siding was already in place. Marco was able to install them on the back of the house. This is not a complaint. We are perfectly pleased with all the work that was accomplished. Just letting you know that perhaps all of the material ordered was not received.
Marco is an excellent representative for your company. If we ever needed further work on our roof or siding, we would definitely request his presence for the project. Thank you for sending him. I had an excellent experience with Powell Roofing. They did what they said they were gonna do. They were up front and direct. The crew was on time and courteous. The price was right. Communication was great. I had complete confidence in Powell Roofing right from the beginning.

After having a leak on the first floor of my two story homewith no leak on the floor above, Mr. Powell came out and examined my roof and the siding of my home and found areas on the roof that were missing shingles, and kick out flashing on the side of the house that had been installed incorrect and as a result pushed water down the side of the OSB.

Powell Roofing came out two weeks later to replace the water damaged OSB and the entire roof replaced, including replacing wood on the roof from leaks that I didn’t know were there!

The service that Powell Roofing provides is extraordinary and prompt and made getting my roof replaced super easy and stress free!
