Do not call if it involves a crawl space....
Called for a rooter and to for an outside hose valve. I said it's under the house when i called. He waited until he's in my driveway to say he can't go under the house because shoulder surgery. Now mind you, I'm waiting for movers that day to move 750mi away, and told him that. He put me in a really bad spot because he didn't want to, or legit couldn't, go under the house, but knew I'd call a different plumber so he tricked me.
I had to call another plumber while out of state and rush it as it was part of closing to get this fixed. Lockbox, pay online, schedule with the realtor.... just added a huge stress to a time in already stressed. The other laughed and knew exactly who he was, seems i wasn't the first one he did that to.
still had him rooter cause it needed done ASAP, even though i really wanted to just use someone else for both items. That was good value and he spent good time on it.

genuinely seemed like a nice guy and i don't know if he intentionally screwed me and i refuse to call him dishonest, just don't think he considered what it meant or would impact me. Either way, it did impact me and that's the reason for the low rating
I don't knock him for skill cause i didn't see enough to really know one way or the other
I used to work in the trades until i had my own shoulder surgery, 5 of them over 3+ years, so on a personal level it annoys me he used that excuse, whether legit or not, without being upfront.
