We hired Performance Roofing to replace our roof and our attic insulation. We had a leak in the roof that required immediate repair and the insulation needed to be replaced. Mike and his team worked diligently to replace the roof and did a great job. They completely removed the old insulation and placed in new insulation with better coverage. Mike takes ownership of the work his team does and pays attention to the details. We highly recommend Performance Roofing.

Mike changed the roofing for my home recently. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike. As part of the inspection, he did a thorough job looking at the attic and roof. He recommended the shingles to be used and gave accurate estimate of the time and cost. Once i was convinced and engaged Mike, he was very diligent with the execution. He and crew came fully prepared and even had a honey bucket they brought along. They did the work over 3 days doing a good job of changing the sheathing where needed, laying shingles and providing additional vents. Mike and his crew were also super friendly as well. Would highly recommend Performance roofing based on my experience.

Mike does magic. Clean work, good cost and keeps us the time line and words. I had totally positive working experience right from choosing the right roof material till the finishing touch. Mike explained me everything clear. He even went beyond to make sure the nails are not hitting the AC pipes as those pipes were too close to the roof in my house. He had done the roof for so many houses in my community and every one says they had a very positive working experience with him. Totally recommend.

We had the pleasure of working with Mike this past weekend for an emergency roof/chimney siding repair. Given the rain, there was a leak in the house. Performance Roofing provided quality beyond what I was expecting from a roofer.
We had issues with mold, and got multiple estimates from other roofers that all came in higher than what Performance Roofing quoted. To add to that, there were a lot of hidden costs in those other estimates.
When Performance roofing came out, they right away identified all of my mold problem, gave me an affordable quote that included ALL services needed to truly fix my mold problem, and even gave me advice on how to avoid problems in the future. They also fixed a few things I wasn't aware of, which saved me money down the road. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the honesty and thoroughness. I will rely on Performance Roofing from now on.

Great quote and great work. They were so great about clean up, answering questions and taking care of details. We are very picky and Mike was so caring and thoughtful about every question and every decision. They even installed a few extra vents and 6 roof anchors that we needed. We even had him reroof our shed! He even calls us every few months to check on the roof and see how we are doing!! Fantastic roofers!!! Highly recommend them!

Highly recommended! I had a roof leak on Mercer Island that needed immediate attention. Other businesses quoted 2 weeks lead time. Mike answered immediately, showed up within hours, took care of the problem, and charged less than business with 2 week wait. Performance roofing turned out to be an A-1 house painting business. Mike painted our entire house and did an excellent job in record time at a great price. I solicited several quotes after developing a full page of detailed specs for replacement of original 3/8" sheathing with 1/2" fir plywood and architectural shingles. Of the six companies contacted (some never responded), three were professional, responsive (i..e, understood and answered my questions and concerns), and competitive. I selected Mike at Performance Roofing because of the risks associated with the tear-off (e.g., the likelihood of change orders due to things such as rafter replacement - old house, so no engineered trusses - or other work) and the perception that it would be easier to work with an on-site owner. It proved a good choice: I had to arm-wrestle Mike to make him accept payment for a lot of additional work, and for the marginal cost of the plywood - which had doubled in price from the time of the bid to the re-roof. Mike and his crew are honest, hard-working, respectful and reliable, and you'll not regret giving them your business.

Mike and his crew installed a new asphalt shingles roof for us, as well as a few solar tubes and new gutters 2 years ago. They did a great job, were professional and cleaned up after themselves. 2 years later the roof looks great, no issues. I recommended them to my neighbor who is very happy with his new roof, too.

As part of the job, Mike and his crew did a beautiful job installing a big skylight in our kitchen and two Solatube light guides -- they completely transformed the kitchen and brought light into gloomy rooms on the north and west sides of our house.
