I have been extremely pleased with Russ Morton and Perfection Roofing & Siding. They recently replaced our 40 year old cedar siding with Nichiha fiber cement siding. It has been a great experience from start to finish. First Vlad came out to do the free estimate. He drove me around to three houses they had done in our area so I could see the quality of their work, which was impressive. I also got quotes from other contractors. The larger companies that advertise came in about 50% higher than Perfection, who only asked for a nominal deposit to get on their schedule. Russ was readily available to answer questions from my initial decision making through final completion. Fabio and the siding team did a great job and finished faster than expected. Fortunately the rain held off. Cortez was very helpful in deciding on the paint color. They used the top quality Duration paint by Sherwin Williams. His team did a great job and we are extremely pleased with how our house looks now.

Perfection Roofing And Siding has effectively rebuilt the exterior of our 30-year plus home, completing the project just over a week ago.
After a conversation with our next-door neighbor (who had had his siding replaced by Perfection Roofing And Siding seven years ago), I obtained three estimates for full siding replacement. We chose to go with Perfection, a decision we have not regretted. Their quote was very competitive, and we felt confident Russ would deliver for us. He explained the process satisfactorily and set the proper expectations for the way the project would unfold.
Thanks to the siding team led by Fabio, we witnessed the complete transformation of our house. Not only were they professional and courteous, they turned up to work on time and took care of our concerns. To our great relief, they did not damage any of our many in-ground plants around the house.
Caio (experienced and friendly) led the team that washed, caulked, otherwise prepared and painted the house. I can only say we greatly appreciate all these guys' skillful work under searing temperatures.
All in all, we're very pleased with Russ' Company that has been around since 1959. Russ was at our house from the contract phase and he showed up halfway through the project as promised. He also arranged for any outstanding issues to be remedied at project's end.

Russ and his team entirely rebuilt every square inch of the exterior of our house. Communication was excellent before and during the job. Russ and his team of professionals associated with this company have transformed my 1950s house to look more modern and up to date. My house had old aluminum siding, some rotten wood in various places under the siding, a very faded look and in need of new doors, window trims and painting. I highly recommend this company for repair, replacement or updating your new or old house.

This company was amazing and coordinated several groups of craftsmen to complete each task as needed to update my house from start to finish. First, a team came out to remove all the old siding and outdoor lights and do any repairs needed to the structure. They then installed new Nichiha fiber cement plank siding over the house and replaced the old doors with new doors. Next, the old mid-century windows on the house also received a special trim package to update with a more contemporary look. After all that, the painters came out and prepared everything and did a fantastic painting job and cleanup. The gutter guy comes out after that if you need new gutters to finish the project.

They were very professional and sought to give advice and help with all my questions and requests.

An out-of-state family member learned on Friday April 18th through the inspection process that a house he has an interest in buying has a siding problem. Knowing nothing about siding I called Russ first thing Monday morning (April 21st) requesting a ball park estimate to replace the siding with HardiPlank. I needed an immediate response as a decision had to be made on buying the house by close of business on April 21st. Russ took the time to look up the property, use some sort of software to determine the square footage of the siding, and provided a replacement estimate within 6 hours. The family member now has information to use for making a major purchase. Amazing! I very much appreciate that Russ took the time to work up the estimate for me so quickly as I'm still waiting to hear back from other companies. He told me he also does roofing and he'll be the first person I contact for any exterior housing problems.

Russ and his entire team did a great job repairing my chimney siding and installing a chimney cricket. While other companies took at least a week to even quote the job, Russ provided a quote immediately without hesitation. He was the best and most competitively priced and got the work scheduled and completed. Everyone was very professional and the result looks great.

We called Russ after noticing rot and holes in our chimney siding caused by water running down from the roof. He gave us a quick and reasonable estimate and we had his team replacing all of the chimney siding a week later. They are the most efficient team around! The whole thing was finished with amazing quality over the course of a few hours. They even added flashing to the roof to divert water and prevent the problem from ever happening again. I would recommend them to anyone!

My 1980s house hadn't been painted since the turn of the century. It still had the original LP siding on it. The siding color was tired and out of date. From a recommendation, I called the company. They quickly responded to my request for a quote.

Russ, the hands-on owner of the business, spent time with me describing the source and quality of the siding materials they use, why they used a particular brand of paint, and the long-term relationship they had with the associates that would be installing the siding and painting the house. Russ contacted me before and during the project to check in and answer any questions I had.

His siding team arrived first. The team leader was friendly and easy to communicate with. Within two days, out went the 40 year old LP siding, and in went the new. While the siding was off, it was amazing to see the trusses supporting the roof, and the condition of the attic insulation. That view ended quickly as they installed the house wrap which would help keep moisture out. When they were done, they picked up all material and placed it in the previously delivered dumpster.

The paint team was just as easy to work with. They power washed the house,
caulked the joints and the nail holes. They installed a new dryer exhaust vent, fireplace exhaust vent, and electric outlet cover that I had purchased separately. Initially, I had asked that those items not be painted, but once I saw them against the color of the siding, I decided they shouldn't be so visible, so I asked the team to paint them the same as the siding color. Within 10 minutes, the items were painted, and I was happy that they supported my change request. After all painting completed, they installed new lanterns and even reinstalled the ring doorbell.

During the final walk through, I couldn't find a single nail hole. I marveled at the depth and contrast of the colors I had selected. We discussed an issue regarding tacking up the TV cable running along the exterior of the house. It was resolved. As we walked around the house, I couldn't find anything that needed to be touched up.

All trash had been collected and disposed of. Everything was back in place.

The next day as I looked at the house from across the street, I was happy that I chose Russ and team to give the house the fresh and updated look it needed.

The siding quote from Perfection Roofing & Siding was very competitive, but the biggest selling point was responsiveness. Russ picks up the phone, and even when he misses a call, he returns it promptly. Getting quotes from other firms involved games of phone tag and long waits for post-visit quotes. Russ had a quote, albeit handwritten, on the spot.

He didn’t have fancy brochures, instead he preferred to showcase his work at nearby homes. If you need a brochure with paint ideas, you can pick one up at a Sherwin-Williams store for free.

When the HOA inquired about the look of Nichiha siding, Russ brought over a sample right away - a testament to his responsiveness. On the back of the sample was stamped its place of manufacture – Macon, GA. So, what you have is a small business installing locally-made siding.

The project kicked off on schedule and moved with great speed. Fabio’s crew made short work of removing the old LP siding and installing the new Nichiha products. Cortez’s team then carefully caulked each joint and applied Sherwin-Williams Duration paint. As painting wrapped up, Pablo arrived to measure the gutters which were installed the next-day. The whole process took about a week and the results look great!

It took me a while but I need to recommend this company. Fabio,Vlad and Caio were very professional and great to have them around. I needed the siding & part of the gutters replaced plus painting before Christmas and they delivered. We are very satisfied and are recommending them to family and friends

I highly, highly, highly recommend Russ and his company, Perfection Roofing & Siding. Russ is very passionate about his work, knows what he is talking about, and gave me a very fair price to do the job. I talked to several companies about this job (initially, we weren’t sure if we were going to go back with real cedar that was originally on our house or the Nichiha cedar shake) that Russ recommended. I had many questions, and he answered all of them!

His crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. My wife and I were initially nervous about how the shake siding would look compared to the real cedar we had before. But as you can see in the pictures, it turned out wonderfully, even better than we expected. Russ immediately followed up to ensure I was satisfied after the job was done.

I was looking to get my old siding replaced, I saw my neighbor replaced and had it painted. I looked at it and I was impressed with the work quality, so I called Russ. I got a quote, as well as two other quotes. Russ worked me to make sure we had the scope button down.
One of my first questions was, will he be sub-contracting the job? the answer was no, so I asked for the same people as my neighbor's project.
Siding job was led by Fabio and his team, great job, very accommodating, clean work, and as long as weather was good, they were there. Then came the paint job, same qualities there as well.
Everyone was very patient with my questions, asked for some changes here and there, no problem. As long as I was happy, so were they. They walked around the house few times with me to my satisfactory.
There was no additional nickel and dime because of little changes here and there I asked for. Russ was always; no worries we will take care of it!
One more thing, I used the same material (nichiha) as my neighbor, for my perspective it is a much better material and takes paint better.

Chimney Repair - I had done extensive work on getting opinions and quotes on an urgent repair for my LP siding chimney. Besides rotting siding we suffered much woodpecker damage. Russ quickly assessed the situation and was honest and forthcoming with very reasonable pricing and solutions. I typically overstudy the needs for these projects. I wish I would have called Russ first. For anyone with a similar need, or siding or roofing I highly endorse this company as I have been through the vetting process with many others. His is responsive and his crew operates with integrity and honesty. I don't often write reviews but found my experience to warrant this effort. My experience with Perfection Roofing & Siding was excellent! similar to what most people here have stated. I am on the HOA Board of one of the largest neighborhoods in Johns Creek, Georgia and do not normally review nor recommend vendors, but felt I should make an exception for Perfection.

I needed the siding on 3 sides of my home replaced, repair of stucco & moisture-damaged wood, and whole-house exterior painting. Russ is the company owner that quoted the job - he offered to show me other homes they had worked on. I had a couple of other companies also give me quotes, but Russ's was the most competitive.
Vlad (project manager) was the person I interfaced with the most and who did a great job addressing all my questions & concerns. Fabio & his team did a thorough job with the siding & wood repairs, Cortes & his team did a thorough job with the stucco & painting. The entire job took only about 7 days to complete which included removal of old siding, replacing damaged backer board, putting house wrap, installation of new siding, drip-edges, replacing rotten wood, pressure-washing & painting. Perfection started almost on the exact date they stated, worked on the job non-stop except for a day it rained, and completed almost exactly when they had stated.

Perfection did a great job replacing the siding on my home, even coming out at 10 o'clock at night in torrential rain when hurricane Helene came through to fix an issue with a downspout that was causing water to enter my basement.

I was generally pleased with the speed of the work, but I felt it was rushed, which was exactly what I wanted to avoid. This rush likely resulted in the contractor losing out on additional earnings. For instance, he could have suggested replacing the outdated fiberboard sheathing and insulation instead of simply applying a weather seal, which would have increased his earnings from me.

Additionally, when I returned from a trip with COVID, I had to immediately remove my LED lighting, which was inconvenient. Despite our established relationship, the contractor didn't fully capitalize on the opportunity to enhance the project.

There were also some coordination issues. For example, I had to intervene to stop them from caulking and power washing simultaneously, which could have compromised the quality of the work. Moreover, we had an agreement to replace our portico with vinyl, but this was not completed because the materials were inadequate for the job, resulting in a $10,000 discount but leaving us without a portico.

It's now January 2024, and I've been asked to wait until March for a follow-up, which is frustrating because the remaining tasks are minor and something I could manage myself, but that's not what I paid for.

Despite these setbacks, it's important to acknowledge that the workers did perform well under the circumstances. The issues seem more reflective of industry-wide problems ( HomeRenoVisionDIY How to Find A Good Contractor Part 3 ) rather than the fault of the workers themselves. If you can get past the contractor's dynamic personality and ensure clear communication about your needs, there's potential for satisfactory results.

We called PRS to replace all the siding around our chimney. The quoting process was quick, painless, and a great value.

There was minimal lead time to start the work and the quality of work was amazing. We will use them again when it’s time to redo the entire home!

From start to finish, the company did an excellent job. They were always in reach, finished in a timely manner and cleaned up everything. I'm writing this review 5 years after the completion of the siding replacement and painting, and the Nichiha siding and paint are still in excellent condition! When they replaced the siding they also made sure that everything was structurally sound and free of any termite damage.They also took care of replacing the windows of the house, which still work well. Also, they
shortened the chimney which the builder of the house had constructed double as long as it needed to be according to code.

Russ’s company Perfection Roofing and Siding just completed outstanding siding work on my house. As you can read in other reviews, Russ is big on showing you his past work to illustrate what good work looks like and why. If you’re like me, you don’t come pre-loaded with knowledge of what siding problems look like and how best practices can avoid them, so this was useful. I also really appreciated how available Russ made himself—no waiting around for callbacks to address questions.

Russ uses the same siding installation crew and separate painting crew for his jobs. Fabio is the installation foreman and Cortes is the painting foreman. These guys are really impressive craftsmen. They work with great care and impressive efficiency. Fabio was very interested in going the extra mile to ensure that the electrician who’s coming in to do work next is properly teed up for his work. He’s very patient and gets the best out of his crew. Cortes made sure everything was put back together again right (parts of deck and fence that had to be disassembled for installation and painting, deck awning, outdoor lighting). I’m very happy with everything and I believe I got an exceptional value vs other companies.

I had my siding replaced by Perfection Roofing & Siding. I worked with the owner Russ to discuss what I was looking for and he showed me a few houses that he had previously done work for so I can see the quality of workmanship before I signed the contract. I had originally hired another company that took my deposit and never placed a roof on my home. I got this company from Angi. The owner, Russell called within an hour of Angi sending out my information. His manager Vlad came to evaluate my home the same day. He showed me the materials that would be used. He discussed with me the new codes for roofing and how their business practice exceeded what was required by code. He had the materials delivered prior to the day that the roof was to be replaced. He came by to make sure that all of the supplies were delivered and the correct supplies were delivered. Vlad made sure that my rose bush and grape vines had additional protection so as not to be damaged. His crew arrived on time, worked hard and were polite. I have a larger home and the entire roof was replaced in one day. It looks amazing. I highly recommend this company. They did not take any payment until the job was done.

Our two-story, colonial 1980's house needed a complete overhaul on our siding, and PRS was one of three quotes I requested. Russ (the owner) drove me around to all their previous jobs, and I inspected siding jobs from 2 weeks to over 12 years old, and was pleasantly surprised to see how consistent the quality was among the half dozen houses we looked at. He assured me that my house would get the same careful attention, his price was very reasonable and competitive, and of course the reviews were solid. So I gave him the job.

Personally, the best part of my entire experience was Russ' crew. Fabio, Ciao and Ciao's brother (hate that I cannot remember his name) are among the best individuals I have ever allowed to work on my property. They were all very personable and professional. Every request I made was honored. The work was fast and done very well. Any flaw (all minor) I pointed out was immediately rectified with amazing attitudes. Ciao would proactively circle the house to check for anything that needed touching up. Fabio went above and beyond the scope of the agreed upon work to make sure I was happy with the results. And the overall crew was just very courteous and friendly.

Their materials are top notch - fiber cement siding, PVC drip edge, high quality, heavy duty trim around the corners, windows and doors, higher end soffit ventilation, and high end duration paint to name a few. Not to mention that my house is now up to code and looks brand new, complete peace of mind. For the high end materials, professional labor and the extra things they do at no additional charge, I am not sure if Russ' price can be beat.

I reached out to siding companies in my area end Dec/early Jan. Perfection jumped to my attention due to their ratings. I had 6 companies come to my house to bid on the project. I selected Russ and Perfection based on his approach, value, the quality of product he shared from previous jobs and the comfort I felt ahead of time. Russ kept in informed leading up to the project, during and followed up afterwards. I am satisfied and my neighbors even complimented the new look of our house.

When we were thinking about to replace the whole house singing, I got PRS reference from my neighbor, I saw the pretty siding job. Perfection Roofing and Siding replaced both the roof and the siding on my home, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Usually we say "quality, speed, and price. Pick two." Well, Perfection somehow succeeds at providing their clients with all three. Perfection did the job faster, at a higher quality, and for less money than my neighbor who got their siding replaced at the same time by a different company. Perfection finished the job in 3.5 days straight, whereas the company replacing my neighbor's siding started 1 week before Perfection did, and finished 1 week after Russ finished. From start to finish, this was such a good experience. We bought a fixer upper house that needed a roof. We got three bids and picked Perfection. I hired Perfection Roofing and Siding to replace my disintegrating chimney siding. They were able to come out and give a quick estimate and scheduled to come out within a few weeks. The work they did was great. They replaced my entire chimney siding with hardie plank, caulked, & painted to match my existing siding. They also replaced window trim that was going bad and a few other siding boards (not on the chimney) for no extra cost. I would use them again for any siding work that I need.

Russ and his team replaced and updated our roof to a ridge vent system. We also challenged them to replace our decaying LP siding, the type that was recalled. The workmanship is outstanding. Russ and his whole crew (Fabio, Cortes, Sidney and Eleonor) were just such a neat and very efficient group. From the beginning I struggled getting an estimate with the details and the care I got from Russ. Our house had never had its siding done since it was built in the 90s so because of its damage, we couldn't paint until we got the siding done. The estimates I was getting from other companies were quite absurd. And some of them will charge x for the siding but would not do the deck, or paint it. Or they would remove this but not repair that. They could only focus on how much they wanted to charge for the siding job.
Russ looked at all the problems and areas we needed help with. He took the time to show houses his team had worked around my neighborhood and explained where the quality of his work was and even educated me on what to look for in the competition and didn't harass me. He even alerted me and my husband about how good our current gutter system was and that anybody trying to replace it was after our money. He left us check the competition and the closest estimate was 10k higher. During the days his crew worked at our house, the work was done neatly and perfectly just like a clock. There were extra things that had to be repaired and removed and even some rotten wood from the deck that got replaced and just the paint and material was charged. Our previous experience with contractors were not good. They had littered and didn't care much about the dust, noise (loud music) and mess they left behind and the quality (lack of) was revealed after some time but not with Russ and his team. We touched bases with Fabio and his crew on a daily bases as my husband and I worked from home. They worked very fast and diligently. Then it came the painters and also no exception. I actually changed the color initially picked as after looking at some trimming done in the house I ended up not liking the color at all. Sidney and Cortes were flexible with me, we worked out a compromise and we could not be happier. The professionalism and detailed oriented work done in our house just made this experience so pleasant. Worth every penny. For years we have struggled to find reliable contractors with this level of quality. Not only my husband and I could tell the work was done well, we are getting many compliments from our neighbors.
