We had a significant sewer backup in our home and on contacting Paul Davis Restoration received an immediate response and were scheduled for mitigation within 24 hours. We had Paul Davis Restoration as our assigned contractor to our property claim referred by our insurance following water damage we had a couple of months ago. The company, Robert Booher and his team did an amazing job putting drywall up, prime and painting, and replacing our flooring! The best part is they got this done before the holidays so that we can enjoy our home in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thanks so much!

Paul Davis Restoration was assigned to my property claim as a preferred vendor by my insurance carrier following the devastating aftermath of Hurricaine Helena which tore through our mountain community a few days ago. The high winds on Friday had blown the vinyl siding on one side of my home loose which could have easily developed into a much larger problem. My neighbors described the motion during the storm as a large wave movement which looked as though the entire section was close to being ripped away. Brian came out quickly and upon arrival, the situation was promptly analyzed and resolved by the close of business Monday afternoon. I so appreciate Paul Davis Restoration, Brian, and the crew members who worked in the rain to take care of my situation. Thank you. I highly recommend and will use them again.

Update! The morons didn't put anchors in the shower curtain rods while renovating our bathroom. Instead they screwed the mounts directly into the ceiling's dry wall - which then proceeded to fall on me mid-shower this holiday season. Merry Christmas! You can't make this stuff up. Run! This company has some scam going. My father said every time he tried to call Brian to come out and finish the job, that his excuse was always that he was "in court." I get it. Lots of people must be suing you. You should be completely embarrassed. I will be notifying USAA of the terrible job they've done. Their business practices are completely unethical. Hopefully, they won't be getting quite as many jobs as they used to. This is certainly no way to treat a veteran either. Shame on you!

I had an unfortunate water issue at my home over the weekend that required professionals. Derek and Phillip came to the rescue and were onsite in less than an hour. Their professionalism immediately gave me confidence that I had made the right call. They walked me through the process and what to expect in regards to the following days expectations and gave me a real sense of peace during a trying and stressful ordeal. Would recommend anyone in need of similar services give them a call!

Our insurance company hired this company out to get an estimate on some damage done to our home. Paul Davis never sent us a bill, they just called my husband and gave us a dollar amount we owe them for the report. We still do not know where they got this dollar amount from and it’s higher than what our insurance is telling us to pay. We asked for more information (a bill with an explanation for the dollar amount and an address to send the check to), again, they never responded to us. We even reached out to our insurance company in case the correspondence was going to them and they also had no information beyond a dollar amount (different than what Paul Davis is saying we owe.) Paul Davis just sent us a certified letter saying if we don’t pay, they will file a lawsuit. They still haven’t explained how they calculated the dollar amount they’re requesting. I will absolutely not be giving this company my business nor would I recommend anyone engaging with them.

Our home owners chose this company to conduct mitigation in our home from catastrophic water damage caused by a dishwasher leak. No care was taken of our possessions which were dumped into open boxes and left to be filled with dust and debris. Crews (never the same crew twice) were traveling five hours a day to reach the jobsite leaving them three hours a day to work and leaving us waiting on them hours and extending the mitigation by days while our home remained water logged. The lead manager of this outfit was rude, combative, verbally abusive, and misogynistic. He barked at me like I was his secretary and yelled at me on the phone. I have never been treated with such contempt as I was by him. His workers were driven like slaves and did not/could not exercise industry safety or carpentry standards in their work. Repair to their mitigation efforts have proven to be costly as subcontractors have had to repair their repairs. Do not let this company near to your home. OSHA needs to take a long hard look at this outfit.

Joey came out and was very professional and detailed. My insurance company sent him out to evaluate what was going on. Answer was not what i wanted to hear BUT..What stood out to me was his kindness. Even in a stressful situation he made me smile. I can't say enough about Joey. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to work with Paul Davis Restoration and definitely Joey!
Thank you Joey. You were a blessing to me today!

My house caught fire on 12/1/19. I was 9 months into a difficult pregnancy. The insurance went through very smooth & they referred us to Paul Davis. The contractor from Paul Davis assured us they were going to get us back in our home as quick as possible considering our circumstances with the baby coming! We waited & waited with no work being completed! By the end of January (this being 2 months since the fire) half a days work had been done. The siding had been taken off & the inside was exposed to the elements! We had to go with another contractor who now also has to fix the damage caused from the elements being exposed. We were fortunate to get most of our money back but some was kept for bogus charges! I do not write reviews but felt this was necessary to keep anyone from having the difficulty & hardships with this company we have faced! They had 2 full months & some beautiful weather & only worked on the house for 1 day! That was 2 months our home was setting & we should have been living back in the home with our new bundle of joy easily. Run folks, find another contractor that’s my advice!

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! If I could have I would not have even given 1 star. They forged a document which was not AT ALL what I had signed or agreed upon. They lie, cheat, and steal. And there business habits are very unethical. They also placed a lien against my property for work that i had not even agreed on them doing for me AND BEFORE they had even billed me for the work or given me the option if I were going to pay them or not for the work they had stated they had done. I believe this was out of pure spite and vengeance because of the fact that after I had realized what was really going on, that I just did not allow them to continuing doing the work needed. Also after I took the lockbox off the door to my home which contained the key to my home And only after asking several times for them to not be working there and catching them still continuing to be there on numerous occasions, the general contractor Then broke into my home. Very, VERY BAD NEWS! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!

Paul Davis was recommended to us by our insurance company. We had severe water damage to the ceilings on our main level due to a water overflow in a bathroom on the upper level. Paul Davis sent workers immediately to evaluate the damage. They removed sections of the damaged ceiling and brought in 6 heavy-duty commercial fans and 2 large dehumidifiers and left them for several days to completely dry the area. The workers they sent were courteous and professional. Our insurance company advised us that Paul Davis would not be able to repair and paint the ceilings, so another contractor was used to complete the repairs. However, based on our experience with Paul Davis on the water-drying portion of the repair, we would highly recommend them.

My home was left partially painted and multiple shades of colors used. Painting started while porch still wet from water hosing. Windows left open for months with solid oak casings ruined. Replaced windows don't fit, air popes in around with very expensive wallpaper ruined from dampness from windows left open Porch post replaced with nothing to hold them up I have spent thousands redoing the messes they left. Workers hired at times from local convenient stores known because it's a family owned store. Rugs returned with tornado broken glass still wrapped inside. hand woven expensive rugs when cleaned were faded and unusable with matching foyer runner never found. Guttering has leaked since installed ruining new porch and posts. I literally could write books. My neighbors who also hired them would be glad to tell their own horror stories. Some things were never found.

Service questions

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
