Paul Davis Restoration of Idaho - Idaho Falls Office

We had a small flood in a basement bathroom this past winter. After a less than satisfactory experience with another company that performed the mitigation, we became concerned enough after waiting for 2 months & no repair estimate that we contacted Paul Davis Restoration for an estimate (they’re also the only restoration company in Idaho Falls that’s recommended by our insurance company). They had an estimate to us within a couple of weeks. Once our insurance company approved it, the work was complete within a month (can’t recall exactly how long, but it was quick)! Additionally, our entire basement looked better when they were done than it did before the flood! Can’t recommend them highly enough!

As of the end of Water Mitigation:

Had a flood on July 2. They were out on the third, taking readings and setting up fans and dehumidifiers. Checked saturation levels every few days, to be able to remove the noise as quickly as possible. Took the least invasive/destructive route to make sure everything was dry to prevent mold. Will defintely use them again if needed! Quick, professional, prompt.

We are about 4 days into our restoration. The crew has been great to work with. They are polite and have been very informative throughout the process. They reach out to us everyday and keep us updated on the process. I would highly recommend them

They quickly responded to our call and started the cleanup and mitigation process that morning. We were kept informed of the process daily and their employees were great to work with. Paul Davis has worked seamlessly with our insurance company and has made a bad situation bearable.

When we had a pipe burst in our kitchen, we were told by our flooring contractor to call Paul Davis immediately. Within 2 hours, we had a full restoration crew at our house setting up fans and dehumidifiers. They were able to mitigate the damage as best as could be hoped for, and then used some of the best contractors in town to restore our house. We needed new drawers, cabinet mdf boxes, extensive floor work, extensive drywall and painting, and some carpet work.

Everyone was amazing to work with, but I especially wanted to call our our project managers.

In the mitigation phase, Paul was a workhorse. Every day, including the weekend, Paul was at our house, taking humidity levels, moving fans and dehumidifiers, and optimizing the drying sequence. Often working until 7pm or later. He even rigged up custom fan exhausts from plastic into our subframe, and taped it off so our cats couldn't get in there. His dedication did not go un-noticed.

In the restoration phase, Justin coordinated the efforts, and was not afraid to jump in and get his hands dirty, helping to carry furniture and appliances in and our. He dealt with all the contractors, and more importantly, the insurance folks. We had to do hardly anything with insurance other than signing off on the work. Justin's caring attitude made him feel more like a concerned friend than a contracted project manager.

I pointed out the project managers specifically, but every single tech that came to our house treated us with friendliness and respect, and made us feel that they were looking for the best for us, and not just putting in hours on a job. Thank you, all.

This is a situation that I hope you never find yourself in. I won't say it's been fun, but we are incredibly thankful to Paul Davis for taking care of the process for us, and restoring our kitchen and living areas to their former beauty and functionality.

Nathan at Paul Davis was our project manager on our commercial remodel project. He was always very good to work with and easy to get ahold of when needed. The project went smoothly and any minor issues we did have were taken care of quickly. Everyone that came to work on our project was very respectful of our need to continue operating our business during the remodel and they kept the work area clean.

We had a leak in our basement from a flooded window well and Paul Davis came quickly to help us. They were very helpful and were very effective in salvaging our basement to minimize damages. We were so grateful for their service.

I would highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration. We had a flood upstairs that went into our basement. They showed up same day and were able to get fans and other equipment on the correct areas. Paul Davis Restoration was the first name that came to mind after I woke up to foot high water in my basement bathroom at 3 am. Thanks to my 3 yr old who created a flooded basement window that became a flooded bathroom and bedroom, we called bright and early. By early afternoon, Paul Davis had cleaned out the wet carpet padding, moulding and drywall and fans and dehumidifier were set up and drying us out. The things I appreciated most were: the great communication with Nathan, our project manager, the kind and respectful workers who came into my home and that our project was taken care of in a prompt and efficient way. Nathan was always prompt to respond to my texts and made sure everything was set up the way we needed it. He always asked how I felt things were going and really cared about us as the customer. I would absolutely call them again. Overall, I felt well taken care of.

The cleanup of our flooded basement/recording studio was done by Paul Davis of Idaho Falls. They came in with all their drying equipment and the technical electronic gear to measure the moisture levels in the walls and floors and they did a wonderful job! I couldn’t have asked for better workers as they were very conscientious and polite with attention to the detail of their work. I was especially impressed with once they were done at the end of each day, they always came and talked with me about the progress and the next step they were to take. This is the sign of a very professionally run business. They are now getting ready to do the rebuild and I have no doubt that they’ll impress me with that work as well. Had water coming in basement windows and soaking through carpet from the last thaw this winter. Brittney was quick to get us help on a Sunday and her response team was right in line with all the necessary equipment to help us clean up and dry out our basement.

We had a flood at our house two weeks ago. This was from melting snow that lead into our window through the basement. Paul Davis was quick and efficient with the work that they did. Paul davis did such an amazing job on my kitchen and living room flooring. I would always recommend and choose Paul davis without a doubt. Great people and super friendly.

Employees where friendly and polite. But I felt rushed when it came to the work. They found one problem in the upstairs bathroom and even though I told them I think it is also coming from the shower head wall they did not test or remove that portion.Even though they agreed with me. Sure enough it was leaking still and they had to come out again and because they hurried it cost me an extra 300.00 for the plumber to come back out. If they had been more thorough I believe they could have taken care of it the same time as other tub/shower problem. I then asked for additional work outside of the problem and was then forgotten about. I'm giving 3 stars because they have done a great job with the work they have done just disappointed with the details.

I had an unexpected leak from an upstairs bathroom to a bedroom below. Caden and Connor came out within 30 minutes of my call even when it was after hours. They were back the next day to do the clean up and made sure everything was clean and dry the removed the wet damaged sheetrock so the plumber could easily determine the cause of the leak. Thank you for your quick response and thorough clean up.

While I’m not entirely dissatisfied with the inspection of our home, I am infuriated by the actions of the inspector. A claim on our insurance was made “on my behalf”. I was made aware he’d be calling my insurance. That was extent of my knowledge of the situation and yet my insurance company tells me it was told to them he had my permission to make the claim. I feel this is a very poor and unethical business practice.

They were awesome. Came as soon as I called, got the mess cleaned up, worked very well with the insurance company . They were just great to deal with. I would refer them to friends

In June 2024 we had a major wind and rain storm that did a ton of damage through our neighborhood and community. My insurance company assigned Paul Davis Restoration to act as the remediation contractor for structure damages. My home and a large outbuilding experienced wind damage. The outbuilding had its roof (30x60’) completely ripped off the structure.

As soon as they were assigned to the case, Paul Davis Restoration was right on top of it. They reached out and called me to get the process rolling to remediate the damages. The agent assigned to my case was Mike Davis, I can’t praise him enough, he was prompt, diligent, and professional through the whole process. He went above and beyond what I would have expected from an insurance assigned contractor.

Mike worked on my behalf to help keep my insurance claim moving along, while my insurance provider repeatedly dragged their feet on fulfilling my claim. Mike touched base with me on a regular basis to verify that progress was being made, and coordinated both with my local insurance agent, and the corporate side to keep the process moving. While the situation created by my insurance company turned out to be a real headache, Mike really helped to minimize the stress and frustration on our part, by doing much of the leg work and communication back and forth with insurance. Whenever he got updates on information, he would promptly inform us what the situation was, and what needed to be done to move forward.

I really can’t think of any additional way that Mike could have made our situation any easier; he was absolutely fantastic to work with!

I found that Paul Davis Restoration as a company also had a very fair billing structure. I’ve also heard some additional anecdotal review of their work from some other locals, all were positive. I will gladly recommend Paul Davis to family friends and clients in the future!

Recently I experienced a water leak and mold damage that extended from my kitchen into my living room. Paul Davis Restoration immediately sent an experienced mitigation team to prevent further damage. I was impressed with the skill and knowledge of the team. They handled my problem quickly and efficiently, explaining in detail each step of the process. I am very satisfied with their handling of my problem and highly recommend them.

Nathan and his team did a great job of staying on top of the contractors to get the reconstruction work done timely. He did so well in communicating where things were at and when people were coming to our home.

I had a water emergency in my basement. A water pipe broke, and I had water flooding the carpet. Mike, and Teddy did a fantastic job getting out the water, and the wet carpet pad. They were very conscientious about setting the fans, and checking them day by day. Mike used a moisture meter to make sure the walls were dry before the fans were removed. When extra help was required, Garret and Tate came to the aid. Paul Davis company is great to work with. I would recommend them for restoration and clean up work. I can’t say enough good about this company.
