Pappas Contracting

I needed emergency main sewer line replacement this past weekend. They were referred to me by Cheshire Drain Service as the initial call was after hours Friday night. The first guy that came out identified that I had roots in my lines out to the street. Mike came out the next morning, which was Saturday, and gave me an estimate in person and gave me a couple of scenarios of how it was going to go. I agreed to have him proceed and he arranged his crew to start Monday morning. All things considered, it went about as smoothly as possible and got my water and sewer up and running the same day. I was completely satisfied with the work and his fantastic response time.

A tree had fallen during the last snow (March 2023). NH had got close to 3 feet of snow with high winds. A 70+ foot pine fell and crushed my roof as well as other damage. Pappas Construction remove all damaged items and rebuilt the Roof, Deck, and screen room. All the workers were very professional, polite and they completed the job on time. Great work guys

I would definitely recommend Pappas Construction to do your concrete work. These projects take time to get situated. Permits with the the village, approval from my association were painful, but the final product has my neighbors stopping by wanting to take a closer look. I coordinated this job in IL all the way from TX. Larry took excellent care of my home. Neat, clean and professional. The two people (Michael & Ashley) working the site were amazing. Such good people. No slackers on that crew. Love. Love. Love.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. No passion/care for their work. Will up charge you for just about everything throughout the construction process. The CM (Mike) is hardly ever on site and overall inattentive/incompetent When it comes to client relationship management and keeping a build on schedule. Also his employees are sketchy/underqualified!!!

Mike is always there to help however he can. I refer them to many of my clients. He has a great team working for him and does quality work in a timely fashion.

First, the “men” that work for this company are loud and rowdy. They continuously swore, while my child could hear it. They did a job and left my yard in shambles for a week and two weekends. (Broken pipes all over, snack trash outside, fences left open etc) IN A YARD A CHILD PLAYS IN. Second, the are inconsiderate. We let them know that we have an indoor cat and asked them to be mindful. Today I found my cat outside, doors wide open. No one was around, they were all smoking in the drive way. Which leads me to cigarette butts all over. All these men do is smoke. We are a non smoking family. We have a one year old that doesn’t know better. She picks up anything on the ground… NOT KNOWING. they don’t respect the property. Very frustrating.

Mike Pappas was able to schedule quickly and get the work done right the first time while being reasonable price wise. His crew members were friendly and courteous and worked hard. I would highly recommend Pappas Contracting for your construction needs.

The guys at Pappas contracting did a total re-model of my home.
It was a very extensive job ranging from steel structural beams to finish carpentry. The job was handled very professionally and the crew became part of the family (the job lasted more than 6 months).
We are thrilled with the results and would (and do) recommend Mike and his crew for any type of construction project.

Really horrible experience with this contractor. Final bill came in more than 50% over the initial $4k estimate. Even after we had specified we would not want any work done to exceed a pre-specified cap amount. These guys are either inept at estimates or at doing the actual work. We asked the bill be adjusted to reflect the initial agreement and were told they would put a lien on our house if we didn't pay what they demanded. For pretty average work, we were dramatically overcharged. There are too many honest, hard working contractors out there to take your chances on this one. I'd advise look elsewhere.
