We were present when Duane inspected the new home we bought. He was punctual and friendly. My son was present who understands all of those things more than I do. He explained everything to hime and felt the house was in good repair. We were pleased.

Duane was very thorough and we were pleased with his service. He did a great job explaining the report and issued it in a very timely basis. We would definitely use him again.

Mike recently performed our home inspection. He was early and had already started the inspection outside the home. Not only was Mike super friendly, but also knowledgeable, methodical, and efficient. Mike explained what he was inspecting and why in each area of the home. He provided a comprehensive, detailed electronic report the same day with a summary and breakdown of each area and a revised report once the radon testing returned. It was helpful to have items broken down by category so we could focus on safety issues first. A nice bonus is the warranty provided for using their service. We are very pleased with the professionalism, quality, and value of this inspection service. Duane Palmer was incredibly responsive to our needs as out-of-state buyers. He was thorough and accurate, and took time to explain to us his most significant observations and what our best next steps would be verbally after he finished his inspection, as well as on his report. Unlike other inspectors we've worked with on previous inspections, also conducted a Septic Walkover and Radon test. After inspection, Palmer and Williams issued us a short-term home warranty, which provides us with additional peace of mind. I strongly recommend going with Palmer and Williams when you buy in the Roanoke-Franklin County area.

We recently used Duane Palmer from Palmer and Williams on a new construction custom home a contractor built for us.
While you may think there would be no reason to inspect new construction, you may get surprised!
The report was comprehensive, detailed, and was a huge asset to us to ensure no corners were cut.
Numerous items were found. We forwarded the report to the builder and County inspector which enabled prompt resolution!
I would absolutely use them again.

Had Duane do an inspection on a new home purchase he was recommended by the realtor. The first rain we had a roof leak and when the insurance company came out the roof was tore up from hail damage so we had to pay a roofer ro come out and fix the roof. I tried to file a claim on Palmers insurance which was erie insurance and the claims adjuster their said he wasn't even insured to be doing inspections. I spoke to palmer and I was told he doesn't go into attics or up on roofs. Not for sure what good are they then. Don't use get someone else

Mr. Williams made a very detailed and exhaustive inspection of our future house which included a radon test. He found relevant safety details that should be corrected now and in the future. He is very professional and responsive to any questions you may have. Payment is easy and can be made online with credit/debit card if you choose. After listening to Mike’s extensive knowledge on radon testing and research in the area we wanted to be sure our family was in the best environment possible.
