Well, there's no two ways around it. This home inspector is a bona fide 'House Whisperer.' We have been the fortunate recipients of his invaluable hunches multiple times now. Very happy to have him in our corner. Tim seems to be someone with the uncanny ability to sense when something "just doesn't look right." He has multiple decades of experience and is obviously very skilled, but it's more than that. That sort of next-level knowing, along with the willingness to go the extra mile to investigate it, is just pure instinct. You either have it or you don't.
It's frustrating to have to walk away from a home purchase due to inspection findings. But I'll take frustration over the issues he's uncovered for us any day. Tim and his protégé Ryan have been really great to work with and we certainly recommend their super-high caliber services to anyone in our situation.
