Hired Onpoint to do 2 jobs.

First job was a bathroom replacement in a house we were preparing to sale. Long story short, the bathroom had to be completely redone 4.5 year later. The new owners of the house told me that they had had problems all during the 4.5 years they owned the house. Also, they commented on how person replacing the shower this time was surprised how badly the job was actually done.

Second job, also 5 years ago, was a painting job. Biggest issue I had during this job was communication. I would find the painter in the wrong parts of the house doing jobs that weren't contracted or wanted. I would have to deal directly with the employee because the owner would generally only come once a day and never be there again. They went past the deadline which caused problems with other contractors. Ultimately they left before all the work was complete and I paid more than the estimate.

Overall, this was probably the hardest contractor I have ever had to deal with and wouldn't suggest utilizing them. If you do decide to use them, I would suggest documenting everything and adding a clause into the agreement for a financial penalty if they go beyond a certain amount of time or if they leave the job incomplete. Keep in mind, unless the agreement has changed since my work 5 years ago, you are paying weekly for the work done. You are not paying at percentages of completion.

This company is so amazing! Amazing work with extreme attention to detail. They remodeled my entire bathroom and it looks even more amazing than I had hoped. They literally built a shower to my exact specifications. I absolutely will call them first for any work I need done.

This contractor was hired by my son (who isn't handy AT ALL and is at the mercy of a contractor) to make any repairs needed from an inside wall water leak and then completely remodel the bathroom. Light fixture in bathroom was not installed properly (they propped it on the mirror). Subsequently, a home inspection revealed that there was a need for extension repair work in the crawlspace from the previous leak. OnPoint didn't even tell the homeowner about the need for more work. The homeowner had made it clear they wanted it fixed correctly. His excuse is that he only quoted what they could afford (??? when is that HIS call??) He should have alerted the home owner to ANY issues, even if they couldn't fix at that time. He never did that. They assumed everything was good....wrong. He refuses to remedy to any degree. Pitiful....
