Bill has done a lot of work for us and we have been very happy. No way these poor reviews are from real costumers.

Hired him to do repair work and install a fence for us. Asked for half the money up front. Took him over a month to do about 1 days worth of work. Then the excuses started as to why he couldn't come by and finish. Said he would be by and stay 15 minutes and have to leave. Then stopped coming at all but the excuses continued. Never finished even half the work. Kept saying the fence had been ordered but after 4 months we decided to just agree paid for services rendered. No where near $4000.00 worth of work but was so tired of dealing with this guy. Totally my fault for not reading all these reviews before hiring him. Shame on me and him.

Multiple issues, never fixed after repeated promises.
Stopped taking my calls. Had to have another person come back behind him and Rip off the front half of my roof and fix it due to over spacing of shingles. Roofer said the back side was perfect and didn't understand why he would do it wrong since he obviously knew how to do it right. Never fixed the broken wood beneath the leak when he had the roof off. When I mentioned this he nailed a board from the inside, through the new roof and caused a new leak in the same spot that caused the issue to begin with. Apologized and promised to fix it, stopped answering. Tried to get me to sign over one of my vehicles for future work. Beware.

Bill Sellers of Olde Towne Handyman is a crook. He will deny this and tell you all the online reviews are lies but the reviews don't lie. He took my money and ran. He has done this to people all over the area. Took my money and never came back. Left me with a partially completed project and the work they did do was shotty. He lies about his qualifications, his personal life (tries to sell his self as a good Christian) and his abilities. Do your homework. Look him up online in area court records. Numerous judgements against him for ripping people off. Read all of the online reviews. You will see a trend. Don't get suckered like we did.

Edit- Bill is trying to dispute and discredit my reviews on the internet as a competitor. This is not true. I am a hard-working homeowner who's money he stole.

The review below by Jack pickelbush is definitely false I will provide a background and credit check any customer that wants one this guy has went around slamming different contractors multiple times obviously the name Jack pickelbush is fake and he's a spineless coward because he can't even use his real name the only thing I had to say to this is for him to get a life obviously if it was true you would be able to post this using his real name and the fact that it isn't true he just doesn't want anybody to file defamation of character and slander on him.

Paid him to complete our brick patio. he finished 70% of the job and then dropped off the face of the earth.

Sad part is that what he did do looks great and we would have been very happy customers had he actually completed the patio, filled in the sand as agreed, and cleaned up the mess.

He came across so nice too and laid it on thick that his wife was pregnant, then his friend died, and then that he was getting backed up on this other huge job "but was totally going to come back and finish the job", and then radio silence. Buyer beware...feeling a bit scammed.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
