Contracted Nor'East Roofing to strip and re-shingle a 1700 sq. ft. raised ranch.

Dave did the initial site walkthrough followed by an explanation of how they operate and what materials they use. He didn't follow up with a "let's get a contract signed today" sales pitch but rather left things as a no-pressure decision that should make sense for both parties, which I appreciated.

After getting quotes from multiple roofing contractors I decided to move forward with Nor'East. They weren't the cheapest but they also weren't far from the lowest quote that had lower quality materials. To highlight a selling point for me, part of the standard scope of work Nor'East offers is ice & water barrier on the entire roof. Relatively low cost added protection against leaks, good for both parties.

At this point I started working with Carly on scheduling and planning details. She was always responsive with follow up emails/phone conversations. Overall, expectations were well communicated and met through the whole process. Thanks Carly!

The job started on the scheduled date and the crew showed up on time. They got the job completed in a single day, approx. 8 am - 4 pm. Workmanship was good and clean up was thorough including picking shingle packaging out of trees on a cold windy day.

Its hard to know who to trust. A roof replacement is a huge expense which makes the decision that much more stressful. So I offer my experience in the hope that it will help someone faced with the similar decision on who to contract with.

I got several quotes in my journey to decide on a company. I was surprised that 3 of 4 quotes were pretty close in price, but when I compared them, I could see the differences in the estimate by Nor 'East. But that's not why I chose them. I chose them because they were different from every other company in their follow up. In the week after meeting with Dave, I got a call from Carly asking if there were any questions she could answer. Then the following week she checked in again, not pushing, but in a way that made me feel like my business mattered. That follow up was the difference. It got none of that from the others.

From the communication before the sale, the calls and information about dumpster and materials being delivered, the calls during the project to make sure I knew what was happening, and the calls when the job was completed to discuss any concerns and the final invoice was outstanding.

I have a new roof, its beautiful. They did everything they said they would and in the time frame promised. Materials and workmanship first rate.

I recommend this team without reservation.

The guys came out and did my roof the other day, and after the debacle I went through with my last roofer it was such a pleasure to have a professional, an amazing bunch of guys come out and do my roof. I was a very fair price, they did it and a little more than half a day, and my roof pops now. Then they came back the next day cleaned up the whole yard and driveway, I couldn't find one nail in the driveway which shocked me. That's how thorough these guys are. Dave’s team did an excellent job resurfacing our roof as we are prepping for the winter season. They were extremely professional and courteous. There were a few areas of concern we didn’t even know about that they were able to also repair. I recently had a roof replaced. Nor’East Roofing was competitively priced. The process between signing the contract and executing the job was seamless and quick. I was kept up to date by Carly who also sent pictures of damage that needed repair. Very impressed with this company and highly recommend. Love my new roof!!

I'm writing this review because Trey, from Nor' Easter really went above and beyond for us this weekend. We're under contract with Nor'Easter for a new roof to be installed in a couple weeks but during this past weekend's rainstorm we had a large leak develop that needed to be stopped right away. I called Trey first thing Saturday morning and he was over my house to stop the leak within the hour. I'm very thankful he was able to help us when he did, especially for such an emergency situation.
