Mike was very nice however the people that came in and did the work left my home trashed. A pile of used plastic and garbage in my kitchen, paint in my sink from rinsing their rollers in my kitchen sink, filled my kitchen garbage can with their garbage, ruined my new rug with paint all over it, paint spots on kitchen floor, drywall dust piles in my kitchen and living room. Not to mention the subpar paint job they did. Nobody will contact my landlord about fixing issues.

I contacted this company to give me a quote on installing a kitchen floor. When I told them "no" that we had found an item we like better at Lowe's and they were going to install it the salesman Michael became very rude saying he didn't know I was one of "those people" who would go with a multimillion dollar company instead of local. Michael was very arrogant. If this is how they treat potential customers think how they would treat you if something went wrong or was not done to your satisfaction if you hired them. Never would I consider this company....for anything!

Called looking for a quote on carpet installation. Told them I paid home Depot to come to my house and measure. Explained to them it was too expensive to buy from home Depot. They did not seem interested in my business. Told them the exact square foot, explained I could fax or email a complete layout with seems and everything, but they refused to give me even a ball park figure. Would not recommend

No Limits Construction came out to my property to address the damage to my pool fence after heavy winds. They are extremely professional and were able to obtain proper coverage from my Insurance Company to cover the damage. They also inspected my entire property and addressed
additional damage the wind had caused to my home. The job they performed was excellent. I would recommend them with any contruction concerns you may have.

Wonderful experience. Had 11 sets of custom ordered 2” vinyl blinds installed by Mike and Samantha. Quite a dynamic duo. Took detailed measurements, ordered the blinds, we picked them up from Menards, they installed them. They were timely, detail oriented and professional. They sealed off doorways, protected the carpet and furniture, and were done in a timely manner. Communication was excellent each time we contacted them. No regrets.

People PLEASE read the bad reviews. They are all true. Stay away from this business and ALWAYS get 3 estimates. This place is the ONLY one in northwest Indiana that doesn't give free estimates. They are neither cheap on labor, or professional in any aspect. Most of the 5 star reviews appear to be fake. Judge for yourself on those. You've been warned.

His first response to my roof was my leaf guards which was pulled off. I was told he believed it was my pitch on roof which eventually would involve insurance. My roof leaked same spot after the job that was done and he still believed it was the pitch. Another company came out to look and found roof leak in 5 min and two days later was torn off patched, fixed drywall, and painted. I'm being very nice right now. I could not stand this response and attitude as well.

Mike was great with communication on the project. The job was done within one day and looks great. Thank you for your repairs on the drywall and baseboards.

I will NEVER hire them again. I actually ended up firing them. Mike and Christina are horrible with communication and very unprofessional. They would spend a lot of time at there car when on the job. Which there was no reason to be wasting time. We payed extra to have them completely do each bathroom. We did forget to get that $300 back so that’s on us but even if we brought it up to them I’m sure they wouldn’t be honorable and give that back to us. They damaged some of my property including a Camero due to paint splatter. He tried to blame it on someone else and didn’t even tell us that he damaged any of our property to begin with. They are only licensed to do specific work. The city inspector did come out to inspect their work and the whole time Mike appeared to be panicking slightly. They also didn’t want to cut the holes out of the surrounding in my bath tub even though we had the city tell us that it was their responsibility since they installed the tub. That was after he told us that the city told him that he apparently couldn’t. He tried to say the city changes their mind all the time. Even if we had a letter from the city saying that he could do it he refused to cut the holes. So before they even left our house I figured out what we owed them for the work they did do. They refunded us the remainder of the money and then we went our separate ways. Once again I will NEVER EVER even consider hiring them again. From now on I will be going with a union contractor.

Called Mike on Saturday to clean out my gutters and assess the roof. He quoted me a reasonable price and came out that next Monday. When he arrived he assessed the work needing to be done along with price and got straight to work. He was friendly and did a great job!

No Limits has done several jobs for us, from replacing windows, to installing a garage door. Their associates are cheerful, friendly, fast, honest, helpful, and excellent at what they do, no matter what job you need done. The replacement of windows, including small stained glass panes, was done, quickly, and beautifully, by Michael. I simply cannot say enough about the excellent work and craftsmanship he, and the others, demonstrated in their work. Thank you No Limits!

They were happy to take our deposit and then never showed up to do the construction. Have been calling Mike for weeks no answer no call back. Not a very good business model. Looks like they scam money and never do work. Stay away from this company. Yesterday was the listed date of completion. Never started not sure what the actual quality would have been. No morals or work ethic. Will update on the process of reclaiming our deposit and status if law suit is necessary.

My family has hired No Limits many times. In the most recent experiences, we’ve become VERY disappointed. This past weekend they did the roof on the house I live in. My mom is the landlord, so she’s the one who set everything up. She expressed her sincere concern about nails being left in the yard afterwards, because my daughter has special needs. Mike, the owner, assured her that everything would be cleaned up. He even mentioned going through with a magnetic stick to pick up what they can’t see. Now, I understand that not every single nail would be found, because they’re human and that’s okay! However, upon doing our own inspection (because we understood there could be a few missed) we found at least TWENTY bundled nails and TWO razor blades in just our small front yard! When Mike was told about the materials found, he raised his voice and blamed it on there being so many leaves in the yard. I’m pretty sure leaves don’t stop magnetic flow. I’m pretty sure, that had they used that magnetic stick, they would have found the nails we found with just our eyes.
Last thing, is that there was supposed to be a vent/fan installed for the bathroom the same day. It never got done. The project manager stopped by later that night to apologize. He claims to have had no knowledge of the bathroom fan/vent needing done. He said he would come by the next morning to take a look and I’m assuming make a plan. He never showed up. We waited all day long, the only day my family has together, and we waited on someone who couldn’t call, text, or even drive by (when he lives one block away)to let us know he “wasn’t feeling well”. He may not have had my direct phone number, but they knew my mom would be able to reach me.
Finally, on the third day, they show up unannounced to finish the vent. I was getting myself and my daughter ready for an appointment. Her father was getting ready for work. The finished product isn’t at all what we expected, either.
Only giving two stars because you were good once, so you have potential. And the roof looks good. But, raising your voice at a paying customer who is informing you of mistakes YOUR crew made, UNACCEPTABLE. Not making sure communication is absolutely clear and completed, unprofessional.
We used to brag about No Limits.. sadly, not anymore.
I sincerely hope the company can take criticism and turn it around to improve things. I see a lot of reviews quite similar to mine, unfortunately.

No Limits put a new roof on my house in 2016. I had some shingles come off in storm last night and contacted Mike first thing this morning and he came out the same day to repair and replace shingles.

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER! I had a horrible experience with this company. Mike told me that all his workers and his company were a more modern and professional style construction company. He said that his workers would keep their work area picked up at the end of every day and there would be a predominantly dust free environment. Since I have Lupus this was important to me. They were supposed to close off the work area wit plastic sheeting and he told me my floors would be protected. They did no such thing. They cut materials in my house instead if outside and dust was everywhere. They got paint on my hardwood floors and set heavy tools with sharp edged directly on the floor leaving all kinds of marks. My house was destroyed and I had to hire a professional to clean it. But that is just the beginning. The day before work was supposed to start Samantha had texted me the names of who would be coming and what time they would be there. It was supposed to be Mike and Charles. They never showed. So I called Samantha and asked where they were because I don't have all day to wait. I called mike but he never answered or got back to me. So Samantha shows up with Adam who is a 3rd party contractor. Adam has no idea what he is doing or what needs to be done, Samantha says she will take him back to the office and give him a work order she just wanted to stop by my house first to grab the house key. I did not want to be in my house while I have no bathroom and people are tearing out walls and tubs and breathing in all that stuff so I had planned on being away for the demo part. Well Adam really has no clue and the only person from no limits who ever came by was Doug the project manager who is supposed to over see everything. He failed miserably. They filled in a recess they were not supposed to and did it horribly. They had no clue on plumbing used the cheapest materials possible and had a water leak underneath the sheet rock they put up. They also worked ass backwards and tiled tiled the floor before they did anything else. It was Horrible. Tiles cut to short and sticking up and they were walking on in before they could set so they just pulled right up. Then they painted and they did not prime ,prep,or remove any old paint. And it had show through spots everywhere. Also he didnt even take everything off the walls before he painted. I still had my old lighting bracket on. Then they hung wainscoating which they were not supposed to do. It was going to be added om until Mike wanted $1000 to put up 3 pieces and hand a prehung door. So we were going to do it ourselves. They were trying to sneek things in and charge me later. They had used their fingers to put mud on and they had big black screws sticking out. When I came home and seen this nonsense I fired them right then and there. Mike tried to give me the runaround about giving me my money back until I told him I would take him to court. He damaged my existing property, ruined the materials I purchased myself, did a piss poor job and never once came to my house to see the damage for himself or apologized in any way. I cant prove it but he has some shady things going on at the Portage Menards. He has flyers there and wants you to buy all your stuff from there. When I had a item i wanted to put in his bin they asked for his last name. I didnt know it so I called him to ask. He would not give it then asked to speak with the guy I was talking to. When I got back on the phone he said that guy must be new there and not know him because that is private information. Also his office on Old Ridge road in Hobart has a No Limits sign that goes up and down constantly which I think is weird. And for a construction company to have a small house that looks like it needs to be condemned for a office seems weird to me as well. Mike Millies Rachael Souza, Samantha Sounders are all in it together and they are all shady.

Terrible experience. We were warned by friends that the owner Mike is a scam artist, and steals money from his customers. We should have listened!! Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. No one answers the phone. They change their “policies” on a case by case basis. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are extremely shady.

On 11/28/17 I picked up No Limits' flier at Menards and called Mike regarding adding railing to my porch. We set an appointment for 12/5/17. On 12/4/17 Samantha of No Limits texted me to confirm. On 12/5/17 Mike and Chuck, whom he introduced as his employee, came to my home, looked at the porch, materials on hand, photos and plan. Mike had Chuck write up an agreement for the job and Mike took a $20 deposit. On 1/9/18 Chuck and his nephew arrived to do the contracted job. Chuck had to return home to get tools while his nephew started the job. When he returned, he had to borrow my power tools. Chuck sat in the car most of the time while his nephew worked. On 1/22/18 I contacted Mike through his Facebook page to complain about the quality of the job. He denied that No Limits did the job but eventually admitted that he sent Chuck. Mike compelled Chuck to call me. On 2/22/18 Chuck came to fix his work. He told me it was beyond his ability and he would have to send out Fernando. On 3/1/18 Fernando arrived to assess the job and give me a list of the materials that needed replaced. I emailed Mike and asked if he would like to purchase the materials or reimburse me for them. When he did not respond I left a voicemail on 3/6/18. Mike did not respond. I purchased the parts and Fernando finished the job on 3/20/18. On that day, I emailed Mike, thanked him and attached the invoice for the replacement material. On 4/2/18 I texted Mike and asked if he wanted me to resend my emails of 3/1 and 3/20. He has not responded as of 5/2/18. I would like to be reimbursed $389.11.
