We are in the process of purchasing a home near Leavenworth in Chelan county, and Don went above and beyond to provide the BEST home inspection we could ever ask for. He was incredibly thorough, and made notes of every little aspect of the house that is not up to spec and/or dangerous; some things about the house we never would have thought of! We were on-site during the inspection and Don went out of his way to explain all the issues he was finding, about why there were an issue and the level of risk they posed to our safety/the longevity of the house.

Don provided us with an exceedingly thorough report that we are using to plan improvements to the property to make sure the house is safe moving forward. He's also been tremendously kind & professional, and answered any questions we had very promptly. I cannot recommend Don enough; he really knows his stuff!

Don's middle name could be "thorough". One could be put off by the length and detail of the report, but he was there 100% after delivery of the report to answer any questions. He even offered to swing by and inspect the work that the sellers did which we demanded. Top-rate inspector and good guy. I felt like he was truly there to assist us.

NCW Home Inspections was very thorough and knowledgeable about codes and regional norms in the building and real estate industry. The report on line was detailed with plenty of photographs. This was very helpful since we are relocated from the Southeast and could not be present for the inspection. Don Hester emailed a full PDF in short order after completing the inspection. The thermography technology is an additional service I had used on other purchases that can be very helpful in finding problems that may be hidden. The follow up to answer questions and discuss the inspection was very helpful as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Don Hester and NCW Home Inspections.

Don Hester handled the inspection for the condo I wished to purchase. He had to handle it for me remotely, since I am not in the area. Therefore he coordinated with my son who is. Both my son and I (and the real estate agent) were highly impressed by the care he took and the suggestions he made. The thoroughness of the inspection was superb. The details he included, and the logic explaining what he described, was of great help to me in getting back to the seller for remediation, and, especially since I wasn't there to look in more detail myself, greatly relieved my apprehension about any problems that there might have been which would have come back to haunt me after the sale.
