This is a terrible company. I got ripped off. Job not completed because handyman Mike ran out of time as per him! They say 3 hours to do XYZ and he did a 1/4 of job. Terribly. Messy.
You try calling company and they avoid calls and don’t call back. 3 days now of calling and texting And no one calls back to rectify the situation don’t ever ever use them warning!!!!!!!

Derek was right on time and looked at multiple tasks. He was organized and knew what he was doing. A short trip to Home Depot and I had a new ramp to my shed, fixed a broken draw and replaced lightbulbs for an outside motion light on the roofline. Will definitely be using these guys again!

Robert and Montez were very easy to work with, we talked though the different options and came up with a fix.

Easy to set up a job and very quick also to show up on site. Hans is an excellent handyman and very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to....he is very thorough and prepared to repair or replace anything you need inside and outside the house.

I can only speak by my experience with them, I needed someone to replace a liner on my above ground pool, to get the job they told me everything that I need to hear. They quote me that will be done in 3hrs one technician plus someone to help him out, first of all their technician do not have any tools!! All they need you must provide for them!! Ives was the only good prospect about this company he actually help me out on his first visit to tell me all the materials that he would needed to complete the job so we have to schedule. The second time they show up a totally different guy who had no idea how to do the job!! So we had to reschedule again ( I had to move all my schedule to be there ) the third time Ives showed up and begin to do the job but I still had to make several trips to Home Depot do it to no having all the tools!! Then after 3hrs he was in the middle of the job he told me that we are gonna have to reschedule again because he run out of time!! After some back and forth with the company I agreed to pay for two extra hours so he a least left everything almost done, after he left I still had another hour by myself to finish the job. I thought this company was very unprofessional to make sound that they will have everything under control but as a costumer is the one that have pretty much to do everything for them.

Stay away. The guy couldn't do the job. He was going to install a new grill and fryer. The person they sent told me I had to call the gas company and tell them to turn off the gas. When I heard that, I knew the guy didn't know anything. We called the gas company together and they said they didn't have that service and the repairman could turn it off at the valve and then turn it back on. He said he couldn't do that. But they charged my card $600. I told them about it and they said they would fix it but they didn't do anything. I've been calling for a week and they haven't answered. I'm going to file a complaint.Serhan Guler

Please stare clear of this company. It's technicians are personable guys that seem to do good work but the sales people, particularly Ben Sullivan, are deceptive and will mislead you. I hired them to assemble a playset and was told by Ben it would take two guys for a full 8 hour day; I agreed. At the end of the "full day" my playset was half assembled and the technicians simply left because their time was up.

I emailed the company and in response they sent me a copy of the call transcript with Ben in which he told me I would have to pay for a full day for each guy - which breaks down to 1 guy = 8 hours, so 2 guys would be 16 hours.

So, I'm guessing, since that transcript was sent to me without further context or comment, the company is saying, that what Ben meant was that it would take two days to complete the job and it's my fault for misinterpreting what he was implying. What a joke of a company.

I was a little unsure at first that the fellow they sent (which was a different one than what was originally coming), actually knew what he was doing. The job turned out fine and the guy Maurice was very nice. I gave him a tip but the overall bill was a bit expensive.

Tiney from Nail It Handyman service came to my home to reconfigure my dryer vent. He did an excellent job in opening the wall and installing an elbow to the original connection which was never done correctly from the builder. In addition he did taping and spackling on a wall and ceiling that was cut open for electrical work.
Tiney was very neat and extremely proficient in his work. I would definitely use him again.

Derrick did nice job installing an air conditioner, knew what he was doing with insulation. Took look at second project fixing a broken folding attic staircase and presented plan on replacing. Pleased with service. Nice man talked a bit of basketball.

What a nightmare experience...they quoted us for a job, exceed that amount by morr than 3 times (charge hourly) then charged me debit card with no invoice...they also left my job in worst position where i have to pay more to put it apart....bc they charge by hr all the workers with exception of one were milking it and were unskilled...stay away

Stay away. The guy they sent couldn't do the job and left. But they charged my card $600. I told them about this and they said they would fix it but they didn't do anything. I've been calling for a week and they don't answer. I'm going to file a complaint.

Jeffrey did a great job with all of the items I had sceduled to perform. He is very easy to work with and was creative to solve a few issues that were not anticipated.

STAY AWAY!! Total scam.. did half the job, took my money and never answered any calls to customer service (does it even exist?), never replied to emails or messages left. I was forced to pay another contractor to finish. The 5 star ratings here are most likely false if you look at them. They gave me the same lines when I first called (must book tomorrow to get the discount, have to pay via Zelle to get discount, etc).. you’ll be sorry if you use this company. You’ve been warned

Rip off. Run away. I wish I could give them a 0. I asked for replacement of floor boards and to strength the wall with posts. They quoted me 5 hours or may be an 8 hour day after I sent videos and pictures. I insisted I needed 2 people. Okay, $999 each plus materials. Okay, $3100. I can handle that. Sure, I will take the cash discount. The workers came out next day. One ready to work, the other one in a polo shirt and jeans who walked around the entire time. The working worker says maybe 2 days. I say okay. 7 days and over $14500.00 later, I say that’s enough (after ongoing requests for information, progress, etc), today is the last day to their office, finish today. Their office manager says but we have you on the schedule for tomorrow too. No, you are bleeding me dry with no end in sight. They actually were building a whole new deck, from bottom up. The problem is that they didn’t give me a proper estimate or update me on why they were building a whole new deck. And they kept making promises that they were going to finish in the next day or in the next two days or the next day or the next day and all those were lies. I needed to make sure the deck was sturdy and replace the boards that were rotten on top with post to make the wall sturdy. Instead, they took down the entire thing and kept charging and charging and charging me. Now I have a unfinished “new” partial deck. Scammers! And they left all the old wood and trash everywhere. I’m going to report them to the BBB. How horrible.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! IT’S A SCAM!!! DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PRICE! BETTER PAY A BIT MORE THAN USING THESE CLOWN THESE BUNCH OF THIEVES! I called them to have my pool installed. Boy do I regret it. 2 people came and they saw the pool on the pallet and said we don’t know how to install this, and then they said we need more people who know. When I asked what they do, they said we handle everything from fixtures hanging pictures fixing doors. I was shocked. I was called by their office manager a lady who told me that they will have to go somewhere else finish a job and then come back 4 of them at no additional charge. 1 hour goes by all 4 of them show up told me they will start. They had no clue what they were doing. The liner of my pool is wrinkled all over, my feet can touch the metal on the bottom which is so dangerous and not safe, the filter was not installed fully cause the guy said he doesn’t know how to and left the box with untouched parts. STAY AWA FROM THIS COMPANY! I had a guy check it and was told the liner needs to be replaced cause is damaged. I am pissed off with these thieves.

Handyman service was as advertised. Robert and coworker were prompt, skilled and courteous. I appreciateded their help and will look forward to doing business with them again.

Robert showed up and began working right away! He completed the hanging of the awning in record time. He was friendly and very polite. I would recommend Robert for all to request him as I will myself.

The guys knew exactly what needed to be done and did so the make my above ground operational thank you money well spent

OMG!!!! What am amazing job! I literally had a page long punch list of repairs. Charles went above and beyond to get it all done. I will be using this company again. Very impressive.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ive used this vendor in the past and had no problems. 4 days, nearly $4000 later (to paint two rooms and a hallway) and this is what my home looks like. Ive attempted calling customer service several times to resolve and am still waiting for a return call. Avoid this vendor at all costs!!!

This company is giving major scam vibes. I booked a project with them (reassembly of some fitness equipment) and felt unsettled from the moment I scheduled my appointment. After I requested a quote online, they sent several automated texts and voicemails using the classic "call us for a very special discount TODAY ONLY" type of thing. I ended up giving them a call several days later, and thought it was odd that no one answered the phones, despite them being persistent about calling them back.

Finally, a guy named Dominick called me back and spoke to me about my project. He was friendly, but started giving red flags right away. He told me that their company charges a flat fee based on time, regardless of what the project is, and the only options were either 3, 5, or 8 hours of work. He immediately quoted me at the 3-hour price, without bothering to even look at the extent of my project. I quickly knew this was a slimy sales tactic to get customers to agree to the lower rate, and then once their worker gets there and ends up spending longer than 3 hours, they will up-charge you on site. I pushed back on this right away and told him I knew this would take longer than 3 hours. He literally admitted to not even looking at photos of the equipment I needed assembled, and then conveniently changed his quote to the 5-hour rate instead.

Since 5 hours seemed more reasonable for my project, I went ahead and proceeded with booking. He told me that, of course, there was a "special discount" if I paid via cash or check—but they still needed my credit card info at the time of booking (???) in order to schedule the appointment. He assured me that if I paid by cash or check after the appointment, the credit card charge would be deleted. I thought this was odd, but decided to proceed.

Shortly after booking, I had a weird feeling in my gut and started digging deeper into the Google reviews for this company. When I started seeing people saying their credit card was still charged even after they paid cash, or the company charged their credit card and then ghosted them—I knew I didn't want to proceed with this company. Luckily, I had not signed the electronic agreement yet. The email containing the contract clearing stated to "reply to this email with any questions or concerns," which I did immediately. I very politely let them know that I would no longer be proceeding with the project at this time, and asked for confirmation that the charge on my credit card would be removed.

You can probably guess what happened next—nothing. Absolutely ghosted by the company. I texted "Dominick" twice at the number he had previously communicated from, and no response. I sent two follow-up emails asking them to confirm the cancellation of my appointment and confirm that the credit card charge would disappear, and NOTHING. I still have not heard a single thing in response from this company. Fortunately, the charge on my card seems to have been removed, so it's clear they've gotten my emails and are just choosing to ignore them. I'm glad that I didn't actually sign the electronic agreement, otherwise I'm sure they would have taken the money and run.

I've seen this company reply to other reviews and dispute what customers are saying, so I wouldn't be surprised if they reply to this with similar BS. If they reply to this claiming that they tried to contact me, replied to my texts/emails, or responded to my messages in any way—it is 100% false. As soon as they realized I wasn't moving forward with the project (even though I told them I may be open to rescheduling in the future)—they decided I was no longer worthy of any communication.

Moral of the story: if you value professionalism and communication from your contractors, stay far away from this "company." Total scam.

PLEASE READ!!! Don’t fall for the same scam we did. We contacted Nail it Handyman to build a play set we bought for our kids. The play set is very large and the manufacturers notice says it can take an average of 2 days with 2-3 guys. We sent all the information over to Nail It and Ben, their salesperson promised 2 guys 8 hours and guaranteed it would be done. We were a bit skeptical and Ben was very pushy, he kept pitching the “if you schedule for tomorrow we will discount the job $300 per technician” costing $1300 and a further discount if paid by check. They “require” you to provide a credit card to even book the job but “will not charge until the job is done”. WRONG. We were completely deceived. The next day 2 guys show up to our house in the pouring rain. We still take them around back to show them the job. Their technician said it would be impossible to build in the rain and he’s gonna tell the office he can’t complete the job and to reschedule. We were fine with it UNTIL, Laura their horrible “operations manager” told us, even tho THEY acknowledged they cancelled, we still had to “pay”. I told Laura, no work was done; we weren’t provided a service and your guys cancelled the job due to the rain, after much back and fourth and serious frustration, she said “too bad I’m following policies and you are going to pay whether you like it or not”. As quickly as she could, she took the payment in FULL. I immediately contacted my credit card company to let them know I did not authorize this charge. The credit card company reported that the charge was valid due to a signed contract.. what??? I didn’t even know THERE WAS ONE. They FORGED my name on a contract that I never signed and stole my money. The credit card company is refusing to refund it all due to this “contract” which I have proof I never signed. This company is a nightmare. They scammed thousands of people and I’m not the only person they forged their signature on a fake contract. Ben certainly NEVER told us about any “contracts”. This is exactly how they scam you, the second they get your card information, they charge you for the job and whether you are provided services or not, just because “they showed up” you have to pay and if your like us and was never told about a contract, they add your “name” to a docusign to ensure they get the money. I’m still disputing this payment and have been since MAY! I’ve been demanding a “copy” of this “signed contract” and will be taking it immediately to the police. There frauds and professional scammers. Save yourself the time, money and headaches and don’t use them. Don’t just take it from me, look at BBB, Yelp and all the other websites that show how horrible this company truly is.

I needed my shower to be recalled and some mold removed. He did what looks like a beautiful job. I’ll know for sure tomorrow when I see if it’s no longer leaking.

He also caulked the bathroom floor where it hits the floor. I didn’t even ask for that and it looks great! It was a little pricey but seems so far that the quality of the work was worth it.

David did a great job! I am tremendously pleased with his work. He installed all of the upper level shutters that needed to be replaced. I will most definitely consider Nail-It Handyman for future projects.

Scam artists. They provide a phone quote that wont even come close to getting the job complete. They show up the frirst day and say it will run over a little. Then you leave you with a 1/2 completed job and your only option to pay over double the cost they quoted you. Sidewalk is already deteriorating from the rain bc they didnt put any dirt under it and I will end up paying more to get it corrected. I really wish I had read more reviews and looked at BBB before calling them. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD, THEY WILL CHARGE WHATEVER THEY WANT AND YOUR COMPANY WILL SAY ITS VALID.

Stay far away from these clowns. They sent unqualified workers to tile my bathroom and forced me to have all the walls they touched in my new bathroom ripped out and re done by another contractor. Shoddy work, blatant lies and no remediation as promised when the work was proven to be incompetently done. Tried to sue these thieves in small claims court and the sleazy owner avoids court by not being available for court document serving at either business address. Run far away from these crooks as fast as you can.

As seen in photos: gaps three to four times larger than they should be, none of the tiles lined up anywhere, bulging tiles and bad adhesion. Also dumped concrete on my patio that is still there a year later. Had to have three walls removed and replaced, and another contractor to install what Nail It Handyman could not do due to incompetence and no care for my home.

AVOID! I called Nail-It on June 27th requesting an expert in installing an above ground pool. Their quoted prices were around $200 an hour per person for labor. I was assured that their workers install above ground pools frequently and they were experts. I agreed to have one pool installation expert come to my house to help me the next day. I requested the first available appointment and they told me he would be here between 8:30 - 9:30 am the next morning. I received a text at 7:50 in the morning saying that the worker was on his way. I waited outside for hours before he finally showed up. He eventually showed up at 10:45 in the morning. I made multiple calls to the office during this time and all my calls went to voicemail. The worker showed up wreaking of drugs. He would frequently go to his car for something and not return for 10 or so minutes and can be seen smoking something in our cameras. He was NOT a pool expert at all and ended up causing us extra work and costing us extra money. The pool should have been done after 3 hours. He ended up staying for over 3 hours and now I have to fix the work he did because it is wrong. I let management know all my concerns including him smelling horribly of drugs, but they didn't seem to care.

Joe was very professional and skilled, however this business model is not for me. It is for people who can throw lots of money away for convenience. My contractor quoted my $350 to replace my lazy Susan cabinets with shelves. After the first 3 hours my bill was $650 and the job probably needed another hour. The problem is you have to take TWO hours if you go over. I would have ended up paying $1,000 for a $350 job. Now I have to pay someone else to come finish it. This service is great for people who don’t care about, or have excessive amounts of money. That’s not me.

ives did a wonderful job on my front porch replacement. He was skilled and knowledgeable, and i am very satisfied with the work that was done.

This place is a scam. They charge your credit card for no work completed. If they show up at all, they show up 3 hours late, have no idea what the job is and then charge your credit card with no proof. They refuse to answer calls only to credit card companies to try and fight the dispute. Their BBB and Google reviews are awful and everyone has the same situations. Do not use this company!

These people are the worst they don't bring the tools they need to do the job... I paid two men it cost me $1,598 they left for 2 hours to go and get the equipment they needed, I had to pay for it at about $170 an hour times two!!! That's over $600 so they can go get the equipment that they should have had there's no communication I kept calling their office nobody would answer or give me a call back!!! I think that they do this on purpose so they can charge you, also I bought all the materials needed for the job and they charged me, basically it was an auger to dig a hole... They tell you that it's materials but really it's tools they should already have!!! I'm telling you stay away from this company!!!

Tineywas extremely professional and very proficient with his skills. He put up not only difficult drapery rods but also hung with precision my grommet draperies. He did a few other smaller repairs. I highly recommend this company and staff.

I enjoyed working with Tariq on our project. He was smart, flexible, experienced, careful and was very easy to interact with. We did a very detailed and potentially catastrophic project with good collaboration, avoided every major pitfall and actually had a good time doing it.

Dan did an amazing job. He was precise, efficient and very resourceful. We figured everything out and completed the job in the allotted time window. Much appreciated and will definitely be using Dan and team again.

Great job. Professional, pleasant service. However…I paid by check…but my credit card was still debited. Very frustrating and time consuming to correct. I was promised that my credit card would not be charged if I paid by cash or credit card. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. While service was good…the charge to my credit card.. overshadows the service. Won’t use again.

They are deceitful and a scam. Almost a month later I am still waiting for my
Home Depot receipts, I was told the job would take 3 hours despite the tech having to shop for the supplies. Well he shopped for over an hour and did not complete the job in the three hours. Instead of just paying for an extra hour of service - you get charged for 5 hours. There is no contract nothing was explained to me about this and I am still waiting for my receipt. Their customer service manager is a joke too. I would have been better off watching YouTube and doing this myself

Awful company. They will take your money and run! If you look at all their low reviews, it's all the same. Job not done right, overcharged, didn't know what they were doing, fraudulent. They're all right. Also the last time they responded to any negative reviews was 2 years ago. Maybe the company used to be good but it's awful now. I wouldn't listen to any reviews older than 2 years. Like others have said, they're goof reviews have to be fake. They are so scripted and use words like the company would "nailed it". Lol

DO NOT HIRE! Poor experience. They came to fix my fence and ended up damaging my lawn. I called multiple times over 4 weeks and nobody answered. Once they finally did answer, they said it wasn’t their fault even though my front door camera clearly shows the technician driving on my lawn and ruining it. They do not own up to their mistakes and worst of all, they charge you an arm and a leg for 3-hours, poor customer service and inefficient communication.

The 2 workers were working against the weather. The rain prevented them fm completing the job. They will return on Friday. I will add pics later.

Did what the big box service techs couldn't. "Nailed it." I scheduled on short notice, they were on time, communicated well, were knowledgeable, proactive, and came prepared. Very happy with the service.

We called to have an above ground pool installed where we previously had an 18ft pool. 1 day job 2 guys $1198 which was supposed to include a $400 discount. They would have to go to the store to get sand to level the ground under the liner. Which the salesman Eric said he would not charge me for that time in hopes this job would lead to more jobs in the future. So I was only responsible for the cost of the sand. Time doesn’t start until they are at the door. Cool no problem.
Guys arrive at 10:15am to install an inground pool. Huh? No it’s above ground. Ok whatever they are here. They start working now mind you they are only extended the current “hole” 3 ft around to make the 21ft hole we needed. THEY HAD NO TOOLS!! No wheel barrel, no rake, no shovel… they had to use my husbands stuff. How do you show up to a job with no tools to complete the job?
They run to store got few bags of sand. $76 worth.. umm sure it’s gonna take more than 4 bags.
The gentleman comes into my house for water, no problem it’s hot. My mom told them doesn’t look like your getting very far. The guys said to her oh they will have to get her for another day. EXCUSE ME? No! This was supposed to be a 1 day job!
They were sitting in my chairs on their phones… leaning up against my old cars chit chatting. Taking their good old time.
They left my brand new pool liner just thrown in the yard.
I called the operations manager SEVERAL TIMES! Left messages no call back. Spoke to multiple people I wanted to speak to someone about the horrible job these guys did.
They ended up charging my card $600 extra dollars.. charged me for the sand THEY ENDED UP TAKING WITH THEM!
They left my yard a muddy friggin mess. 1 day job 1198$ charged me 1819$ and no pool! 5 hours to dig 3ft around an already existing hole??
This places is a racket and a SCAM! Stay far the heck away! Picture below is worth 1819$??? It’s not even worth the original quote.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, if you could even call it that!!! You Horrible experience; I hired them to install 60ft of a four foot galvanized fence . The sales person quoted the job could be done in 5 to 8hrs with two techs, and it’d be a one day job. However the techs that were sent expertise was not in building fences. They came and said I needed to go rent an auger to make post holes. After getting that with one of the techs. The other one already made the holes needed so it was an unnecessary rental. Then the job wasn’t even finished in the one day. They had me pay for the full amount for both techs in order for me to receive the discount they offered. Upon the techs coming back the next day they didn’t even get 1/2 of the job done in the time I had left. Then they told I needed to pay for a new day of work for two tech. I disagree so they stop work. I call back the sales guy I originally spoke to for him to tell me no one by the name given to me works there. Then they hang up on me NEVER AGAIN!!! Then when I hire an actual fence company they advised me that the work was Done improperly so it had to be done over .

This company is a complete scam. I called them to assemble a playset. I had to send photos of what the playset and where it was going, the assembly was already started so I sent photos of what was there. The guy told me 2 guys for 5 hours and it would be done. I said okay great. They sent 2 guys, one guy worked his butt off, the other guy stood around and did nothing, took personal calls, and just texted on his phone. Luckily we have cameras everywhere so I could watch them. They accomplished nearly nothing because one person was working and one was just occasionally handing the other guy a board. The guy that was working was also not a "professional" at assembling play sets because he was spending a lot of time reading and I understand they aren't fun to assemble but don't advertise your professionals, when they clearly aren't. The manager said they don't guarantee any work being completed just the specific hours and she didn't care they just want there money. I have hired so many people for things in the past, and while of course circumstances happen and maybe it's not fully finished, or they didn't get as much as they hoped done, this was downright a rip off. They charged us $1,200 to assemble a $3,000 playset and they got not even halfway done. Here is the before and after of $1,200 of "work" 2 people for 5 hours. Do yourself a favor and don't hire them. I'm glad I read these reviews as well because so many people said they paid and tried to get their money back after the fact and were ignored and completely ghosted. We refused to pay they can test their luck in court. The manager thinks because you sign a contract you just have to pay them so that's what she will try to tell you but a contract works both ways, they have to uphold their own contract, and I signed for 2 men to work for 5 hours, that didn't happen. I also would like to add that I told the manager the one guy was on personal calls and texting and not working and she didn't care, she said she would ask the other guy, which she did, and he confirmed the guy took personal calls for approx 45 minutes. So they even knowingly hire and are aware that their employees are not caring about doing the job. I don't understand how this company is still running.
