Unfortunately, we had an awful experience with Kenny. He had always been dependable for regular maintenance but when we needed a new unit, he was less than thorough. We had three weeks of excuses as to why he couldn’t get a unit. He wouldn’t return calls until prompted by text. When we needed trouble shooting with the new unit, he said he needed to check with the company for a new code to increase the fan speed because he was unfamiliar with the unit he had just replaced. We broke our warranty to get some answers and it turns out there is NO CODE and the directions to increase the fan speed are on a sticker found on the unit.

Friendly and caring, the owner came checked our hot water and furnace after flooding this week. Helped me with what hot water heater to get to replace our damaged one. I highly recommend them.

They answered on 1st call and tended to the property the next day. Ken was pleasant and explained the problem and gave his suggestion in understandable terms. I plan on using them again when needed.

Wonderulful, fantastic hometown AC service. Got me in within 2 days and the ability to schedule online is fantastic. No one else will service my AC.

If I could give a half star I would. Improper install leading to multiple attempts to get them to fix the new furnace. Gas line not installed to code and required a new installer to fix their error. Owner misrepresented status of the warranty to avoid fixing his mistakes. DO NOT USE unless you hope to be disappointed.

Mr. Heating and Cooling sent a technician out on a hot Sunday afternoon to fix my broken air conditioner. He was friendly, competent, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got my home cooled off again. Pricing was straightforward and reasonable.

BEWARE! My experience was filled with Drama from Office Personnel, Lies, mediocre work, damage to property, and Acts of Extortion. Do as you will, but I recommend searching for, and comparing the other Heat/AC Companies in the area.

My original call was due to outside unit clicking on/off and inside unit having an electric buzz. Kenny came out and replaced the relay on the outside unit, then put a nice creased bend in the inside unit's panel while forcing it off to look at the blower. Since the blower started to spin, he placed the panel back on, asked for $300 (that's after removing $165 for Vet Discount) for the relay replacement, and headed on his merry way. Within 20 minutes after he left, the blower stopped and was making that humming sound.

FYI… $300 is about the Industry Standard Price for such work. I believe their “Veterans Discout” is just a marketing ploy.

I called back to inform them about the blower stop working. Office person, Julie provided a date and time (7:00a) for the blower to be replaced ($1,175, afterVet Discount). I asked for a later time, and she set it up for 8:30a. I have All emails and texts. At the end of the workday before the work was to be done, Julie sent a confirmation for 7:00a. I told her I have emails and texts for 8:30a. She argued the point and since I, The Customer was in the Right, she just Canceled the appointment. If I still wanted the work done, they'd add an additional $275 Emergency fee.

I found another company to do the work, Cheaper, and without a Vet Discount. Now, Julie will possibly respond to this accurate review to try and spin the situation to make them look good. This is my review, and as I stated, do as you will but make sure you do your research before they try to sell you a Whole New System (which they also tried with me)

We had a great experience with Kenneth. He showed up at the scheduled time. Everything was explained to us and the work was performed as planned. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend Mr Heating and Cooling LLC to everyone!!!!

Kenny is so nice, professional and reliable! Im so thankful I stumbled across his business. We sent an online request for a service call because our AC kept freezing up, not only did he call me at 9 in the evening on a Saturday to talk about the issue (so soon after I submitted the request), he showed up the next morning and identified what was wrong and determined we needed a new unit. Late on a Saturday afternoon during the Fourth of July weekend, I discovered my system wasn’t cooling. Figuring no one would be available until after the July 4th holiday I crossed my fingers and called 3 service providers just on the off chance someone was available. Mr. Heating & Cooling not only was the only one to call me back, he did so within an hour and was on site an hour after that to diagnose the problem. He figured out the problem in minutes (2 worn out parts) and luckily had replacements in his truck. Within 20 minutes everything was fixed and up and running! Thanks for saving the day!

Kenneth at Mr. Heating & Cool is great. We had been having issues with our heat pump and furnace this past winter and after a costly misfire with someone else, had Kenneth come out to house. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly and then fixed it quickly. Was pleased enough to go on a service contract with him as well. Highly recommend. It can be very difficult to find reliable people in rural areas - even worse following the pandemic. His responsiveness was fantastic.

We had a 26 year old system, that unfortunately continued to freeze up. We called Mr. Heating and Cooling LLC and Kenny was at our house within an hour and a half, needless to say we live in rural WV (45 minutes from anywhere). Kenny was very punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He gave us a reasonable estimate for a new split system heat pump. He also provided a short term fix until our new system came in. On day of installation, Kenny explained the process and instructed us on the new thermostat and well as telling us the importance of maintenance of the system. Kenny at Mr heating and a/c was great. The man knows what he is doing and is quick to diagnose and fix the problem. He is extremely busy but takes time to get your problem fixed. There are a lot of folks that say they can fix your hvac problems and over charge or just talk you into new parts for the$$ Kenny is not that person. Call Mr Heating & a/c you won't be disappointed.

Excellent service. I called Saturday morning and they were here within 15 minutes and fixed my problem within another half hour. Didn't charge a lot either. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Kenneth helped us diagnose the issues with our propane fireplace. He responded to our initial request for service quickly and arrived when he said he would. Very helpful and reasonably priced. Will definitely use Mr. Heating and Cooling again.

Mr. Carter was on-time and extremely honest in his assessment. He identified what was correct and what was wrong with my system and saved me some headaches. He performed an annual service on our system and recommended a secondary approach but not for a couple of years down the road. Extremally honest and straight forward. He "showed up" as promised which seems to be more difficult these days. He also drove to our off the beaten path to our cabin to work on our HVAC system that supports a multi-story cabin.

He was on the job same day for inspection and I had to replace the whole system he was able to remove and replace everything in 2 days after getting the equipment. We now have AC that works a lot better than before. Thank you
