made an appointment and the first time they didnt show up. Had to reschedule two weeks out. Finally shows up take pictures, wait a week. then tell me they don't help with mobile homes. not understanding why they waited all week more to tell me this instead of saying that when they show up to take pictures. so thanks to Mr Handyman. it's been a mouth for them to tell me they can't help me.

I would definitely hire Mr. Handyman again! I hired them to do several projects on my house and the result definitely exceeded my expectation! Matt Davis was outstanding. The best handyman I have ever had from any source. He is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and willing to discuss what is needed and clear on what is required to address the problem or requests we had. The only concern I have the Mr. Handyman office is not timely in sending receipts for payments I made. Other than that concern, your company is great in addressing and scheduling. Thank for now and what is coming later in other assignment for Matt to meet our requests.

John did an excellent job designing and building new garage steps. Even though this is a relatively new house, the current steps were very narrow and steep. The steps along with the handrail that he added are both safe and comfortable. Plus John was very enjoyable and easy to work with.

Zach was the one who came to our house to fix our baby gate and clean our dryer duct. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely use Mr. Handyman in the future if the need arises again

Called with a couple minor electrical issues. Matt was very helpful in explaining our options and related costs. Will be calling back for an appointment to fix the things we discussed. Great service !

Patty is a great coordinator; this is the second time we've used Mr. Handyman and we remain 100% satisfied. Scott was dispatched to assist due to hail damage in Teays Valley. Scott has extensive experience with roof issues (turbines, furnace vent caps, window cladding), as well as plumbing, electrical work and general services like picture hanging. Great thanks to Scott, Patty, Kim - a knowledgeable team.

Michael, our technician, was personable, courteous and knowledgeable. He quickly resolved the problem with our previously installed ceiling fan.

Cleaned my roof. Came when they said they would, did a really good job, charged a reasonable price. The worker was very friendly and answered any questions. What more could you want.

Just going to be super honest, definitely won’t be using them for anything ever again. I asked them to come remove some rocks from my property, and I asked for a quote at least 3 times over the phone, and she wouldn’t give me one. I figured it couldn’t be that much, so they came out, and when I asked the guy how much, he told me around $500. I immediately panicked and called the office again, asked them why it was so much, and she said that wasn’t right and she’d check. She called me back and said that that was right because they had to break some of the rocks up to get them into the truck. I’m freaking out because I was never expecting to pay that much, and then the guy says he’s done and comes to get the payment, and it ends up being about $300. I just pay it because I’m glad it’s not $500 at that point, and I don’t check because I’m losing it still. Then I go down the next day and they still didn’t get all of the rocks. They got the ones in front of the trashcans, but didn’t move the trashcans to get the ones under it. I called to ask for them to finish the job and she told me I paid for what they took so I’d have to pay again for them to finish. Absolutely insane. Literally wrote them down so I remember to never use them again.

I Reside in Florida Purchased a 2nd Home in Charleston that I can't visit very often. So the garden weeds were out of control and I found this company Mr Handyman online and I am so grateful I did. Right off the bat the customer service was Aces when I scheduled through Patty via phone, she was amazing and put my fears to rest. Then I worked over the phone from Florida with the technician Zach He gave me a quote and got the work done in very little time. I need a maintenance free yard and Mr Handyman is going to make it happen for me. They are coming back a second trip this week for another round and I plan on using them always for interior as well. The entire staff was professional , knowledgeable and truly cared to complete the job and made sure it was done correctly in a timely manner as I requested. From the office staff members Kim who arranged the job, Mike and Zack who did the job were very good and exceeded my expectations. I had an issue that required them to show up at 5 on a Friday and the team quickly resolved the issue. Travis went above his normal job duties and assisted me with phone calls, sending the right service professional and once again made the customer happy and feel good about using their services. Mr Handyman installed a Sign I created for a business in downtown Charleston. They planned the install very well, brought all the equipment needed, enough people to do the job and had the knowledge to get it done safely and securely. I'd definitely work with them again.

He was very kind and described very clearly what needed to be done to fix our side porch and also gave us some suggestions about getting new closet doors. Ill called at 1120 am and spoke with the dispatcher . At 2pm Zach from Mr handyman was at my door ready to go. The price was fair and the work was done quickly, clean, and correct. Will definetley use this service again.

I had been trying to put up a Roman Shade for a week. It was VERY disgusting! I called John, the Handyman and he had it up in 15 minutes! "Oh what a relief it is" (just like the old commercial for Alka Seltzer)! Call them, you won't be sorry.

I needed privacy fence repair done quickly so my dogs would not get out of the yard. They came quickly and gave me an estimate. As soon as I had all the materials they came the very next day and started work. Michael was polite and knowledgeable about what I wanted done. He arrived when he said he would and did everything exactly as I asked . He did a great cleanup and answered all my questions. When completed they charged exactly what was on the estimate. I really appreciate the good work.

This company was contracted during the process of buying our house. They were paid by the sellers. But I was supposed to deal with them once the deal went through. They did 90% of the work they were supposed to do to so the house could sell. However, once the house was closed on they never came back out to finish the work. Due to the unfinished work, the holes they were supposed to catch now have water damage in them and these need repaired even further than before due to them not finishing.
I called multiple times and left messages. I never got a reply back. This was 2 years ago.

Our technician (Joe Forren) did a great job and made sure everything was done properly and in a timely manner. He was on time-in fact he was a few minutes early! He also got right to work! I am very pleased with this company and service! Highly recommend!

I had a few small odd jobs around the house. They did a great job with quality and I was impressed with the speed. I felt the service was a bit high, but I waited 8 months to get these odd jobs done. Plus with the quality, eh you get what you pay for, so definitely worth it. Strongly recommend.

Our experience with Micheal was very good, he was very knowledgeable, he cleaned up after his self and he also got the job done. He was there working for two hours which we expected, The job that he did for us was to replace a wax ring on our commode and he did run into some problems, but he confidently went to Lowe’s and purchased what we needed to complete the repair. We are, very glad that Mr handyman was available, and the job was done on the same day we called them. The office lady was very nice to explain the process to us when we called. This is the first time I have used Mr Handyman. I needed a storm door reattached after wind nearly pulled it all the way off the door facing. Everyone was kind and competent, especially Danny, who did the repairs. He took care of every detail. I couldn’t be more pleased. I will definitely use them in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

A list of bad service over the past few months. Today was the 4th visit to get a front door installation right. The door wouldn’t lock yesterday. After painting, splatters and drips on wood floors and gas stove. They recommended and billed for installing security cameras that did not work. Amazon refunded for the cameras but I still had to pay the installation labor. Less than mediocre work for $150/hour. Surely we can find better quality service providers. A good friend had a similar experience so I’m not the only person with this experience with this company . Save your money and time. Go elsewhere.

I had an appointment for my repair this afternoon. I got a call that the repairman finished his prior customer early and wanted to know if I wanted him to come before the appointment time. This helped me out a lot. When he got there, he introduced himself as Zack. He made suggestions and completed the project quickly and professionally. I appreciate how great this company has been. I will definitely be calling them again!!

This firm has been handling my home maintenance and repair/refresh work for years. 100% trust and they're kind, timely and professional

First I was charged for an estimate, then after explaining I wanted my deck extended with custom steps they came to JUST do the steps, said I never said anything about extending my deck. Isn't it strange the young man that came to do the work knew exactly what I wanted but didn't understand why his boss said only steps? On top of that they want to charge me ALMOST $3000 for just a short run of steps! I had to give them a $1300 deposit and now I don't know if they are going to give me my money back! I am 77 and disabled, is this how they treat seniors? The young man they sent to do the work was wonderful, I have no qualms with him, just his boss doesn't have brains enough to pour pee out of boot!

Matt was on time, friendly, competent, and cooperative. He came on one of the hottest days we've had to paint shutters. He did a wonderful job and was very contentious. Highly recommend and will request again.
