We had Chad Moore install our steel roof in 2018, and this is absolutely the best thing we've done to the house. We live in a pine forest on the Lake Michigan shore, and our shingle roof (1965) needed replacement. I did a ton of research on steel roofs. The internet is pretty daunting: you find out there are a million ways to do steel roofs wrong. Bottom line, make sure your steel roof guy is local and experienced and will be there for you going forward. The best thing I did was to drive around talk to neighbors who already had steel roofs. I asked if they were happy with the work, how long they've had it, how is it working out in terms of maintenance, who did the work, and would you recommend them. The absolute top recommendation was for Chad Moore and his crew. I called and got an estimate and was pleased to learn it was a LOT less expensive than I expected (I'd just had a house in Milwaukee roofed with shingle, and even just getting estimates was crazy). Chad walked us through the options -- color, explained the fasteners, and recommended 6" gutters and gutter guards (turned out to be a real lifesaver). The tear-off crew came when promised, they were professional and efficient, and they tidied up after themselves (believe me, this is a really big deal). The installation crew were super: they were neat and efficient and took the time to answer questions and make recommendations regarding things like the rails that go up to prevent melting snow from tumbling onto your front step. All in all a really first rate experience. We've had this steel roof going on 6 years now, and it looks great and is pretty much zero maintenance. I've had Chad's guys come out a couple of times to blow pine needles off the roof and check the gutters, and I've been really happy witih their work. I've recommended Chad to my neighbors for some copper work and gutters. They're very pleased with his work as well. Chad and his people are reliable, experienced, local and also really nice folks to work with, so this is a recommendation I am happy to make to friends and neighbors.

They worked quickly to remove my first steel roof that was installed poorly by others, replace it with a new one and proceed to installing all the steel siding and trims for my entire new home build. When there were questions about design elements that weren't clear they reached out right away so they could keep moving forward. They were happy to have me checking in at the end of the day so they could relay any less pressing questions, material issues from my supplier or just give updates. I was very happy with the quality and speed of the work performed. I will definitely call back for any future work I have and highly recommend them.

Chad and his crew were awesome to work with. Chad was very attentive to our needs and never beat around the bush. He was very honest with us on our repairs and helped us come us with solutions that fit within our budget. Chad also has an exceptional amount of experience. he was the one who informed us of a much larger insulation issue after coming out to fix our chimney cap. He worked with us to discover our entire roof was covered in mold. He then pointed us in the right direction with other contractors to help us remediate and then followed through the entire process on getting it all repaired. I cannot recommend Moore Quality Exteriors enough. Customer for life!

Came to find the problem with my roof and gutter. Was here the next week to repair them both. That's the type of service I look for.

Just want to give a shout out to Makai, Roger and Jason. They came out on time for the appointment and were friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. They explained what they were doing and then did exactly what they said they would. Jennifer also was really good at setting up the bid and following up with the appointment. We will use this company again for any services they offer. Two thumbs up!

I saw they had 4.6 review, but are yet to return my two calls I have left messages for on a quote. I gave my name and number twice each time and explained what I needed done, but have not gotten a call back at all. Very disappointing. If they make good on it, I will surely rate again accordingly.

Best roofers out there!! My roof looks great and will stay that way for years. I will be calling them again if I need new gutters.
