BEWARE!!! Alex’s team replaced our front porch roof a few years ago. Since then the eaves have given way and the gutter has separated from the house so much so that the roof is now leaking onto the porch. I called him for a gutter repair. He did show up for the appointment and after seeing how much the eaves were sagging, he acknowledged that something was wrong. He didn’t know at the time but he promised to come back in two weeks to fix it. I assured him I would pay for his time despite his acknowledgment that something was wrong with the installation. Unfortunately I never heard back from him. I texted, emailed, left voicemails. No response whatsoever. I have given up. I am now looking for a contractor to fix their work before we have a complete collapse.

My roof had a leak. I called Montclair Roofing for an estimate.
Alex showed me pictures of where the leak was coming from. After looking at the pictures it was a obvious that a roof repair
would be a band aid fix. Alex did not hard sell for a new roof, he gave me an option to repair or install a new roof. I got two
other estimates. One contractor did the hard sell, the other gave me the option. Alex's estimate was reasonable and his honesty
was what made me choose his company. Start to finish the roofing crew was professional and efficient. I would recommend Alex and company for any of your general contracting needs. I will absolutely use this company again!

Montclair Roofing painted my house in 2022. They were very responsive, organized, professional, and easy to work with. Any hiccups we had were addressed promptly and and to my satisfaction. The work was fairly priced compared to other quotes I received. The painting job was done during the pandemic when contractors were under a lot of outside pressure. It was a big job but was executed flawlessly. I have no hesitation recommending Alex and his team. I was very pleased and get many compliments on the finished product. I am also using him for another project.

Alex and crews did 2 excellent jobs for us this month! Exterior painting which was prompt, neat, and professional. Working with their colorist to select paint was invaluable. The crew run by Estefan was polite, hard working, and thorough. They also painted the basement and that was a neat, professional job too.
I would highly recommend this company, I was very happy with their work and they were enjoyable to work with!

Montclair roofing did a great job on my roof. They installed a ridge vent as well as all new flashing, and replaced the shingle siding that needed to be removed for the new flashing. We also got all new gutters. Our house looks like a million bucks now.

Paul was very knowledgeable and promptly returned my calls and texts. Original 80 year old flat tar roof mow replaced with beautiful modern roof. Wish I had called sooner.

I had an appointment seemed like a good company to do business with. They send proposals in 1 hr after accessing what I needed. Three days later I signed proposal and emailed it back. 1 week went by no phone call stating they received contract and would set up an appointment. I had to call they apologized for not setting up an appointment. Then they sent me a text stating that my appointment would be Friday and sent me a text to confirm. I confirmed and no one showed up or even called me to cancel. I had to call to find out what happened. Then they told me that someone would come by on Sunday and do the repair and of course no phone call and no one showed up. I am a first time customer and if this is how they treat clients I would not recommend doing business with them. My be this is a sign they do terrible work.

Alex and his team did my repairs quickly, they were extremely professional and paid close attention to detail, and were on budget. Excellent experience.

Montclair Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. I had called 3 other roofing companies, and Alex at Montclair Roofing was the only one to follow through with giving me an estimate and getting the job started. They were on time and professional through out the project. When they finished, they made sure there were no nails or any other debris left on the property. They did a great job. I highly recommend them.

Excellent experience with Alex and his entire professional crew. We had some issues with deteriorating trim and window sashes, but their restoration work was amazing. The overall prep work was meticulous and the paint job flawless. We'll be calling on them again, for sure.

I used Alex and his team to have the exterior of my house painted as well as for various siding repairs and carpentry work. Overall they did a great job and I would recommend them. The only reason I did not give a perfect 5 star rating is because I did find communication to be difficult at times. For example, it was difficult to get in touch with management at times and that was frustrating, though we would eventually connect. That said, I would definitely use them again, they did a good job and I’m happy with the outcome.

The old roof was removed and a new one installed in one day. The workers were experienced and very efficient. All debris was cleaned up from the property. I would definitely recommend using Montclair Roofing Services for any job. They also gave me a very fair price for the job

This is our second time using Montclair Roofing and there aren’t enough positive things to say. We first engaged with Alex & his team to redo a portion of our roof, the team was professional, on time, and meticulous in their work. On top of that they gave the most honest and fair price, and moved quickly to help us. When we recently had an issue on the interior of our home I immediately called Alex who was there same day, and then had his team come to complete the project. They were again so reliable, and completed the job with ease. It is a breath of fresh air to work with such honest and reliable people who follow through with their work.

Montclair Roofing replace our roof and installed new gutters. Price was competitive and fair. The team of installers were professional, worked quickly, did a great job cleaning up waste and all materials including paper that had wind blown throughout the neighborhood. Our roof has a lot of angles and is steep, I was impressed with the craftsmanship. Also will add that they started and finished the job as committed. I would use them again for other projects.

I recently bought a new home which detached Garage required a new roof. I began searching for local contractors to provide an estimate for new roof. Within a period of 2 months, I contacted 4 different contractors who provided an estimate. Montclair Roofing was the one I selected because when Alex came to do the estimate, he presented himself highly professional, respectful, inspected damaged roof and provided details of what needed to be done at an affordable price. When his crew arrived few days later, they also presented themselves as polite, hardworking, overall knowledgeable about their profession and used high quality products. This company not only specialize in roofing but as well as gutter initialization & repair; painting; siding; carpentry and masonry. I highly recommended them as their job performance is outstanding.

Montclair Roofing repaired/replaced my storm damaged gutter and soffit. On my garage they replaced the roof, repaired holes due to animal damage, did masonry work around the base, and painted. Alex directed everything and was a pleasure to deal with. The various teams that did the work did a great job and cleaned up beautifully. I would definitely work with Montclair Roofing again and highly recommend them.

Montclair Roofing is a excellent Company, Alex is a great person friendly and professional. My wife and I are happy with our new Roof, whenever we called the Company they were very courteous and professional. The work team was always on time.

Alex and his team were excellent. Alex was in regular contact and walked us through the process. We closed on a house with a hole in the roof and Alex squeezed us in and took care of us. He was the most reasonable of the roofing contractors we got quotes from. His team was on time, they moved fast and the roof looks great. He also had one of his guys fix our brick pathway which looks great. Alex is also a genuinely good guy who takes care of his clients - checking in with us to make sure the project met our expectations. There's a reason why you see so many of their signs popping up around Montclair and beyond.

Alex did a fantastic job replacing the flashing around a leaking half moon window. We had a recurrence of the leak, which turned out to be a separate issue, as water was coming in from the roof above the window. They came and fixed the secondary issue without a fee, which I thought was quite admirable. You can't go wrong with Alex!

Montclair Roofing replaced both our roof and gutters. Alex is a great person to work with. The crew was hard working, clean, polite & knowledgeable. They arrived on time and completed the job during the allotted time. Cleanup was done exceptionally well and the cost was extremely reasonable. They were referred to us by a realtor friend. We had an excellent experience working with Alex and Montclair Roofing. The workers completed the work on time and without any problems. We would definitely use them again.

We contacted Montclair Roofing as we had a problem with leaks coming from a flat roof and in minutes we received a call from Alex. He set up an appointment, provided a quote and we scheduled the work for the same week. The crew arrived early Saturday morning and did a wonderful job. They were also super clean and they left the work area spotless. We were so happy that we hired them again for electrical work and hang a light fixture. Alex is wonderful to work with, responsive and professional. We will hire them again!

I called and Alex was great on the phone - went and checked my roof right away. He told me it needed a full replacement and he would get back to me with a price. 3 unreturned phone calls and an unreturned email later I gave up trying to contact him and called another roofer who identified the leak that wasn’t even from my roof (and my roof is fine)! Every time I called I got an answering service that couldn’t answer any questions, just took messages...
I had high hopes after seeing this reviews but was disappointed in the customer service.

Alex was so helpful when he repaired missing parts of my roof. He has one of the best prices in the area and I’m glad I was able to work with such an amazing person. I will continue to work with him. I highly recommend this company

Alex is very fair, gentle, and his crew was quick and professional. They did a fantastic job on a complete roof tear down to the cedar shakes and then another crew did gutter replacement. The price was well more than fair and I could not be more pleased!

Alex and I had a bad start to our relationship but he made up for our start and then some!!!! His worker who came today did excellent work and even though he was by himself he went above and beyond to complete the job he was hired for in a timely and professional manner!!! So much so that my next door neighbor hired him to do work as well. Alex provided a detailed and reasonably priced quote. No extra costs or unknowns. The work was done on time and very professional. The workers were all polite and professional and house and yard was treated with care was cleaned up well after. The looks great and they did a great job.

We had our entire roof replaced (garage too) by Alex and his team. They replaced all of our gutters and down spouts too. When I asked last September if we could schedule for spring, Alex told me that they could have it done between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they did. We had company staying over through New Years, and the work I wanted to schedule for spring had already been done! We have an old house, so some of the details and nuances of it's design style need to be considered during renovation...even roofing, and they matched the old style beautifully. Having had Montclair Roofing Services replace our roof (and any subsequent repairs) led us to think of other projects that we can utilize their talents for. They do a LOT more than just good roofing!

Montclair roofing provided a seamless experience with a high quality product. Our roof looks amazing and our minds are now at ease. We called on a Friday and the following Monday a team of professionals were at our home ready to work with the supplies and hardware. They finished the following Monday despite losing two days due to bad weather.
