Montana Renovations and Contracting

I like Josh and his guys but they left me in a super tough spot. Their team claimed to be finished with my project.

They pressed hard for payment before I had an opportunity to check it out. I’m glad I held off. Upon inspection there are light switch issues, a drain they installed that sits almost 1/4” above the shower base and can not use, they Sheetrocked a bathroom and used calk in the corners instead of tape, didn’t tape the rest correctly and it’s all cracking, Drove a screw through the wall that sticks into the hall, Destroyed new closet doors installing them and they’re falling apart, cut bedroom doors incorrectly and they rub the floor, debris under new laminate floor, missing trim throughout the house, and the list goes on.

Overall the cost to fix all these items is far more than the amount I held back. I asked him to come fix these items and he was quick to ignore me at first. When he finally replied, weeks later, it was that they are way too busy.

To be fair they did another small project and did a good job. This one is a mess though. There are good areas but a majority not in good shape.
