We had three major projects done by Montana Exteriors. Full siding replacement, full roof replacement, and all new windows. Eli was a pleasure to work with and honest and reasonable from the first time we talked until all 3 jobs were complete. Craig did a wonderful job on our siding and our roof. We are so happy with outcome. The windows (all 20 of them) were replaced by Eli's window crew (who were so professional) in 5 hours! I was amazed to see what a well oiled machine that crew is. They know exactly what they're doing! Communication was great and Eli made sure we were satisfied every step of the way. If we ever were to need exterior work again, Eli will be our first call. I highly recommend Montana Exteriors!

I contacted Eli and his crew to replace my roof. They did great work, and the project was done quickly. However, after the roof was completed, I found out that he did not apply for the proper permits to complete the work. I cannot update my insurance due to this and the state is displeased that it was done this way. It has been incredibly hard to reach Eli since I found out this information. At this point, it looks like I will have to try to apply for the permits retroactively and pay the fees associated, when I thought that this had been taken care of by Eli already.

From the bid for my new roof and gutters to clean up after the job was done, Eli and his crew exceeded my expectations every step of the way. I’d give a 6 star review if there was such a

My Wife and I met Eli at the Helena home and garden show. He is 100% a man of his word in every aspect. Everything went as described and the results were top notch. We had multiple companies give us a bid. He not only beat them in price but, he clearly had much more experience than the other guys who bid on our windows. Not only did he get our beautiful high quality windows installed two months ahead of schedule but, he offered practical and cost effective solutions for some of the cosmetic flaws on the exterior of our home (which the other companies didn't offer). This first experience with him was for the replacement of windows in only one level of our home but, we intend to have him back very soon to replace all remaining windows.

I had 8 extremely outdated windows replaced with vinyl double hung windows by Eli and his crew. I paid my 50% deposit on April 8th to have the windows ordered and the windows were installed on June 22nd. The hardest part of the process was the wait but Eli let us know that it would be about 2-3 months before install. The wait was well worth it! Alside windows are great quality and we love them. Installation took his large crew about 2 hours and all windows were on the second floor. His crew was extremely professional and honored our request for no shoes or to wear shoe covers on the 2nd floor carpet. On top of everything going so great, he beat his competitors on price by a long shot! I highly recommend Montana Exteriors for your window replacement! Shop local!

I was first very impressed with Eli after he responded to my inquiry about a complete new house siding removal and replacement. He is very professional and thorough in his presentation and explanation of the proposed work. His crew were excellent, on time and did great work with a more than satisfactory result. My wife and I are very happy with the new look of our home and are assured of a job well done.

Over the span of a few years my satisfaction from the initial work to the later service has degrade my review from very satisfied to unsatisfied.

I do not recommend Eli. He was great for the initial install, but he was horrible to work with as soon as I needed warranty repair. I submitted a warranty issue in Nov of 2020. Eli was responsive then and ordered my frame. The frame arrived in June of 2021. By August 2021, I followed up by asking for an ETA for the installation. Eli left me an aggressive voicemail. He stated I should be happy I even have the frame in his voicemail. He would install it before winter.
Winter came, and I followed up in February 2022 to ask for an ETA for service. I received no response. And then, I followed up again in March and got no response. I then contacted the distributor to ask who else had experience with Alside to get a new contractor. The new contractor completed the work promptly. Montana Exteriors still has yet to contact me regarding the warranty repair.

I noticed a crack in my frame and requested a warranty replacement in Nov 2020. My new frame is currently in my garage, waiting for installation.

We had windows that needed replacing due to some manufacturing defects. Eli was on it! He ordered our replacements and installed them with ZERO issues.

Eil and his crew are great! We had them replace our soffit, fascia, gutters, and windows.

Our soffit, fascia, and gutters were all installed about 6 months ago. Our windows were ordered during that same time. However, due to things out of Eli's control our windows took 6 months to come in. They arrived on 12-09-21 and were installed the next day! Eli's crew did an amazing job! Eli thought that they would be here till after dark getting my 12 windows in and it only took them 3 hours to get them in. The Crew worked fast and hard! They were professional and did not waste time standing around not working!

Eli was great with keeping me informed and updated on the ETA for the windows!

I had my windows installed last year and finally had a day I could see how easy it was to wash the inside AND outside of the windows without having to drag out ladders. Eli and his guys were great. I'm replacing windows from 1976 with no insulating power whatsoever. He and his crew showed up at around 10 am while it was 20 degrees and snowing outside and had 8 windows pulled and replaced in 3.5 hours. So far they're great and he's been a gem to work with.

I have had four new windows for two months now and I can't believe the difference they have made in the comfort of my home! The installation was flawlessly done and the sun protection the windows give me on the south side of the house has been fantastic. I am sure

I had all windows and glass doors replaced in February of 2018. Prior to their replacement I had slabs of ice on many windows and my home felt like a refrigerator. Excellent experience! Eli was very professional while explaining our options. His was not the cheapest bid we received but we went with him based on his reputation. Eli and his team installed 10 new high efficiency windows in our condo in Helena, Montana in 2017 and 2018. His price was competitive and done with no additional charges. Our condo is on the second level, so it was not an easy install and several of the windows were large, 9'x4'. The work was done quickly when promised and with excellent craftsmanship. Our HOA rules required that the replacements match the original design, and they all did. Our remodel triggered other owners to use Eli for the same work. Montana Exteriors replaced all my windows on my house and garage last couple of years (2019-20) (due to finances I could not afford all at once) and the experience was great. Installers were amazing. I called around to get a quote on the replacements and Eli was the only one that said he could come give me a quote the next day. Other quote would have been 8 days out. This year (August 2021) I hired Montana Exteriors to have a new roof and new rain gutters put on my house and garage and once again Eli came through. It is all perfect!! I purchased windows with exterior trim from Mt Exteriors. Eli was very easy to work with and the construction crew was awesome. Fast, efficient and excellent workmanship!

We were in the market for a new patio door & windows and had shopped around to all the local retailers and all had left us less than impressed. While liking the doors and customer service at a local big box retailer, we felt the installation price was unreasonable. As a last resort, we contacted Eli at Montana Exteriors and right from the start made us feel at ease. Not only did Eli take his time explaining his product and installation steps, at our request, he quoted our whole house full of windows as well. His quote with product and installation was so reasonable and competitive, we couldn’t say no!

The installation experience was nothing short of remarkable. We had to wait for the windows and door to be fabricated which took about 6 weeks. Eli kept in constant contact with use throughout the entire process and we never felt like we were on an island by ourselves. We had a special request since our window ledges were quite deep, we wanted the new ledges to match our new knotty alder interior doors we just installed. Eli said this was no problem and was very accommodating! Eli even went so far to take time out of his schedule to meet us a local Hardwoods retailer to pick out and pay for alder wood that we could stain to match. He even went so far as to deliver the entire load of lumber to our house!

Then came installation day! The installation crew was very courteous and super knowledgeable about their craft. They truly are artisans and each new window/trim looks like a professional work of art. The quality of the end result from the product to the installation was professional and quick. The team finished a whole house of windows, patio door, and trim in 1 1/2 days! One window did arrive broken in transit prior to the installation. Installation team was able to secure opening and Eli ordered a replacement right away. Eli and his team took care of everything and we never had to worry about a thing! I would highly recommend Eli and Montana Exteriors to anyone looking for true craftsman and those looking for a professional end result. We appreciated Eli’s great customer service! I am assisting Judith McCaulley in posting her review. In July, she had several replaced by Montana Exteriors. First and foremost they showed up on time, were efficient and the workers were extremely pleasant to work with. They also were courteous in making sure things were cleaned up when they were finished. Windows are easy to open and she loves them!

Eli and crew replaced a large picture window in our home. They were professional and fast during installation. During the removal of the blind it broke and when Eli was informed he wanted to know what would fix the situation and then did just that.

Eli was straight forward, and honest with everything that was going to be done. Gave me many options/choices while choosing my windows. He did before and after pictures for me! He was very flexible in getting things done around my work schedule. They didn't mind working at my house without me present, even with 4 dogs there! He even got the aluminum wrap for the outside of the house overnighted from Denver as I originally didn't want to spend the money but then he showed me the difference between having it and it not having it and he made it happen.

Holy cow! What a difference four new windows make! Eli and Co. put in the late hours and got our new windows installed in no time flat and beat the rain that was predicted the next day. I've worked with Eli and Montana Exteriors on two projects now. One was a total roof replacement on a 100 year old building and one was for replacing the 60 year old windows in my house.
