Adam and the team at MSSMR were terrific! They replaced a gross shingle roof on our shaded front porch that collected moss and moisture for years. Now we have a beautiful metal roof and new guttering that is top notch! Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it will also be functional, solving our chronic moss problem. We’ve already had lots of compliments on it.

Meeting with you for the initial proposal inspection- I had a really good feeling proceeding. You did a great job explaining the process, determining what was involved, and how the workflow of the project would play out. You did so confidentially and assuringly. I knew I was dealing with a genuine professional.

I have cameras scattered around my property to include the wooded areas.. When work started, I would occasionally observe your crews working. I have to tell you- I was incredibly impressed with the execution on every level. It was a week of freezing temps and varying precipitation, but your crews powered through each phase. They were there every morning, and remained into the evening each day regardless of weather.

A few years ago, we met with Adam to have a roof installed by Modern Standing Seam and it has been awesome. This year, we added an addition to the house, and we called Adam at Modern Standing to install the new roof to the existing roof. When we decided to change the roof, we first reached out to a more popular nationwide roofing company that installs only the traditional shingles asphalt roof for a quote. Two salesmen from that company showed up the very next day. They made us sit for a two-hour PowerPoint presentation in an iPad that went on and on about their workmanship, why we should choose them and only them etc., and they kinda made us feel that our current roof could collapse anytime (our roof was just fine) and if we don't choose them then we are doomed. And finally, they gave us a quote with an exorbitant amount. They put tremendous amount of pressure on us. Of course, we rejected them.

And then we reached out to Modern Standing Seam Metal Roofing for a quote. After a few days Matthew showed up at our door. His presentation was pretty open ended. Answered all our questions and at no point in time neither he used any pressure tactics, nor we felt any pressure. He inspected the roof and told us that there is nothing alarming with the current roof and if we decide to keep it for couple more years then we could. Finally, he gave us the quote and we were very surprised to see his numbers. It was slightly more than the traditional shingles asphalt roof price the other company gave us! Considering the cost of the metal (compared with the asphalt) we knew these guys are making a very slim margin and their price is unmatched by any other. But honestly, we were very nervous about their workmanship though.

Once the tentative installation time approached, we received a call from Adam (owner of the company) for the first time. Since we had a couple of Skylights, he wanted to send a guy to measure the dimensions before placing an order. Couple weeks later he called us again and gave us the project start date.

On the day they started the work while Adam and one other person cutting the metal (on the spot!) four of his men stripped down the old roof and laid down the foundation where the metal sits on top and finished the 1/3 of the installation! Later that evening once the crew left the premises the wind picked up like crazy and one of the weather strip they put on that day blew away. That introduced a small opening in the unfinished area. Since there was an upcoming storm that night, I took a picture of that and sent that to Adam. He immediately sent one of his men to address that. The guy came at 9pm and claimed up on the roof in dark with a flashlight tied on his head and added more weather materials to prevent any leak. Right at that moment I started feeling very comfortable and all my nervousness about the workmanship, accountability everything vanished.

After the first day, because of the weather conditions they were not able to work for the next few days. Once again when the weather turned better that morning, I saw Adam in the yard holding breakfast/coffee from DD waiting for his crew. The guys wasted no time and finished the work in another 2 and half days! It is a very small/tight crew (3 people). They work very hard and really fast. Once the job is done the crew did a cleanup of the premises then couple more guys came and did another round of cleanup. After a few days Adam came down to collect the check (payment) and while I was making the check, he used his magnet stuff and performed another round of cleanup.

After cleaning up he looked little disappointed. Since I made the check for the exact balance, I thought he was disappointed to see I didn't add any gratuity. So, I asked him is everything alright? He said that his magnet picked up a couple nails when he did the cleanup! I was literally floored when I heard that. I mean this guy takes supreme pride in his (his crews) workmanship. Anything less than 100% is unacceptable to him.

Fantastic company, unbeatable price, great hardworking crew, and above all an extremely sincere owner/leader who deeply cares about his workers and the work they deliver.

There's not much to say about these folks outside of doing a great job and making sure things are right before the job is considered complete. The new roof certainly looks much better than our old roof. Its incredibly quiet in the rain (even considering the crazy rain we have been getting recently, which was one of our concerns we read about). The job was relatively quick and they started earlier than expected. They out priced the competition by a large margin and were friendly about it as well! They walked us through the whole process, performed the job, inspected the job, came back to fix additional items on the list and made sure we were happy with the work. Clean up was super easy (I did still end up finding some nails around the yard but I think thats likely for every job, they did attempted a very thorough clean up (No need to return for clean up, this was minimal and understandable).

They were not the first ones we spoke to, but they were the last. They were the only ones that wanted to know the condition of the roof boards. I felt very confident signing them on and having an option of financing helped greatly.
They were quick - took only 2 to 3 days from start to final clean up. Very professional crew that know their work. We are very happy.
As an architect, I understand the process and requirements to do a good job. I liked how they insisted to remove the old shingles and install 6 feet of ice guard and ridge vent. Great detailing and flashing. Job well done.

Very nice company. No pushy sales pitches and willing to answer any and all questions before you sign so you are comfortable with the process. If you're skittish about high dollar contracts, they will do their best to put you at ease. Responsive and cared about the final result--they even replaced a few panels when I wasn't happy with the finish and a few big scratches at the back of the garage. Job started ahead of projected date and was finished as promised (actually took less time than I thought it would). Crew was nice, cleaned up well, were respectful of the propery, didn't blare music while they were here. Other than the requisite hammering, you won't know they are even there! I would use them again, but now that we have a metal roof, we won't need to. :-)

Our roof was replaced by Modern Standing Seam Metal Roofing. They were professional, responsive and did a great job. We absolutely love our new roof and would highly recommend them. We had an old stove pipe which they removed for us and also replaced the siding over the stove pipe hole. They didn’t have to do that for us, but they went the extra mile!

Modern Standing Seam Metal Roofing replaced the roof on my house and barn prior to installing solar panels. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years and was extremely happy with both their service and final product. From the initial meeting to the final install, Adam and his team were professional, friendly, and highly skilled workers. My project was large and intricate, yet the work was done expertly and within a reasonable time.

I also had the roofers install a large cupola on my barn. They brought in an expert carpenter to make sure it was done right. They also replaced a number of rotting fascia boards and removed and replaced some skylights on my barn. Everything was done professionally and I couldn't be happier with the results. The final cost was more than fair given recent construction costs and even after the final payment, Adam followed up to make sure I was still happy with everything.

Adam Rosario and his crew did a great job removing our 26 year old shingle roof and installing his standing seam metal roof system. Our house has multiple peaks and valleys and is not a simple roof. The custom bent work such as the ridge caps, edge pieces, and flashing around the chimney are all precisely fit and look professional. They started on the day they committed to and worked diligently to complete it in a reasonable time. Soon after they finished a weak hurricane was scheduled to come through our area and Adam worked with the dumpster company during a weekend to make sure the dumpster was removed before the storm. The roof withstood the wind without issue. This type of roof is more expensive than a shingle roof, but steak costs more than hamburger for a reason, it’s a premium product. I would definitely recommend Adam and his company, Standing Seam Metal Roofing Company.

We recently replaced out asphalt shingle roof with a snap clip standing seam metal roof installed by Adam Rosario and his crew from Modern Standing Seam Metal Roofing. From start to finish this was a professional, smooth and completely satisfactory process. If you are considering a metal roof, look no further, you will not find a better product, and a frankly enjoyable process, at a fair reasonable price, anywhere else. We had proposals from several roofing companies – Adam is clearly the best. On day one Adam’s crew arrived as promised and on time – before lunchtime, the old roof was in the dumpster that had arrived that morning, nails and debris were carefully picked up and much of the underlayment was on. We patched a small problem in the roof deck and presto, the entire roof was clean and dried in. They even began flashing and some of the steel pans before the day was done at 5. Fast, cheerful, polite, respectful, efficient and highly skilled – what a crew! The rest of the install, over two days was the same. We were a little concerned about noise from the metal in a rain or hail storm – but not an issue all, tested by a recent storm – underlayment does the job well. In summary, Adam fully informed us of what would happen, and then made it happen with no drama – the result is a gorgeous roof, and two very happy customers. When we were looking to have the roof replaced, we looked at numerous companies. Adam was quick to respond and was significantly lower in price. He described their product and answered all of our questions. They stripped the old roofing off and installed a new standing seam metal roof.
