We had such an excellent experience with Brian at Modern Roofing. I contacted the company about an issue we were having with an overflowing gutter, and Brian was able to come out 2 days later for an inspection. After carefully examining the area of concern from the ground, the roof, a ladder, and even inside our attic, he concluded that the issue was not as severe as we had initially believed it to be and gave us guidance on how we could address it ourselves.

Additionally, while Brian was on the roof, he noticed that the critter guard around our solar panels had been breached and gave us clear instructions on how to repair that as well. He wouldn't accept payment for his visit, as he insisted that his work was simply diagnostic and he hadn’t done any repairs!

I was so impressed with Brian’s thoroughness, analytical skills, and integrity. Whenever we are next in need of work on our roof or gutter system we will absolutely be calling Modern Roofing.

Like many construction projects, mine experienced its own share of delays, but the team here did a great job of staying in contact and following up until the roof repairs were complete. They finished the work in a day and the price was as quoted. Would use the again and refer them without hesitancy.

I can’t say enough about this company and the owner, Brian. My home is three years old and we managed to have eight broken tiles. He was extremely responsive and his inspection was comprehensive. He also used a drone to ensure the rest of our three level roof was good to go I’m so grateful for the effort and care he displayed. I now have a roofer that I know I can rely on in a pinch!

As almost everyone has had less than an ideal experience with a contractor at some point, it was quite a pleasant surprise when Brian, the owner/contractor, did what he said he would do, when his crew arrived on time and completed the job on schedule, and when minor punch-list items were completed he didn't try to upcharge me. Yes, he's a real contractor! I wouldn't hesitate to use Modern Roofing again for repairs or new roofing in the future. As I have owned other real estate in other states, and have had significant experience with contractors, I would say Brian and his company should get consideration at least in any roofing projects you might undertake in the future.

I selected Modern Roofing Group to repair damaged fascia and failing gutters on my home. I reached out to several companies and selected MRG. Others were fine, but Brian explained the work clearly and respectfully, provided useful information for me to review, and was the only bidder who actually got on the roof to inspect the gutters from above. The installers were courteous, communicative, and cleaned up after the work was done. The repaired wood and new gutters look great. I recommend Modern Roofing Group.

MRG did an excellent job. Brian Huff was assigned to our project and he walked us through every step of the project. He was there when the insurance representative inspected the roof and pointed out to the inspector items that needed to be included for replacement - kept the inspector honest. He identified items that were not done correctly when the roof was previously replaced several years ago to prevent leaking. A good and affordable roofing company. A company that owned by a veteran and won’t force or use tactics to get you to sign a contract.

We had some prior issues with other roofing companies being unresponsive and/or taking a long time to confirm quotes and schedule work. Modern roofing group took our concerns seriously and helped us diagnose the problem via email and in person the following day after we called, for a repair that another roofing company misdiagnosed. Brian was urgent and informative, and also provided a fair price for the work that needed to be done. We had everything done within two weeks and we have found our “go to” roofing company!

Brian was very courteous and professional. He put in a lot of time to diagnose our issue (water leaking behind siding and then getting inside). His solution was much simpler and cheaper than the other estimate we got. I recommend him and his company and would use him again.

Brian found hail damaged areas that one of the other contractors missed. Brian even attached a Hail History report. He worked directly with our insurance claims adjuster, together they were on our roof checking all the issues.
