Michal handled our deck project with skill! He arrived on time, explained the problem and solved it the same day. He was also friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely hire Michal again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Michal on many different projects in my 100 year-old house. Michal helped me with finishing work in my basement which included framing, drywall, painting, tile work, and toilet installation. He also did stone work outside my house and did a great job installing stone steps and repairing concrete. The other projects that Michal helped with was restructuring my gutter drains that were originally poorly installed and upgrading my entry foyer with wood detailing and painting. Michal is very communicative and professional. Michal went above and beyond trying to find basement tile that closely matched the existing tile we had and I was so grateful for this. As other reviewers have noted, his work is very high level and he really takes pride in his craft. He would consult with me on a regular basis about the work and also provide very helpful recommendations based on his experience. I intend to work with Michal for many years to come.

We've worked with Michal on multiple home projects and he's done a terrific job on each one. In particular, when our front porch needed repairs, he was super helpful with the DC permit process and recreated the historic details perfectly. He's also incredibly responsive, which is always appreciated. We give him our highest recommendation and look forward to working with him on our next project.

The guys from RemodelingMM replaced our roof. They did a fabulous work. I also appreciated the fact that they did the work as planned and within the agreed budget. Our house looks so much nicer!

Michal's company did exterior painting, window reglazing, and a front porch rebuild for us. He and his crew were wonderful: extremely detail oriented and worked like it was their own house. I cannot say enough good things about their work. This was a large job over several months and they were consistently available and I was always able to get Michal if I had a question. MM Remodeling: Michal Michlo built a front portico for us in 2018. It turned out beautifully--just as we had hoped--and we enjoyed all our interactions with Michal. He's honest and straight-forward, personable, fair, and very hard-working. He responds to calls and emails quickly and follows through. He is a skilled carpenter and did all the carpentry himself; his subcontractors did the stonework and roofing. When the possibility of costs additional to the original estimate emerged, Michal let us know immediately and got our input. (For example, originally we had planned to retain the sconce lights on either side of the door, but when it became clear that a single ceiling light would be a better choice, Michal alerted us to the additional cost for electrical work as well as the need for an additional county permit--and fee. We chose to proceed and are glad we did because it is a far more aesthetically pleasing lighting choice. This and a couple of other changes of ours and unforeseen old-house problems understandably added to our cost, but there were no surprises in the end.)

We had gotten four estimates. Michal got back to us more quickly and in more detail than anyone else. His estimate was competitive and his demeanor and follow through sealed the deal. Now, with the job completed, we can say that from first impression to final product, we recommend Michal Michlo and MM Remodeling. We will definitely use him again when we have other remodeling projects because finding a good contractor is often the hardest part.

This year (2020) in late January, early February, Michal did some exterior carpentry for us on our cedar siding as well as window and door trim. This was not a huge job, but was one that required skill. As was true last time, the work is excellent and the interactions with Michal are always pleasant.

MM Remodeling did an excellent job remodeling our bathroom. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others. Michal and his partner Alex are extremely hard workers. They often showed up early and worked late to ensure the job was completed on time. Michal is hands-on and honest. He always provided a range of options for materials and next steps, listened to what we were trying to accomplish, and was transparent about additional issues that arose during the project and fixing them, e.g. unexpectedly finding rotted wood below our original shower. MM Remodeling is a trustworthy, very professional, great quality, and good value for making your home improvements!

MM Remodeling did an outstanding job remodeling our master bathroom. The owner, Michal, was onsite every day and patiently explained what was needed, why it was needed, and answered any questions that we had. We felt very comfortable with him and really felt like he was taking the time to make sure we were happy with the work being done. He updated us periodically to show us what was being done (and to caution us to keep our kids out of the area to not mess up the work). Once complete, our shower is better than before and we are 100% confident that this work is the best quality. Additionally, Michal took care of some other minor problems we had - he fixed a gutter that had come away from the house, and installed a lip on a back exterior door to keep the rain from coming in. Very professional and A+ quality work. I would recommend Michal and MM Remodeling to my Mom, neighbors and friends - anyone who wants quality work done!

Very pleased with Michel’s professionalism and craftsmanship. You will not get a cheap quote. So skip him if you are looking for that. But if you’re looking for a contractor you can trust to not cut corners and Pay attention to details, this is your guy.

I have been using MM remodeling for years on numerous projects (across two different homes), from somewhat smaller projects like installing a ceiling fan and a water filtration system to larger remodeling projects like replacing doors and windows. Michal and his workers show up on time and work until the job is done. Michal is great at communicating what your options are as well as the costs and benefits of pursuing a particular option. Most importantly, I am always impressed by the quality of the work.

Michael was a very nice guy to work with! Polite and friendly. He replaced our deck door trim. The work was on our front metal railing. Lots of rust and missing pieces. He knows exactly what to do and his welding job was perfect! Our railing looks great after! We will definitely keep his contact for future remodeling!

We had some kitchen backsplash tiles that needed repair and replacement. After several other contractors failed to show on their scheduled day, I found Michal on a Google search. He gave us an estimate the same day I contacted him, and it was a fair price. On the scheduled work day he was on time and completed the project in one day. He was extremely neat during his work, covering the counter and appliances below his work, and thoroughly cleaning up before he left. The work he did was great. I highly recommend him.

MM Remodeling did an excellent job remodeling two of our showers. Michal was pleasant to work with, showed up on time, and completed the project with the highest degree of precision and consideration. He performed many additional jobs for us such as clearing outside drains and downspouts, fixing a hole in the roof, and installing railings, light fixtures and curtain rods. I was very pleased with his work and would recommend MM remodeling to all my friends and neighbors.
