I asked for a quote for roofing a house we are going to sell shortly. The office was very responsive, sending Caleb out to quote on our roof job next day. Caleb was professional and obviously knew his product, architectural shingles. He showed us a board with color options, and quoted their price for the job after going up on the roof and taking a look.

The crew of four made short work of the job a few days later, finishing in half a day, and the end result was beautiful, new black shingles on the roof.

Mills roofing did a great job. They completed the job in one day as promised and they even tightened some gutters and replaced a piece of weather flashing on the side of the house. Caleb also offered me a veterans discount. I must have been wearing some of my old Army swag and he asked me if I am veteran. Mills roofing provided the best estimate of the three estimates that I received and Caleb offered to tighten the gutters and replace a piece of siding as part of the offer. I enjoyed talking to Sean (also a veteran of OEF/OIF) and Caleb. They had a great crew. These gentlemen keep their word. They say what they mean and they mean what they say. If I did not already have a job, I would apply to work with them. I will contact Mills in the future for additional help with future projects.

I have a fairly long house which was in dire need of a new roof down to the plywood. Mills Roofing was reasonable, responsive, and performed the work in good time. Their installers were respectful of my property and generally respectful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Came out and replaced the roof of our sun room. Employees were respectful and cleaned up after each other. Owner came by to inspect before and after. We will need the full roof done in the next few years and I would definitely use them again.

We were referred to this company by several people. We called 4 days ago and left a them a message to call us. No one returned our call. Not sure they would be reliable if they can't even return a phone call.

They did a great job with our Roof and back deck.
Roofing guys were fast and great quality. Deck guys took longer than I expected (3 days) and played loud music all day but the work quality was excellent.

Working with Kenny and his team was a phenomenal experience. They were honest, quick and did an incredible installing the new roof. Most roofing companies don't do a god clean up of the yard then they're finished. Mills Roofing replaced the roof on our 3 story townhome in one day. The entire process from initial roof estimate to roof completion was done with total professionalism. Caleb, Nick, Eric and the crew were all polite, professional and very thorough. They did not hesitate to answer any questions or concerns. They also did our adjoining neighbor's roof at same time and cleaned the front and back areas of both homes to perfection. No debris was left on ground, on decks or around windows. They used the magnetic sweep repeatedly to ensure no nails were left on either property or on the adjourning neighbors' properties of the two homes to ensure no nails had landed in their yards during demo. In addition to the roofing product warranty, Mills Roofing also warrants their workmanship for 10 years and it's transferrable. This is a 5/5 star company. Highly recommend them!

The Mills Roofing team from the estimating to the installation. They were a pleasure to work with. We had got several quotes from different contractors and some were very expensive and we had to get them to come down in price to be competitive. And the Mills team give me a solid quote that was bottom line from the start. Then the crew showed up on time and went to work by 7:00 am and was done by 2:00 pm and was very neat work. We were very pleased and satisfied with everything they did. I would recommend them highly.

Unable to get an estimate or establish an appointment time. They sent someone out to my house once to look at the damage. Since then they have said almost every day that they will call me the next day to give me an official estimate and make an appointment to have siding repaired on my house. This has been going on for over a week. Not today, but we'll have it the next day. At this point I don't trust them to actually show up in person even with an appointment. If you prefer being delayed, ignored, and lied to this may be the company for you. I'm going with someone else.

Mills Roofing installed standing seam steel roof for a new building for us some years ago. We were so impressed we had them also do our barn roof. Then in 2020, our residence needed re-roofing. Mills roofing replaced a tin standing seam roof with a copper standing seam roof on my home in King William County. The home is on the National Register of Historic Places and as a member of the county Historic Preservation Board, I am very familiar with preservation techniques for old buildings. Skill, knowledge and quality craftsmanship are key, and Mills Roofing seemed to have it all. Melvin impressed me right away with his knowledge and "hands-on" working experience. He did the estimating, supervised all the construction work and personally took on the difficult tasks. The work was on schedule, the site was kept clean and I would rate the overall job as excellent - highly recommended.

We were very pleased to use Mills Roofing to replace and repair the roof on our fairly large garage. The team showed up on time, worked continually and tirelessly in removing the old garage shingles, addressing the facia and soffet boards that ha rotted since the original roof was installed 30 years prior. The Mills team of experienced roofers came prepared, cleaned up as they removed and replaced some of the underlying plywood, tar paper, nails, and old shingles, and even brought a metal detector to find roofing nails that had fallen on the ground from this job and the original roofing job. Mr. Mills gave us a very reasonable price quote and his team did not disappoint! Thank you!

Mills installed the roof prior to this one. After 30+ years I decided to replace it to insure we didn't have problems. They were helpful with providing the most economical way to meet our needs and beat several other estimates. When they removed the previous roof they assured us while there were signs of wear, it was still intact without any structural damage. They competed the job quickly with cleanup afterwards. It took me awhile to find a quality roofing company in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Most don't call you back. Others clearly don't specialize in roofs. I initially was simply looking for a roof repair. Other roofing companies wouldn't even come out to look at the roof because they "only do roof replacements". Michael, one of the owners, came out and gave us a proper assessment along with quotes for both repairing and replacing the roof. He and his team then replaced the roof on a 2500 square foot house in a single day. I haven't been this impressed with a contractor in awhile.

Mills Roofing came out immediately to our inquiry and spent several blistering hot days completely replacing and repairing the roof and some surrounding damage. I can’t say enough good things about these people and this company.

Mills Roofing, LLC did excellent job working with our insurance estimates and dealing with equipment delays after hail damage in 2021 by replacing our roof in 2021, siding on back of house gutters, 7 better quality windows in 2022 plus screens on front and back sliding door.
