Midwest StormTech

I hired Midwest StormTech to fix a leak in my siding surrounding a window. The leak persists, but I can't get John to come back. I also can't get him to return a phone call. We've set up a time for him to repair the leak, but he didn't show. He says he called and texted, but I'm pretty good at operating a phone and can tell you that he did neither of those things. This week, I've called, left voicemails, texted, sent and email, and booked through the online booking system. Though I received a reminder about the booking, no one showed up.

Everything was great. We had a hail storm hit our house on a Saturday evening and he was out the following week. Our roof and siding were hit and we already got our new roof, we had to go back and forth with the insurance but now they will be covering the siding. Professional, fast, always cheerful to speak to and I would highly recommended.

I was in a pinch to get a new roof for insurance purposes. I called Midwest Stormtech an they where out the next day with a quote. He had the best offer by far. Within two weeks( because of the rain), he had his crew out here, an had tore my old roof off, repaired what needed to be repaired, and the new roof on, cleaned up all in 3.5 hours. His crew was great, very nice, an hard working. I would recommend this company to anyone. An my insurance company was impressed by the work also.

Due to weather,repair got pushed back a couple of times but communication was spot on.Got the job done and noticed a couple of minor issues that he tended to which could have turned into major repairs.I would/will recommend John and his crew to anyone that might need roofing work done.

Quick response time, very professional, helpful, and competitive pricing. My wife and I have had Midwest out for roof repairs twice now and wouldn't consider hiring another contractor.

Upon inspecting our roof, the owner of Midwest StormTech told us he was was fairly certain he could get us a new roof with our insurance company. We told him we didn't want to make a claim unless he was absolutely positive he could get us the new roof, to which he said he was. We then filed the claim and set up the appointment for the adjuster to come out at the same time as the owner. We waited two weeks and then at the last minute, the owner of Midwest Stormtech says he mixed up his schedule and cancelled on us. We had to reschedule and wait another 2 weeks for them to both align and be out here at the same time. Well not only did we not get the new roof approved but when the he found out we weren't getting the insurance money, he bugged out without even stopping to discuss further options with us. This is what upset me the most. What he didn't know was that I could have paid for a new roof 20 times over out of my pocket if it came to it.

They had half our roof off and a torrential downpour came and ruined the ceilings upstairs. It's been over a month and our water damage isn't fixed because they subcontracted to a company and one of those guys tried to make unwanted sexual advances to me when my roommate left so they jobbed it out to another guy and he never finished the job and now the owner is dodging our calls. We're calling our lawyer and insurance company in the morning. Completely unprofessional and untrustworthy. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I tried to do those Mexican subcontractors a solid and not call the police for rubbing up on me in my own apt..because you know somebody on that crew was illegal- but now I think it's time I get the police involved, too. If the owner dares say any of this is a lie perhaps he should pick up his phone and quit hiding like a little girl.

John Scorfina and the midwest Stormtech crew were amazing, They gave us a great price and the roof looks amazing! They are a great company and very enjoyable with no pressure sales and free roof inspections. Definitally would give them a call.
