We are grateful to Midwest Roofing, Siding & Windows, Inc. for their professionalism and fantastic hands-on work during the roofing and guttering of our home. We also deeply appreciated Joe Arnold who oversaw the project which included many communications with our insurance company.

The roofers themselves did a good job and worked hard , although they started earlier than the city’s noise ordinance allows . The salesman we had ( Denny was his name, he was the sales guy who came to the house, I didn’t like him at all , he was pushy and not friendly, arrogant , and when I told him we wanted white downspouts as we’ve always had , he started arguing with me and trying to get us to switch to black downspouts,, it was weird ,, it’s our house and the color selections are our decisions., then we told the Denny we wanted to not have the roof done until the following spring because our dog was very sick with cancer and I didn’t want to cause her any stress from the noise , so we said we would call and schedule after she passed . He said ok and then 2 weeks later a guy calls and leaves a message and says they are going to be dropping off shingles and starting on the roof! Denny never gave them the info that we wanted it done the following spring. I called and told them no and that my dog is sick with cancer and I’m not putting on a roof until after she’s
passed . The communication is very poor with this company, I would not recommend using them,,

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Once the work started I was kept in the loop so I knew what was going on. The cleanup process was amazing. The 2 man crew that did my roof did a real thorough job and then Matt came out and checked the roof and also did a cleanup of the property too. I really appreciated that as I have a dog and was worried that there would be nails on the ground. S po thank you Midwest Exteriors dor doing a great job!

We would highly recommend Midwest Roofing and Siding. They are a top notch company; who was very responsive and worked with our insurance company to make it easy to get our repairs done after a bad storm in 2021. 10/10

My husband and I recently used Midwest to replace our roof after some bad hailstorms last year. Overall the experience was underwhelming. The first time we had one of their contractors come out, he inspected our siding, roof and garage. He was convinced we would get enough from our insurance claim to cover new siding, new garage and a new roof. He was scheduled to come back out and meet with our insurance adjuster and at the last minute canceled out for personal reasons. This would be the first of four times this contractor canceled appointments. He had a different reason each time. It was inconvenient and quite unreasonable to miss 4 scheduled appointments. Aside from that, he removed a piece of our siding so they could run it and see if it was still made or not. That piece was never returned to us. It also turned out we did not get enough from our claim to cover roof, siding and garage door. So now we have a gaping bare spot where they cut the siding off. The communication from the company themselves was poor. They did not keep us informed about the process and we had to contact them several times for updates. Communication from our assigned contractor was also poor. Roof installation seemed fine. I've no way of telling if the roof was put on correctly or not, but time will tell. I do not recommend Midwest for the afore mentioned reasons.

*Addendum. Jorian reached out to us regarding our experience and offered to work with us where the prior assigned contractor dropped off. He was very helpful and did get some movement with our insurance. He followed up and worked to keep us informed, so he gets 5/5 for sure. We did not end up getting all our siding replaced, or even a majority of it, but we did get a little. We had to pay out of pocket for part of it in end as it was just too exhausting trying fight with insurance. The issue wasn't just Midwest, it was our insurance, Statefarm as well. Statefarm nickel and dimed us on everything, but, I digress. Overall Midwest did redeem themselves a bit all thanks to Jorian. There were still issues, but Jorian at least tried, and I appreciate that. Based on his handling of the situation, updating review to 4/5 stars.

Cannot say enough good things. Everyone that we dealt with was incredibly responsive, punctual, and professional. They kept in good contact with us throughout the entire process, from initial inspection, through the re-roofing process, and after the project was complete. The crew that worked at our house was on time and efficient, and kept our property clean throughout the process. The speed and quality that they delivered was jaw-dropping! Our roof looks incredible and the process was quick and simple. The photos and documentation that they collected during the process made everything so easy to submit to our insurance company. Overall the process went better than ever expected. We hope to avoid future storm damage, but we know who to trust if the weather turns against us again.

Don't ask to come on neighbor property, when told to stay out, dont listen, damaged property and wont repair or replace broken items, crew relieving themselves next to home, neighbor had to clean up their yard even when roofing crew tried to clean up when neighbor was away , filled a complaint with the bbb but no response yet

Loved working with Midwest. They were friendly, prompt and professional. The crews they sent out were highly skilled and very polite and kind. Coordination with insurance and billing was seamless..just like the gutters

Josh from Midwest came out and inspected the house for hail damage. We had several people come out to discuss our project. Some we called, others contacted us. Most of them were interested in installing new shingles and working with the insurance company. Josh was the only one that took the time to understand what we wanted to do and was less concerned about what the insurance company wanted to cover. He was the only one that made me feel like I was more important than the insurance company. He gave me solid experienced advice on the things that concerned me. He wasn't just a salesman trying to sell me something, he knew his stuff. It was a complicated project because it involved three separate projects, the roof, the siding, and the gutters. The insurance would not cover all that we wanted done, and so Josh had to work through all the details and then explain it to me. The explaining part was the most difficult part because I don't know anything about these things. Josh was extremely patient and walked me through everything to my satisfaction. All of the other companies had a plan on what they wanted to do, but Josh really wanted to do what I wanted done.

The roof installation team was excellent, they came in as planned and did everything in a day. No issues and no problems with replacing the shingles. At Josh's suggestion they even installed some vents to help with air circulation in the attic. Wonderful job!

The siding team was tremendous. The other companies told me the siding project wouldn't happen until the spring. Josh said he thought they could get it done this year. He was right, they just finished the siding today. It snowed all of last week and it got really cold and windy on a couple of those days. The team delayed the project two days because of the snowy conditions but still were able to complete the project in 4 1/2 days despite the unfavorable weather conditions. I was told it would take five days if the conditions were favorable. This team was sensational, they knew what they were doing and they got in and got out. The end product is gorgeous. I was thinking we would have to sacrifice quality due to the harsh weather conditions. People aren't quite as fussy when working in tough weather conditions. I was wrong, quality was not sacrificed at all. The end product looks great. The team lead was Leo, I call him Leo the Legend. He used his super power tools to do amazing things. Most importantly, he is such a nice person. If I mentioned one or two little things, he listened to me and took care of it. There was no excuses or self defensiveness. Leo the legend and his team were truly super and legendary. Seriously, I would want this team working on all of my home projects. They really blew me away with their commitment to the job, their quality of work under difficult weather conditions, and their professionalism. Outstanding! Bravo! Tremendous!

The gutter project is next. They have a couple of tough acts to follow.

Midwest did an excellent job installing new shingles and gutters after hail and storm damage. Very meticulous with cleaning up after the jobs were done. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.

They did a great job on the siding! It looks great. Kenny kept me updated and the crew did a great job cleaning up and being sure everything was safe for my family and pets.

Midwest workers are the best. A large tree fell on our home and we needed chimney, roof and siding repair. MIdwest took care of it all, plus handled two insurance companies and all permits. Shout out to Denny who was at our house inspecting, just two hours after our call for help. Everyone who worked on our home was great to deal with. About 10 years ago we had one company do the siding then another do the roofing. We were not going to use either company ever again. I asked a neighbor who they used and it was Midwest. It will always be Midwest for us.

Jorian and the crew from Midwest delivered as promised. They showed up on time and worked effectively and efficiently completing the project in the time that was promised.....even after a rain delay. While here working I asked about replacing a couple of damaged shingles on adjacent cabin and that request was taken care of in short order. Outstanding job performance and would recommend to anyone. We will use again as roofs here need replacement. Thank you!

Cannot say enough about Midwest; they are fantastic! We had our roof and siding replaced and a skylight installed. Our salesman, Josh, our project manager, Matt, and Laine in the billing department were all amazing. They were with us every step of the way to answer all our questions and were always ready and willing to help us through the project in any way we needed (all with a smile on their faces and a great sense of humor!). The crews that did the work were always courteous and professional; and they did a fantastic job of cleaning up once the project was completed.

Midwest Roofing, Siding and Windows replaced the roofs on three of our townhouse association buildings. They were always responsive, efficient and organized. Hard working crews arrived by 7:00 each morning and worked for 12+ hours to finish one building each day. Everything was cleaned up thoroughly. We were very happy with the quality of work provided,

Avoid Midwest Roofing & Siding! They do not know how to install new roof, siding, gutters and down spouts properly, but still expect to be paid without fixing their mistakes. I even had to metal sweep for nails because they insisted their job was done, when it wasn't. There were birds making nests between house and roof shingles. Sales person Josh, made promises he could not keep. Billing was ballooned at end of project and threats of filing lien if not paid with all insurance money even if they did not do all the work. This company does not care about customer service. This company has no integrity and a contract they don't honor. Midwest's response to this review is completely inaccurate. They continue to defend their bad contract and lies.

He was prompt, friendly and communicated with me extremely well during the entire process. He diagnosed the issue, explained things extremely well, offered several options to resolve it and was extremely transparent about both cost and short/long term benefits - meaning the most costly fix wasn't necessarily the one that made the most sense. He also pointed out another potential issue that wasn't even part of the service call but could be an issue down the road (something that was installed incorrectly by the prior owner). Issue was resolved quickly and at an extremely reasonable cost. I would recommend this firm to anyone with a roofing issue or desiring a new roof. World-Class customer service!

Midwest reroofed my house in early November 2021. The company far exceeded my expectations. From Joe the estimator, the scheduler and on-site foreman all were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The crew was super efficient. Clean-up was great. Can’t say enough good things. I would certainly recommend Midwest to anyone.

I want to send a big thank you to Josh, Matt, and Fidel at Midwest. Great experience all around. We recently used Midwest for some new vinyl siding. Josh was on time, really responsive to all my questions throughout the process, and put together a competitive bid. He also came out after it was completed to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction - great follow up! Matt was our project manager and after working with some other outfits I can't tell you how nice it is to have someone there to oversee the install process and discuss any issues that arise. We received great communication from him as well. Lastly, Fidel and his crew did a fantastic job. Showed up before sunrise, worked 'til suset, and on Saturday too. It was so nice to see they were trying their best to get the job done in a timely manner. Also, truly impressed with the fascia and soffits - they look spectacular. I believe in giving praise to a job well done and I would use them again.

From sale to final inspection, so timely, professional and great service. Crew was conscientious and quick. Cleaned up like they had never been here. Roof looks absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Excellent experience. From the representatives in the office, to the sales rep and the roofing team. Everyone along the way with Midwest was intelligent and good at what they do. My house was up for sale and the roof needed to be replaced 2 different sales fell through. I received a low ball offer to sell it as is but thought I could get a better offer with a new roof. Midwest replaced the roof less than 3 weeks from my initial call and it would have been 2 if we didn’t have a rain storm. I got the house back on the market. Including the reasonable cost of the new roof I made an extra 8k on the sales of this home because of Midwest. Thank you for saving the day!!!!

Our roof suffered wind damage. We used Greg from Midwest Roofing after our insurance company's adjuster stated we did not need a new roof. Greg got on the roof with the adjuster and showed him the damage. The insurance company agreed and wrote the check. We have a great new roof from Midwest Roofing. We are very happy. Our neighbors are impressed, too. Thank you, Greg and thank you Midwest Roofing.

I hired Midwest to redo the siding on my house and am super happy with the results. The customer service and professional work standard from start to finish were amazing: Denny (who did the estimate), to Matt (Project Manager) and Benjamin and his crew - I can't thank you enough and I appreciate all of your hard work!

They replaced the shingles on my roof which were old and in need of replacement. Additionally, our neighborhood had hail damage late last summer / early fall and many neighbors had hail damage also. I wanted to work with a local company and chose Midwest and I felt they did a good job. I was pleased with their work and it was a very warm day (almost 100 degrees) outside. Last fall, my roof was leaking. At that time, Midwest was unable to install a new roof because of the weather. They sent a crew over to cover the leaking portion with a tarp for the winter at no charge, as I signed a contract with them to have the house re-roofed this spring.

Two weeks ago, Midwest removed the old roofing and installed a new roof on the house and garage in one day. It looks beautiful! The cost was very close to the estimate; just a little over because some of the decking needed replacing.

The crew did a very thorough clean-up job and I found no nails anywhere on my property!

We Worked with Midwest for windows and siding replacement and couldn’t have been more pleased. The communication with all parties was excellent. They showed up when they said they would and coordinated all activities (dumpster, product and labor) all within 30 minutes of each other! Their staff was hard working and professional. Work was completed efficiently and with quality. So happy we went with this company and will consult with them again if the need arises.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are very rough when installing a roof! They caused several cracks and separations on the drywall on the ceiling that were not there before the roof was installed. I have had many roofs installed and I have never had any cracks or separation of the drywall. I recently had the drywall repaired in the bedroom where the crack and separation occurred due to Ice dams so I can prove the damage was not there. When I showed them the pictures they said that can happen and they are not responsible. Terrible, they should own up to their mistakes! Do not use this company!

Good overall experience with Midwest for an exterior painting project. Painters were nice and easy to work with and end result was good.

They did a bad job, left me with standing water problems, and only wanted to help me (but not really after I contacted the BBB). Do yourself a favor and find another company that cares about the outcome, and not the upfront payment. Update - 8 years later. Yes, I was a customer! Maybe you should have responded 8 years ago when I posted this. I had to pay another company to fix your work and add another downspout. Poor work!
