Unfortunately, I’ve had the same issues as most of you. Damaged property, incomplete work, and ongoing issues with my roof and the lack of accountability from this company has been deeply frustrating. Despite previous attempts to resolve the matter, I’ve now retained an attorney due to continued problems. If anyone else has experienced similar issues and is interested in joining me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s important we hold companies to a higher standard. Poor Communication, Damaged Property, and Incomplete Work

I deeply regret hiring this roofing company. My experience mirrors the numerous negative reviews I've since discovered about their questionable business practices and project abandonment.

After making my deposit in October, I waited over four weeks with zero communication about when they would start the roof installation. My voicemails went unanswered, leaving me in the dark about the project's status. The lack of response and mounting evidence of similar complaints from other customers led me to contact my bank about the charge.

Out of the blue one day I return home after work to find my roof has been removed, an left it that way for a full week. Their crew carelessly handled my property, damaging my Traeger grill by breaking the front leg and the hopper. Even worse, their sloppy cleanup left roofing nails scattered around my property, resulting in two separate tire repairs.

I strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere for their roofing needs. The combination of poor communication, property damage, and unprofessional conduct makes this company impossible to recommend.

Not professional at all my deck looks horrible got stain all over my siding and they never made it right to fix the stain job on my deck or replaced my door also won't fix my shingle the gutter guys ripped up do not recommend them at all save your money don't pay them till job is done

After a hail storm destroyed our roof, Midwest Restorations came knocking. And I'm glad they did. While they were getting the roof estimate done for our insurance claim, I asked them to give me a quote for siding and gutters for our house and garage. They worked with our insurance company on the hail damage, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for all the extra non insurance work. Over the last 3 years, we'd gotten quotes for siding and gutters from other contractors, but they were so high we simply couldn't justify what they were asking. Midwest restoration had everything completed in short order and we're very pleased with the outcome.

Excellent company to work with & do business with. Work was done within a few days & my roof looks great. Had a great experience from beginning to end.

We choose to have a metal roof installed on our home. We were pleased with the crew we had on site. They drove from the Omaha area and arrived every day at the same time and put in a good days work!!. There were several leaks in the current roof, but since the new metal roof was installed we have had a few really solid storms with no leaks found in the new roof!!

I have a very positive experience with Mark of Midwest Restoration company, the communication has always been open and the level of expectations upfront. His team have already completed the roof project and will be working on the sliding project soon.

Siding was completed about 1 week after the roofing job, everything went soothly, the contractors also communicated with me about my cox cable that connected to the house. The process was quickly becasue of open communication between the company Midwest, his contrators and me.

Did a great job. My house looks beautiful. Did a great job on my roof. Cleaned up well. Very good crew. If your thinking of doing any home improvements MWR is the company to go with.

They did a complete tear off and new shingles on my house quick and precise. The workers were polite and courteous and I am very happy with their work.

Great experience with this company. Thanks for the help with my insurance claim and new roof. We had some shingles blow off last week that had ended had time to seal. Called Midwest out the next day to fix the shingles. thanks. Had Ac Units installed they came back immediately and installed new holes for pipes. thanks again.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Midwest Restorations for a much-needed roof replacement, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their services. From start to finish, the team exhibited professionalism,skill, and a sincere desire to do their best. First and foremost there was perfect communication through the whole process. The staff at Midwest restorations kept me up-to-date on the project from the first meeting to the end and they answered any concerns and questions I had quickly and completely. When it came to the actual work, I was thoroughly impressed by the skill efficiency of the roofing crew they arrived on time, worked diligently and completed the project within the promised timeframe. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Midwest Restorations.

Signed a contract with this company over a year ago. They seemed like very nice people and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's been a year and no word from them. They were quick about starting on my roof, but never finished. No reasons were given as to why. Their crew accidentally broke my light socket and when we told them they said they would send someone to check it out and never did. I managed to replace it myself. The part of the roof that they didn't replace is leaking. I finally got a hold of them after all this time and was told they would stop by to talk to me about the unfinished work and this is the second day they haven't shown up or call letting me know they couldn't make it. They lack communication. I feel like they took my money and ran off with it. It's pretty frustrating. I would like to know what's going on.

I contracted with Midwest Restorations on November 10, 2021 and they cashed my deposit check of $600.00. However, the refuse to take or return my voicemails. I have requested my money back so I can find a company who will actually do the work and return my calls. Extremely disappointed - since they won't return my calls I assume they will not return my deposit either and will need to turn to small claims court. Shame on Midwest Restorations for their fraudulent behavior.

Company took $3,300 deposit, in August 2019. Said crew would do work in 4-6 weeks. After many calls, someone came out at the beginning of November. Some construction work, including replacing the skylight, had to be done before the roof was sealed. November is too late in the year to be ripping up a flat roof, in Nebraska. Beings we had to call repeatedly to get someone out, we didn’t trust that we would get quality service. So, we wanted our deposit back. After going through BBB, and the Attorney General, and the company saying they would reimburse us our deposit, we still have not received our deposit. We have since heard this company is terrible! Wish I knew that sooner. Now, taking them to small claims court.

Spent 20k+ for a roofing job. After all said and done the mess left behind i had to dispose of. Know not a year later the roof has leaks. I have called several time to get them to check it out. I am still trying with no luck , its been two months and counting. Not even a call back. I feel i was totally taken for a ride. I would never recomend this bussiness by there customer service alone

A disaster hit our home, leaving holes in our roof and siding. We called Midwest Restorations and they showed up in less than 24 hours. It was the quickest response and the best roofing work we have seen in the roofing industry. Thank you Midwest Restorations.

Missed first scheduled appointment and blamed overnight rain, second appointment covered skylights in garage instead of skylights on house they were supposed to, had to go buy plywood to cover the skylights on house and wanted too thin plywood so not my roof has sagging spots and someone is going to fall through if they walk on the roof. supposed to have gutters replaced on the second day and no one showed up, called and was told that is usually 3 weeks after the roof, o I have no gutters on my garage for 3 weeks, poor contact and communication, will not recommend them in the future. Once they get the check you are not a priority.

Bill did an awesome job on getting the insurance adjuster out and walking through everything with getting the new roof. After them roof and gutters were done the crews left an absolute mess and have not been out to clean up or install the bath fan I had paid for (It's been a month since they said they would come out to finish everything up). I have called the office plenty of times with no one picking up the phone, nor calling me back when I leave a voicemail.

Lead man was very disorganized and forgetful leading to rework around trying to coordinate tearing a chimney down with replacing the roof. Took months to schedule gutter replacement and chimney and when they showed up without any kind of notice. When they finally replaced the gutters they didnt replace fascia boards leaving it to look like a garbage. The subcontractor they hired to tear dow my chimney threw bricks on the bare yard and didnt clean up the mess. In the end I have a new roof that isn't leaking but it was not worth the hassle and months of waiting and now the fascia boards that need redone.

If I could give no stars I would!! They screwed my family over on our roof!! The roof looks terrible and we tried going after them but they hide everything they own!! They are crooks! DO NOT USE THEM. They never showed up to court when my parents went after them. They have aliases so they can hide and not get found. There’s a lot more that I’m pretty sure my parents will be leaving a review soon!

Had roof, siding and gutters installed. Terrible experience. Took over a year and the job was still left incomplete.

Left garbage, nails, window weights, all the metal trimmings, soda cans, old insulation and garbage littered around the entire perimeter of my house. 8-10 cracked pieces of siding installed and left as is. One wall of the house was the wrong color and had to be immediately replaced. Installed a sun setter awning that fell down and damaged the siding the next day. Never called once to say they were coming, just showed up out of the blue every time. Cracked my radon fan and failed to notify me, just slapped it back up and tried to hide it. Took cover off outdoor outlet and did not replace, took off porch lights and didn't replace for 6 months, took doorbell off and never replaced it. Didn't properly connect any of the outdoor electrical boxes to the siding. All gutters ran incorrectly. All gutters drilled only into the drip edge with no fascia board installed. Multiple downspouts hanging 5+ inches off of the ground with little support. Insulation showing through the siding throughout the house. 1 J channel used on inside corners. Just absolute shoddy work. Don't hire them. Don't sign their contracts. These are not all the photos from the inspections. Just a few. The response to this review is incorrect. My name isn't Riley, and that inspector found 1100 worth of shoddy work right after the job was complete. This doesn't take into account the aspects of the work that were left unfinished due to the complete lack of a succinct contract. They were supposed to flash off the edge of my garage and fix the minor cracks in my garage siding. I also asked them to fix their work, and he flat out refused. I had to fight tooth and nail just to have them replace the 1 side of the house that WASN'T THE SAME SIDING. I don't think quality work that was just finished should entail a 1100 repair bill upon completion. Literally the definition of sub par work.

Customer service starts good, until they get you to commit to a contract.

Our initial roofing contractor disappeared/flaked on us so we called Midwest Restorations. The general contractor came out a couple days later and he seemed friendly and professional. He had the image that he was there to protect us as homeowners and guaranteed we would be well taken care of.

The siding crew showed up the very next day to get started on the house. As they started the project, the realized there was stucco underneath the old siding. The general foreman told us that because of the stucco, the renovation was going to take a lot longer then expected, which I understood and accepted the fact.

Once the house was done, I did a walk around and pointed out a couple discrepancies to Midwest in the work. One siding section was already cracked, and the crew didnt bother to install siding in a small area above the back door. Their claim is that there wasn't aiding there to begin with, which is false as we have pictures proving otherwise. I was told that these issues, along with others, would be corrected. I gave a courtesy call about a week later to see that status on the repair order. They assured me it would be done as the siding was special ordered and was already placed, along with being top priority on their list. They also said that I don't need to call back, that they would call me with an update.

At the time of this review, it's been two weeks since that call and I haven't heard from them. I was debating on calling them again before posting this, but they also gave me their word that I would be hearing from them again soon, which I haven't.

The overall work on the house and garage look great. But I took away 2 stars due to the lack of communication on their part. I understand they may be busy, but being "at the top of their list", I don't know.

Awful Service! I was told by the owner that the 6 month wait that I had been patient for was not his problem. I was told that I can wait because he has 300,000 in damage to deal with and i am not at the top of his list. He then yelled at me and hung up on me. I have never had such terrible service.
