Middletown Roofing replaced the roof over our house and on our garage. We could not be more pleased with their quality of work and service. We extensively researched many roofing companies online, small and large, and received several quotes. Middletown Roofing offered extremely high-quality materials and work, but at a substantial a lower price. Online, we read many times what an honest person Roman and his crew are, and this was our experience 100%.

Roman was extremely involved in all stages of the process and highly familiar with the details of the job. It took us ~2 months from the time we received the estimate until the time the work was done (due to gathering other quotes). When the crew arrived, even the tiniest details--which we had described to Chris when receiving a quote months earlier--were very carefully attended to, and Roman had full knowledge of them all. If ever there was a change or an update, Roman called to keep us updated and shared photos so we could understand what he was seeing. For example, we had some rotted decking etc. that required replacing, and Roman communicated very clearly about this in advance. (We expected this given that the house is 100 year old, and some of the boards forming the eaves overhang were visibly reduced to ~50-60% of their original width.)

The extent of communication was just one example of Roman's thoroughness. Roman holds himself and his crew to the highest standards of work. Roman believes in using high quality materials that will last, and he offers these without markup or price increases. He prefers to use high quality materials because he believes in standing by the job he has done. As another example, his company was the only one to suggest additional precautionary measures (like adding extra ice and water shield in especially prone areas). The extra layer provides an important additional layer of protection in areas that had previously been the sources of leaks.

Roman's team was extremely efficient, and when the job was done, the yard (and all areas around our house) were impeccably clean. Our neighbor told us that he continued to find roofing debris for 10 years after his roof was replaced. My wife and I scoured our yard, and found virtually no debris whatsoever.

The replacement was covered by insurance, and less than 24 hours after the job was finished, our insurance company had a copy of the final invoice and supplements. The very next day, Roman spoke on the phone with our claims specialist to explain the nature of the supplements. Again, his quick turnaround, his extensive knowledge of the job, and his meticulous attention to detail shined through.

Working with someone who is honest and who we could trust made all the difference in the world. It eased our anxieties associated with replacing the roof--which is one of the most important parts of any house. We are stunned by the quality of work and level of service we have received at a price that is substantially lower than comparable companies. We are absolutely thrilled with the work that Middletown Roofing has done, and we have already begun recommending them to our neighbors, family, and friends. We'll be returning to them for all future roofing needs and feel extremely fortunate to have had such a positive experience.

Middletown Roofing repaired my leaking roof window for $450. It did not work - it continued to leak. I contacted them shortly afterwards and was told they do not warranty repair work.

The representative then gave a quote regarding this same leak. He told me a replacement was the only solution for $1200+ and they do NOT warranty their work for ANY period of time! He said NO company in the area offers a warranty.

I contacted a competitor who repaired the shingles around the existing roof window for $175 including a 60 day warranty. It’s been over 60 days with plenty of rain and no leaks!

Middletown Roofing came highly recommended by a friend, even with this I wanted to get two additional estimates. Of the three estimates, Middletown was the only company that came out on time and delivered the estimate in the time frame they said they would. Marco was extremely professional and able to answer all of my questions quickly. My roof was completed on schedule and looks great! I would recommend their services to anyone who asked!

This Company has done our roof work for many many years. I can't say enough good things about the owner and his crew. Communication is great. The work is high quality and best off all their clean up is stellar.

I would give 0 stars if I could. They completed my roof in 2015. Middletown Roofing was by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. The owner is rude, disrespectful and downright mean. I have and will continue to tell all friends and family to steer clear of this company. Buyer beware if you so choose to use their services. I also am still finding their trash throughout my lawn and landscaping. Extremely unprofessional!!! They only have 3.5 stars because they review themselves to up the average. 4 out of 8 reviews are a 1. Not counting the 9th review as it came from Middletown Roofing themselves. An untrustworthy and sketchy way to do business. Imagine trusting them to work on your home...

Needed a 3-4 ft piece of siding replaced on my 2nd floor. Marcos (same guy who gave a four star review below) came to my house and gave me an estimate of $300. I thought the estimate was too much, but agreed to it. Afterwards, he emailed me an invoice with a estimate much higher. When I questioned, he responded that his guys wanted more. What a rip.

Middletown roofing and windows installed a new shingled roof for me just a few weeks ago. With the help of the company, we have been watching the deterioration of my roof for a few years now. Finally we both agreed it was time to replace my shingles. I received a timely estimate with several selections of the colors I could choose from. Middletown roofing allowed myself and my wife to make the selection. Middletown roofing used the highest quality of shingle on the market. I found the company to be patient with us and most helpful as we made our selections. I was very impressed when my gutters were inspected and found to be sound and was not recommended to replace them but to save my money until it was needed. This shows their integrity.
The company did extensive work on my venting system on the roof, which now is far more efficient and attractive.
I found the company to be honest, timely, professional, and very accommodating with our schedule. The cost of the roof was very fair and within the same guidelines of other roofers who provided me with estimates., I believe they are the best around and I am sure you too will be pleased with their workmanship and costs.

We have used them before and we thought they did a good job, but on this last job I am very unhappy. I wondered why I had this leak in the gutter under my deck.....found out that the roofers left all their trash and left over stuff in the gutter. I first thought maybe it was the previous owners, but then I thought well if that was the case Middletown Roofing would have said something or removed it, but that was not the case.....even pulled out a full water bottle....not finished yet still pulling out nails,shingles, and plastic........VERY UNHAPPY

After a series of severe weather ravaged our area the spring of 2012, my home suffered extensive wind, and hail damage (not to mention windows, screens, automobiles, shed). Middletown Roofing installed the previous roof prior to my purchasing the home in 2008. The roof was approximately 10 years old when this series of storms blew through (a part of the Henryville system).
Middletown Roofing worked excellently with State Farm Ins. to install a replacement roof, and even worked in upgrade 3-D shingles.
Was very pleased with the price, installation, and employees who completed the work. Would recommend, and definitely would use them in the future should this home or any future purchase require roof work or replacement.

Parker and his team were great -- they were very responsive, got me on the schedule quickly and were very helpful with all my questions. Highly recommend (and the roof was great!)

Beware of Middletown Roofing! Unprofessional management, poor workmanship, and NO WARRANTY.

We had them out to repair some flashing and caulk a window and the workmanship was very sloppy. They used much larger pieces than we had elsewhere because he was just covering up the old work. When I questioned it, the only response I received was “is more better”. 6 months later it started leaking, damaging our newly repaired ceiling. I called them back and they found that the caulking had failed at the top of the flashing leaving a gap. When quoting the job they stated they would grind out the mortar of the brick joints and tuck the flashing in, apparently that had not happened. I asked that they redo the job and they said the receipt I signed stated NO WARRANTY. I pushed the issue and they then stated they couldn’t redo it because they no longer work with the person who did the install. What? Are they just sub-contracting out the work and keeping the profit? I pushed some more and they must have found their man because he was back out to try again, more sloppy work, nails left behind for my kids to find, and 3 months later leaking again! This time they said it may be the window above with no caulking. You mean the one that we paid to have caulked on the original work order? Apparently it never happened! I was fed up and asked for a refund, they again said I signed a contract that said NO WARRANTY. I pushed some more and they finally offered to refund the cost of the caulking that never got put on, ten whole bucks. Thanks but no thanks.

Middletown Roofing did a great job on my roof! The service was very prompt and professional and they worked well my insurance company. The crew left my property so clean and tidy that if I had not seen them doing the work, I would have thought the roof fairies had come and lowered a new roof on my house and garage.
