This is the second time I have order materials thru Metal Roof Specialties. Both times they have been very helpful. Always there to answer questions and the displays in the showroom are very helpful especially when I was roofing my house and had to flash my chimney. Jed was my last order taker specialist and he was fantastic! My materials came out perfect! I hope this was my last order for a roof but if it isn’t I will be back!

Been in the metal building industry 20 years as an installer so don’t buy much but Jerry, Haley, and Kelly always treat us first class when we do need trim or supplies.

When we call it’s because we are are scrambling to finish a project and no matter how small or rushed the order is they treat us as if we are their most important customer.

These guys really know their product and were able to deliver material no one else in the area could. Our order arrived ahead of promised delivery, in perfect condition, exactly as ordered. As a contractor, they are now my first stop for metal roofing.

I replaced the low single slope roof on my 30x40 shop completely diy, and they walked me through the process to ensure I had the necessary tools and details figured out. All the materials arrived well packaged. I'm coming back for the house next!

We have worked with Metal Roof Specialties three times on our home remodel. Each time they have had the best pricing, with the highest level of customer service and support of any of our vendors. On the latest, the order was too small for the mfg to deliver, so Metal Roof Specialties drove it up to West Seattle themselves!! Amazing! Top tier, would recommend, five stars!

I worked with them when I lived in Tacoma and I am still working with them now that I live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I struggled finding a place where I could get replacement panels for my damaged metal building. That was until I contacted Metal Roof Specialties. They were not only able to answer my questions but were able to get the materials I needed to complete the repairs. The staff was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Haley was my main point of contact and was super helpful. She is definitely a keeper. While I don't anticipate any more metal repairs, Metal Roof Specialties will be the first place I contact should future repairs be necessary. The experience working with MRS was delightful.

We try to install metal roofing on all our projects. A once in a lifetime job. On a simple roof Metal roofing specialties will include everything you need to roof your house. Excellent customer service and will rent you a trailer if delivery isn't available in your area. Highly recommend!

It may be a drive from where you are but you can save yourself a lot of trouble by ordering metal roofing from these folks. This seems to be one of those very well run small businesses that are a pleasure to do business with.

I'm DIY'ing a small off-grid cabin on Vashon Island and bought a complete kit from Metal Roof Specialties. I worked with Kelly, who was exceptionally helpful in going through various panel options, finishes, and pricing, and helped me get exactly the look I was after. I installed everything in a single weekend (even with having never done a metal roof before), and could not be happier with the result. Will be going back to do more business with them when I need a roof for my storage shed and bunk house and highly recommend them.

Can't recommend this place enough. I reached out to Haley with a question about the metal roof in the house we had just bought. We were originally looking for someone to come out and take a look at it, but with Haley's incredible guidance, we were able to address the issue on our own (and learned ALOT about our metal roof in the process). Not only was she helpful, but she made the time to circle back around to me to check on how things were going. Highly highly recommend.

I am a general contractor, I work almost exclusively on residential projects. I was contacted about a very large steel building repair that included several thousand square feet of replacement siding and roofing I called metal roof specialties for an estimate on materials. I gave the rough dimensions to Jerry and he asked me what the address was so he could look it up, and within a minute of hanging up Jerry called right back and told me that based on his measurements that he had gotten off of Google Earth that my square footage was off. Jerry help me figure out the correct material square footage, even though it was totally my miscalculation, and when his estimate came several days later, not only the sheet metal, but it included every screw, trim ,caulking sealant, everything just based on an initial square foot from him looking it up on Google Earth and it was spot on. This was all taking place at the same time there were materials shortages staffing shortages etc I was kind of in a time crunch to get started and they did not have a delivery person available so Jerry,the owner, took time out of his day,and brought all my material over and delivered it to me personally. Not only was I impressed with their materials but with this sheer absolute professionalism kindness and friendliness of all of their staff I cannot recommend these guys enough.

My experience with this company is so totally positive. I live in Kitsap County and had a rather unusual issue occur with my metal roof. I could not get a roofing company here to even come and look at the problem as they all refuse to repair metal roofs. One roofer did tell me to call Metal Roof Specialties in Fife for information. I did this and spoke to Jerry Iselin, the owner, who proved to be SO helpful. He had me send him photos of the problem plus he looked at a satellite view of my roof for clarification. He then told me why the problem occurred and worked out a solution from the ASC installation guide and included the explicit instructions from the guide in his email. Plus, it was an easy fix! The only reason he did this was to help someone in need; he did not charge me for his time. I am just so grateful to him.

Everyone else in the office was extremely accommodating any time I called in, although I worked almost exclusively with Haley. She gave me an initial estimate based on a satellite view, and then recommended a contractor to use who she advised would take the final measurements.

I've had several requests, and questions regarding the warranty and installation of the product and received answers within 24-48 hours.

While I trust our contractor, I have no idea what goes into making sure everything is done properly, and it is one of the biggest investments I have made in our home, so being able to send her some pictures of concerns I had with the installation and having a 2nd opinion from an expert (And the company that is providing the warranty!) really set me at ease.

I would highly recommend working with this group on future projects!

4/2/2021 - We still could not be happier with our roof. We are now renting the house out and have no concerns about ever having to worry about the roof. It also still looks amazing 3 years later with pretty much no maintenance/cleaning required despite being surrounded by trees.

I had such a positive experience at Metal Roof Specialties. I am a first time tiny house builder and I went in very intimidated about choosing and installing my roof. Everyone was incredibly helpful and made sure I got exactly what I wanted at the best price. They have a great selection of products and are very thorough with giving the information you need to install it yourself. You can see they really care about their customers!

I received some corrugated metal to use on the exterior of my garage near my garden. I love the way it turned out, and cannot wait to add more metal to the exterior of my home! Such a fun and unique product, and it adds such character when used as siding. I will for sure be purchasing from this company again. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend them to anyone with metal interests!

Metal Roof Specialties provided us with all the corrugated metal when we did a remodel of our gift store. We used it for our cash wrap, hallway and front window steps, and it turned out fantastic! We also got a custom counter top cover made from metal that can be used like a white board, which is pretty cool! We installed this a few years ago and we still get comments on how awesome it looks almost daily.

I recently finished an 8 month long project, a complete remodel of a commercial building built in 1976. Metal Roof Specialties was so much help that I don't know how I could have done it without them. Jerry and his staff supplied the exterior metal and helped with contractors and other specialists that were essential to the project. My 39 year old business now has a truly awesome facility. I couldn't be more pleased to work with such a professional company.

I am refurbishing a home built about 1935 in Olympia, WA that has a fairly new corrugated metal roof I matched for an addition and some alterations of the existing roof, including roof anchors for safety. The folks at Metal Roof Specialties have been a great help identifying the source of the original metal roof plus they fabricated custom trim details that also match the existing roof. They were a One-Stop shop for all the installation parts plus they shared safety tips with me regarding how to work on a metal roof when I need to clean it in the future.

They were very responsive, detailed and accurate when they provided their bid. Their order lead time was very reasonable and fairly accurate, when the product manufacturer had a slight delay they made me aware of the change immediately. I have been very happy with their service and plan to use them again whenever I have a need for metal roofing.

Simply the best metal roof shop in the area. Not only do they have the best in metal roofing products, but they are friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and personable.

As a DIYer with no metal roofing experience, I was a little intimidated at tackling an entire re-roof on my old house. I honestly would not have felt as confident going into my project without the experts at Metal Roof Specialties. They ordered all the right materials, answered all my questions, and even helped design custom reglet flashing for where the roof meets my stucco house.

I just purchased a new metal "standing seam" roof for my detached garage/shop from Metalroof Speacilties. I decided to install myself with some friends helping. The experience with purchase, quick delivery, tech. assist during install, and even a "emergent custom flashing order" at last minute during install, went excellent! I had very limited experience with metal roofs, and wanted to save the install money. Jerry was excellent at fielding all my multiple "question" calls throughout the entire process. Hailey was very friendly and helpful as well! Jerry even helped me out by loaning me some tools for a couple things so I didnt have to purchase/rent them! NOWHERE do I EVER get that kind of help/customer service. Thanks so much MRS! Very happy with the end product, and nice to have "piece of mind" that I wont ever have to worry about the roof again! Def. going to get a bid from them on doing the house roof soon too!

Seems like a pretty straight forward process. Contacted them, we arranged a day 10 or so days out where they would come by at a set time in the morning to do an estimate. You would think business would be interested in business in this economy (2009). There I sat.. for an hour waiting... they never showed, never called, didn't email. Flat no-show. I'm done with them.
Save your money for a company that has an inkling of customer service. With this first impression, what might happen when it comes to putting the roof on?
