Merrill painting

He did a nice painting job on the walls & ceilings. We have an open floor plan and it really brightened the space up. Impressed with how efficient and professional he treated the project. We would contract Merrill again without hesitation. Thank you Buddy.

I do not recommend doing business with Buddy Merrill of Merrill Painting. He received over 3k for a contracted painting project deposit in the spring of 2021 and has never returned to start or complete my project. We gave him multiple chances to make things right, but he only gave excuses and false promises. The deposit was never returned and services were never provided. He has committed fraud to us and many other people by his deception.

Robert (Buddy) Merrill is con artist. Do NOT do business with this guy. He sells painting supplies and fishing gears on facebook. Two other buyers and I purchased fishing reels from him and he never sent them, completely blocked us as well. Judging from reviews from the internet about his business, he been been conning folks' hard earned money for awhile now.

Dishonest and won't provide what he promises. As a consumer I would not enter into any business transaction with Buddy Merrill.

As a response to you. I never received the reel I purchased. And the funny thing is you knew exactly what this was about, which I never even mentioned in the review. You also blocked me so I can't communicate with you through the appropriate channels, you brought this upon yourself. Return my money and I'll delete the review.

Robert is Extremely knowledgeable about the painting process and great at communicating. Our home looks amazing thanks to Robert and his dedicated crew. I highly recommend Merrill painting!!!

Buddy did a great job repainting our entire interior this spring. He was very professional and easy to communicate with. He brought a lot of experience to the job that we valued greatly. The finished product looks beautiful!

Tried to use Merrill Painting 1.5 years ago. He took 2/3 my money and did less than 1/4 of the work. He claimed he was waiting for my other contractor to finish other elements of the renovation even though I told him he had space and opportunity to work. When all other work was done, he kept saying he would come on specific days and times and never showed up, I called and left messages for him and he kept saying he would show up on specific dates and would not call and would never show up (this happened about 6 times over 3 months. One time he claimed he came and "twisted" his knee and had to go home, no work done. We have security cameras on the property and no such event took place. I was waiting for this work to be done in order to rent out the property and told him he was hindering me renting the property at this point. His excuses, when I did get ahold of him, included him being sick, a family member was sick, his back gave out, his worker had to get the covid vaccine and couldn't work, he twisted his knee, his wife wasn't feeling well, etc. I told him twice that I didn't like the way he spoke to me and he responded with he would finish the project when "it was convenient for him", completely unprofessional. We broke ties and had to pay someone else "Dirk Home Solutions" who was amazing but this cost us additional money. DO NOT work with Merrill painting, I now see he is being sued and I hope anyone reading this dodges a bullet!

CANNOT RECOMMEND – PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME IF YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY THIS GUY -- TWO HAVE CONTACED ME SO FAR. Merrill took my deposit in April 2020 ! Asked for more money in June 2021 ! , Does not respond to email or phone calls, never shows up , house still not painted ! Hope he stays in business long enough to a least get my deposit back!

I gave them a deposit to stain my house 1 1/2 years ago. And nothing, they don't return my phone calls, nor my emails - multiple times, I've lost count how many times I've called and emailed. I did get my money back. So my main complaint is a lack of communications. Sending multiple emails, leaving multiple voice messages and not getting a response is not how to run a business. I know these are difficult times and I'm more than willing to wait for my turn, but, even though it's a pain, you need to maintain communications.

Bud was great to work with. He was responsive and started our project right away and completed it quickly. He worked with us to tailor the project to meet our budget and was flexible throughout the project to accommodate additional work we wanted to have done and was very communicative about cost before proceeding with our add-ons. Super impressed and we plan to work with him again in the future.

Buddy was great. He came both in time and in budget, a rarity these days. We’ve hired him for more work. That says it all.

Robert did a wonderful job for us on the interior of our home. He was fast and professional. He and his worker were very neat. Prices very reasonable.
I plan to hire him for a second round in a few weeks.
And then again in the spring fir some outdoor projects.

Buddy Merrill did an OUTSTANDING job for us on the Brownsville Community Church in West Windsor, VT. Our 180 year old building needed lots of love and attention, and Buddy did fantastic work...from the highest point of the spire right down to the foundation. He communicated clearly and regularly throughout the whole project. His attention to detail and quality of work truly set him apart, and all at a fair price. I would hire Merrill Painting again for any painting project!

I asked Bud to complete a painting project that I was not able to complete myself due to the location of the last section. He communicated with me about the project right away and we worked out the logistics so the project could be completed in less than one day. On the day we reserved, he arrived on time and we talked about how the patching and painting would be completed. There was no disturbance in our day whatsoever and the work was excellent. I highly recommend.

Buddy is a hard worker, who was able to assist us on extremely short notice for a large job. He performed great quality work at a fair price! He painted our kitchen cabinets, which came out beautifully and the interior walls and trim of our home. He was also eager to assist us with other projects that arose throughout our renovation, and if he couldn’t help, he assisted us in finding someone who could!
I highly recommend his painting skills and eagerness to get your job done as soon as possible!

Buddy was professional, timely, honest, and went above and beyond when painting 5 of our interior room walls, ceiling, and trim. And he did an amazing job painting our intricate crown molding. Would highly recommend to any of our friends or family!

Buddy (the owner) of Merrill Painting was amazing from start to finish. He was always polite, respectful, and on time. Most importantly, his work was GREAT quality and for a good price. (Including crown molding in two of the rooms)

I would highly suggest this company to any of my friends and family looking for quality painting or staining.
