Medomak Construction

Major framed addition in 2017-2018 to ninety year-old log cabin: two bedrooms, one bath, new kitchen, deck, porch, laundry room, activity room. Complicated excavation of yard and pouring of foundation on top of ledge. Many special design elements were required to enhance aesthetics of existing two bedroom, one bath cabin. Used fir flooring and mix of nickle-gap and drywall for the walls and ceilings in a manner that was consistent with the "feel" of the original log house. Job also called for all new appliances and HVAC.

Medomak was able to do the entire job with its own experienced, versatile and friendly staff and subcontractors. A job like this requires extensive amount of collaboration with home owners regarding fixtures, colors, materials, etc. Medomak was excellent in accommodating our needs, including mid-course changes that are typical of big jobs, as well as making occasional recommendations for cost-saving changes to the original plan.

Had Medomak Construction doing work for us before the new management change, they were really good then and I will admit, they are much better now!
They do what they say they are going to do and their crew's a polite and easy to work with.

We discovered Medomak in a round about way. They came right out, quoted a fair price and met their time and price schedule.
Since then we have used them on several much larger renovations to our 1840 house, which has occasionally provided some surprises. They have always worked to provide a cost effective solution and followed through.
Although we are pretty much done with any major work, there is no doubt they will be our "go to" contractor as needed in the future. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and pleasant to deal with.
