Got a quote for grading concrete and building, was trying to get final details for inspector, rented a storage unit to clean out my existing building this one would be replacing, then get informed they can no longer do grading and concrete. The building inspector said my existing pad could be doweled to another pad with footers. But they did not understand what the inspector was talking about. I then offered to remove the pad that was recently poured and have grading done and ready for a monolithic slab and building and the response I got was “we can only sell you a building now, we can’t do your concrete anymore”

BEWARE!!! When they wont answer your phones calls and they never call you back! they wont answer my phone calls but if I call right after off my daughter's phone they will. 9 months later they came to put the building up. It had holes in the roof where they missed the beams. They came out to fix it but now all you see is silicone. I'm still not satisfied!!!

I purchased my carport June , I have called around 5 times and the lady in the office always says, I will call you tomorrow. NEVER HAS!
Now they are saying Mid November which if they come which I am very doubtful 5 1/2 months. There contract is ridiculous, that should of been the first sign. For NO reason can you get your deposit back, then there are like 18 things you have to initial on their contract that if you do not have, they add extra money like an electrical outlet 50 feet from the building. You have to give them a certified check when they put up the building, I think because a credit card you could dispute and check you could stop payment which from what I have seen of this company would be a good result. I am contacting newspapers, tv stations, etc. People should know what they are in for. If they had of been honest about how long it would be, maybe, but they take your money and I think they want you to give up so they can keep the deposit. I spoke to one lady and she was brand new and I said I think you choose jobs poorly and she said, "once they ever get the buildings up, people like them." Shame on me for not stopping in the middle of the transaction and walking away. If I ever do get my building I will follow up.

UPDATE: Waited several months. Good price, good product, Had a problem and Dee Dee solved the problem by sending braces to fix the building.

My husband purchase a 30x30x10. Metal Building we exited about our new building, ready to start our business, I highly appreciate the customer service was very helpful and take us step by step , on this purchase, the bad weather delay a little the installation process but we are glad to wait 2 extra weeks , this building is beautiful 100% customer satisfaction, very happy customers for sure. My uncle is ready to purchase a building for this company. Good job guys

Ordered a building and made deposit in May, 2018 it's now March 2019 and guess what? I still have no building. After numerous calls and excuses two Guatemalans showed up in November in a beaten up old Ford Ranger and started work. First they backed the cement truck off the gravel into my wet yard and got it stuck bursting my water line, then I had to call every friend I had round up two wheel barrows " they had none" and four friends and myself had to unload 30,000 lbs of concrete by hand. Then several weeks later the concrete started to flake up because they put two giant bags of calcium in the mix as you can see from the staining and ruined the surface. Now 11 months later I'm out $4,000 dollars have no building and a horrible concrete job. Can't wait to see there response. will keep you posted..

I bought a 30x60x12 with the help of tara, april and dasha they helped me get exactly what I needed and fast response each time I contacted any of them. These girls at max buildings know what they are doing. Very helpful made buying a pleasure. Concrete and building was done as planned and on time. Building looks great. Thank you girls so much I will be sending my friends to buy.

We are not happy with the way we have been treated by the staff of this company for the following reasons:

1. We scheduled delivery for July 9, 2018. No show, and no cancellation call from Dasha.

2. My husband called and rescheduled for 7/20/18, for delivery and 7/27/18 for the build. No show or cancellation call from Dasha or any one from the company on 7/20.
My husband called again and left a message.

3. July 23, 2018... Dennis called, Dasha said 7/27 the installers would be there.

4. 7/27/2018 ...No installers by 10:30 sosI called Dasha, because I doubted they would come on the 27th as scheduled. Dasha had an excuse which I no longer cared about and was filling ticked. Dasha.said they would be there on August 3rd... I told her that I wanted to speak to her boss. She turned me over to Tara who told me Dasha was causing all kinds of scheduling problems. Tara scheduled delivery and installation on August 3rd, weather permitting... I told her I wanted that in writing....and I told her that I felt we should be compensated for the poor treatment...she agreed and said she would speak to her boss. I told her I wanted her guaranteed date in writing it was sent in an email. Today is August 3 installers are here. I called about the compensation, left 3 messaged...ha...Tara lied...she said she was hired 3 weeks ago as a manager, today I spoke with April who says she is the manager not Tara. I told her Tara aagreed that we should be compensated, April said she had to make a call ..calls me back...no compensation... I am a disatisfied customer... I wish there was a 0 star choice.

I want to thank Dasha and all the other Staff for such a great job and the professional work. The Inspector came out here 3 times to inspect the work. He was so impressed with it each time. He asked where did it come from as he knew it wasn't from here. He said it was the best well built building in yrs that he inspected.
If anyone wants something that will last, check this out.
Call there and ask for Dasha she is the best and has been there for me all the way. She knows how to get things done.

DO NOT USE!!! This business is terrible to work with. Very dishonest company and employees. The owner of the company wont even respond to phone calls or emails and Dasha who coordinates everything can't even give you dates or even get her own employees to do anything . I payed in February for my building and called every other day for weeks for concrete and they couldn't give me a day or time to come until I was out of town and they just showed up (and it was my fault I wasn't there). They couldn't tell me a date for delivery on my building until 12 hours before they showed up. I asked for a 2 inch overhang on the roof so I could have gutters installed and they said that's no problem and then would not do it for me and would not come back to finish the job. I asked for all my leftover materials and all I was left was a trash pile with more drink bottles and cigarettes than usable material . My building is still not finished and its July... Just a nightmare experience with legal actions in progress.

I love my new 40x60 building THANK YOU MAX BUILDINGS you guys rock! From customer service to installers from start to finish was a wonderful experience. i appreciate everything. The concrete pad makes my building look even better than i imagined I will highly recommend you to all my friends and neighbors. Max buildings is the best.....

We were very pleased with the building we had installed. Time frame was a little different, BUT the office staff emailed me us and stayed in contact with me.Would use this company again for next shop!

In the beginning this company seems very nice they were very quick to get his financing with One Main Financial which I may add they were very wonderful but is far as next buildings they procrastinated they lied they put us off for well over 30 days it actually came down to the point that it was time for my first financed payment and I didn’t even have a concrete slab I started complaining I even started looking into canceling my contract the owner of the company then got involved and to try and satisfy me came out two days later to then pour my concrete slab and then the following week had my building erected know it’s awfully funny how it took the threat of canceling my contract to get it done when I waited 45 days Because of the issues the owner got on the phone with me to keep me from canceling the contract and offered to pay my first payment to satisfy me not really but I let it go as long as we got the shed but now I held the final payment of 400 For the back door because they were major issues with the building that we were completely unsatisfied with we then called the company and tell them these issues need to be corrected before the final payment would be sent to them a week later the contractor called he came out that very day fixed a few of the problems when swore the very next week he would be out to replace jagged metal that cut my three-year-old grandson’s fingers That week has come and gone and we contacted the builder and another excuse has been given But you see they have all their money unfortunately so please before thinking about usimg this company DON’T I wish I hadnt they lie they take your money and give you a very crappy job!!!

If we could give this company a 0 or no stars we would...Staff that handled order was rude, and would not communicate or return phone calls when issues arose...had a 20 x 20 building ordered, received a 19 x 20 instead, grading contractor only had non-english speaking non-speaking person, over 60 bad places left in concrete, found out that they do not use the quick hardening cement, even though they said they do, this was never fixed, where grading was done, they used the bobcat to destroy our property, promised to come out and repair and fix, never did, and left such a mess that any business should be ashamed of, no resolve from company at all, they do not care about their customers, just getting their money, plain crooks!

This place is TERRIBLE!!!! They have the worst customer services and don’t deliver on their product. We ordered a carport in September and in December we still have no carport when we called we kept getting told they were behind and it would be two more weeks. When we got fed up the customer service rep Dasha Oxendine was extremely rude said she couldn’t give me date on delivery and would not allow me to speak to customer service. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE FRAUDS!!!!

Max buildings is a wonderful place to get your building. 6 weeks after having my concrete poured they were out putting my building up. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a really nice building.

This company is one of the worst that for customer service. BEWARE. They will seem nice, take your money very efficiently. After that you have to beg them to do a good job. You will never recieve a return call when you are told you will. I could go on and on. Buyer beware. Most of the company reviews are from employees!

Very easy to deal with. I'm a person that is very hard to please. I'm very happy with my building. He told me a date. It was up a week ahead of time. My suggestion is don't do the concrete yourself. Let them do it. I could have saved 500 dollars. Dorwin is a nice guy and followed up on a weekly bases. Everything he said. He did. I'm so glad I went with these guys. The reason I did, there was something different about Dorwin. He was just as honest as he could be, and lead me the right way. I'm very happy and pleased. I never ever give anyone 5 stars. This is the first time. Thank you guys so much for the hard work and dealing with a butt hole like me. You guys are the best. It want be long and I will be calling you back. Thank you so much.

I called one morning for a quote, very specific details. After a couple minutes, he quoted me a great price, and he said he would email the contract to me that afternoon. The next afternoon, having not received any email, I decided drive 27 miles out of my way (with all my kids), to their office, to save time with this project (while saving them the trouble of an email), and get the paperwork done and deposit paid. Well, nobody was at the office, at all, during regular business hours (Tues around 2:15pm)... and they would not be expected for the rest of the day! Okay, I know stuff happens, I decided to just wait for the email.
When he emailed the contract to me the next afternoon, the price was much higher than the original quote! About a 20% increase. Very disappointing, particularly because I already had a cheaper, customized, higher quality option lined up before all of this.
I would not recommend this company to anybody. While the price might still be better than some of those highly marked-up dealers, I consider honesty in business very important. And there are better deals elsewhere. I will be contacting a different manufacturer, again.
***then he offered to fix this error, and sent me a bad contract, to be corrected by the actual manufacturer, causing further delay and frustration*** buyer beware!!!
