Masterpiece roofing is an incredible company. We had a leak in our roof from hail damage and called Masterpiece. They were a complete turn key operation that helped work with the insurance company and fix all of the hail damage outside and inside the house. I would highly recommend them to any of my neighbors. My project manager was Nelson and he did a great job coordinating the work around my schedule. Thank you Masterpiece Roofing for fixing my house and making it look like a masterpiece!

Don't waste your time with this incompetent owner. They installed my roof in 2020 when Rex was the owner - he was a great guy. I had 25 cracked tiles after the install and they refuse to honor the warranty. Complete run around every time you call. And we live in the same neighborhood. Sad to see that business owners think they can treat customers like this. Very disappointing.

Masterpiece roofing does a horrible job following up and they don’t honor their warranty. Our roof was installed several years ago by Masterpiece Roofing but under previous management. At the time, I was reassured that my roof was warrantied for workmanship. Earlier in May of this year, I noticed a few broken tile shingles due to the hailstorm. I called Masterpiece roofing and spoke with Lani. I explained to her my situation, and I asked to have a roofer walk my roof and assess for additional damage. She remembered me from the original roofing job, and she assured me that someone will come by and take a look at my roof. More than a month went by, and I never heard from anyone. I called Lani to get a status, to my shock, she completely forgot our previous conversation. She had no recollection of anything that we had discussed so I had to start over and explain my situation from the beginning. She proceeded to tell me that the tile shingles are difficult to come by and asked me if I had any extras. I explained to her, as I did in my previous conversation, that I was not provided with any tile shingle samples when the roof was originally installed. More importantly, I wanted a roofer to walk my roof to ensure that there’s no additional damage. It’s been over five months now and I’ve called Lani several times during that period, and she will not return my calls. I’ve also texted her several times, she replied once a few months back and her exact text was “I’ll get right on it”. When I call the main number on the website, I get a message that the number is not in service. Needless to say, no one has been by from Masterpiece roofing to walk my roof and assess for additional damage. I will never use Masterpiece roofing for any future projects, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them because of their unprofessional customer service.

This company is a joke. Nothing but problems and the clown they have running it now Creed Mccaslin , he knows nothing about roofing and comes off as an arrogant wannabe hack. They never did fix the issue. This guy tried to make excuses and explain something he clearly know very little about, ROOFING.

We had a new roof install through masterpiece 5 1/2 years ago and little did we know it would end up costing us $$$$ years later. We are dealing with water and mold damage that could have been avoided if Masterpiece had done the job correctly.

While doing construction in one of our upstairs bathrooms we found out that we have a mold and water problem due to poor ventilation in the attic and ice daming which led to a slow leak down one of our pipes. I am certain that the roof and ventilation were installed incorrectly which over time has created a major problem. As soon as we noticed this issue we called masterpiece and didn’t hear back within a day so I emailed them. Someone responded to the email and I was told someone would call me but still days later we heard nothing. In that time 3 other roofing companies came out, inspected and followed up with me, and one was able
to repair it. I finally got a call back from masterpiece more than two weeks after the issue was brought to their attention but as of today there is still no resolution or follow up from masterpiece.

All 3 of the other roofing companies came to the same conclusion on the cause of the water which is improperly calculated ventilation and the sloppy install/ lack of ice and water shield.

When I spoke to masterpiece, they told me it was impossible that they skipped the install of the ice and water shield, but I have pictures showing the removal of the roof, which does not have ice and water shield installed. Again I have not heard back from masterpiece, but I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone unless you are a roof expert yourself, and can verify that every step of the way is done correctly.

The pictures I have attached show water damage on my OSB, as well as the removal of the felt with no ice and water shield.

I would recommend Bulldog Roofing or Formula roofing

I do not recommend using Masterpiece Roofing. They Cut major corners on the install. Did not properly install new step flashing or drip edges, damaged existing flashing leaving raised gaps and a wavy appearance to the new shingles, they have many raised nail heads leaving water penetration locations. We have tried to contact Masterpiece Roofing and they don't answer the phone, voice mail is full and not receiving new messages and emails are not returned. Stay away if you respect your home and want your new roof to last more than a few years

Steve G. did a wonderful job of managing the replacement of my roof and painting my house after a major hailstorm. He coordinated with my insurance company on a number of occasions to insure that I received adequate compensation. He made sure that my solar panels were removed and placed back on the roof after the new roof was installed. The paint job was outstanding. He came back after the paint jwas finished and personally did the work that I asked him to complete. I will be recommending Masterpiece without reservation to my friends and associates.

Enjoyed working with Steve Grunder from Masterpiece Roofing. Did roof and exterior painting and very happy with both. Conscientious is a great word to describe Steve. He will go up and beyond for you and very knowledgeable.

The company did a fantastic job of replacing the roof, gutters and repairing hail damage and the painting of the exterior of our entire home. I would highly recommend them!! Masterpiece Roofing was a pleasure to work with. They were honest, friendly, on time, and took care of just about everything with my insurance company. Most, important, they were on budget. Their sales staff made the rounds following a recent hail storm and I'm incredibly hesitiant in working with door-to-door sales. They were so laid back and friendly it almost made me leery, but everything they noted from dealing with insurance, the project process, to getting everything covered by insurance panned out. A new roof and nothing out-of-pocket. I would recommend Masterpiece to anyone looking for their services.

WARNING! Please do not be fooled by this company like I was. First they promised products and services, but then tried to back out of what they said. Next they tried to take the insurance money for jobs they didn’t do. They never posted a permit for the inspector to see. The never told me when the inspector was scheduled to come out. They are not transparent with what they charge. I would have given 0 stars if I could. This experience has been a nightmare. Very shady people. Please beware!

I worked with James and he kept me up to date about everything that was going on. The house roof and 2 outbuilding roofs were completed on a very hot one day. I believe there were 12 to 14 people here. The roofs look great. They worked with the insurance company and everything is good.

Masterpiece Roofing was very professional to work with. Once the insurance piece was figured out, the roof was installed quickly and the quality of work is very good! The only thing I would say is that they are not very transparent on cost & want to only discuss that with the insurance company. If I were to do it again, I would get my insurance estimate first, then contact Masterpiece to negotiate.

Being a first time home buyer, I was so stressed about the process of a new roof. I called my insurance company and asked for a referral which led me to these guys. Steve G. showed up the next day and went over the whole process in a friendly and professional manner. He was patient with me when I was waiting an extended period of time for the first check payment, and came out to personally guide me through the quality work his team competed when I was showing skepticism after they competed the whole roof in just a day. Awesome experience all around and would recommend Steve to anyone looking for a replacement roof.

Michael, Andrew and Crew, aka the Rowdy Boys, just did an amazing job on my roof. Well I'm no expert, but it was done in a day, no hassle to me and it looks great. I couldn't have asked for a better process. They sent me a letter to let me know they could come take a look. I much prefer this to a door knock, especially in today's world. I figured why not, gave them call. They came and took a look and there was enough damage to warrant a claim. I called my insurance company and passed the call to them and that is the last thing I had to do. Great job, great guys, great crew!

My new roof looks great! The whole crew was prompt, efficient, and cleaned up every bit of debris from the job. I was surprised at how little the whole process interfered with our lives. Michael Olson, in particular, was great! He explained every step in the process in detail and patiently guided me through the selection of materials that would enhance the appearance of my home.

We had some hail damage from a fabulous storm and had an employer come check out our roof and he was great. David was absolutely amazing. He was on time, very informative, and made sure everything worked out for my husband and I. His crew did the inspection and took care of all the insurance stuff and it was pretty stress free. We highly recommend this company and working with David Chavez. David was very professional and thorough with everything. Quality over quantity with this company. Thanks again for such a great job, we love our new roof. Highly recommended!!

I can’t say how impressed I was with Masterpiece. My roof needed replacing, and as usual, my insurance denied payment for my roof. Thank goodness Rex and his team were amazing advocates for me against my insurance company. Not only did my roof get replaced, I got new gutters, siding, painting and a few new screens. I only had to pay my deductible. I’m about ready to put my house on the market within the next year and had I not had my roof replaced, I’d be paying around $35,000 out of pocket for a new roof. I can’t thank Masterpiece Roofing enough!!!

Just had my house and deck painted and they feel brand new. The quality of work was great, they fixed some damaged spots by replacing some wood, caulked everything else to seal up the house and prevent more damage, and the touch-ups to the paint needed were very minimal. Mike, Andy, and Andres the rowdy gentlemen team will take very good care of you!

The work done looks great, and the people who worked on the house were really cool. The only issue I had was that getting it done when it was convenient for me and not for them. It was VERY stressful. It was pretty much let's just do it to do it even if it's a bs job (painting the exterior in freezing temperatures and snow on the roof), and not even approved by the HOA (my neighboor is still cussing him for the stunt he pulled on him). I felt under stress the whole time.

Had Masterpiece come and do our roof this spring and they were nothing but exceptional. Every question I had was answered quickly and professionally, along with others I didn't know I needed to ask. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done up to my expectations.

Steve G was easy to work with. He thoroughly inspected my house and made sure to let me know exactly what was needed. The roof was done in a timely manner and looked nice. He also helped me obtain money for repainting my house which was pitted from the same hailstorm which damaged my roof. The insurance company was difficult to deal with and he dealt with them on my behalf. He also recommended the painters who did an excellent job. They even worked all day christmas eve to ensure the house was completed quickly.

Always on time, knew exactly what was goin on always had a plan. Three roofs on my place was no problem.

Completely unprofessional and sends harassing and demeaning text messages. Do not work or talk to this contractor as he is the least professional in the field and his work is sloppy at best.

They were notified multiple times via text to stop work and other contracts were being reviewed which Rex responded with no problem. I will gladly send text messages to anyone that would like to see exactly how they operate

My attorney reviewed the contract and there are numerous issues that void it.

1) no fixed dollar amount
2) no xactimate report from contractor
3)no supplements sent to insurance
4)no material/work delivered or performed
5) work to be completed within 30 days, past that point.

Service was awesome, they delivered everything that was promised. The materials were delivered on a Wednesday and the crew was there early on thursday. The job was done before I got home from work.
