AVOID! Son was visiting family from college and was attempting to purchase items for a project around the house. Staff wanted him to turn out his pockets and consent to a search while he was buying his items. Son correctly refused and asked the staff to contact law enforcement. They refused. Wildly unprofessional and invasive treatment. No "home town" attitude or values.
Jeffery will keep me coming back as He is an absolute delight every time He is working. I really do love giving Massa my business as much as possible. My gripe is in the lumber bay, which is usually why I'm there.
First of all, sometimes I buy wood and nobody is around to take my paper, so I'll load up my lumber and try to find someone and end up driving away because I don't have time. It's a good thing I'm not the kind of person to take more lumber than I purchased otherwise it would be so easy.
Second; You guys need to train the staff on how to use the damn saw. I bought 2 sheets of plywood and paid extra to have them cut... only for the cuts to be crooked and short. Since its not for anything pretty I let the guy know that they were uneven but I didn't care much. The last cut, though, was way too short so He had to go pull a whole new sheet off the rack for a single cut.
Question to Owner; What if it was a $160 sheet of 3/4" Alder that needed to be recut? Or multiple pieces? Do you really want to lose money just because you're unwilling to train? Seems like an easy win considering that a lot of comments are saying the same thing.
We love Massa! Mark in paint has always been helpful during home projects. He helps make our vision a reality with suggestions and examples. The entire staff at Massa had gone above and beyond to help us save time and money.
