Professional installation, with new, TAMKO Titan XT architectural shingles and dumpster delivered 1 day before 2-day, re-roofing project started. Significant time and effort spent by roofers on 7 dormers with focus on valleys and siding interface. Both chimneys re-flashed with new lead counter-flashing. They replaced 2 pipe boots & bathroom roof vent. Full-coverage, ice & water shield to protect this old, circa-1805 center chimney colonial house. When the roofing project was finished, all old shingles and nails were removed with zero evidence that this major project occurred.

Chris did a phenomenal job putting a new asphalt roof and gutters on our colonial. Work was fast and smooth. Would 100% recommend them again!!

Chris and his staff provided a professional and efficient roofing project from the initial estimate through demolition to reroofing and then cleanup. From dumpster drop-off through project execution to dumpster pickup took less than 48 hours. The clean up left my yard looking better than before they got here. His on site supervisor, Aiden, kept all things moving and kept me updated on progress via photos and texts throughout the day. Bottom line these folks are great and I highly recommend them for your roofing and outdoor renovation needs.

Martin Roofing/remodeling put a new gutter system and leaf guard system on my house. They were a pleasure to deal with. They were easy to engage and schedule. Pleasant. Professional. They know the product options and worked well with me to select. They came out and inspected the existing gutter system. They do sub out the work to a regular guy they work with that does the install. The sub and his team were great. They all were very very intent on wanting to make sure they did a good job and they were wanting customer satisfaction. I usually get multi-bids on anything more than a few $1000 and didn't after meeting with them. I was very comfortable doing business with them as they were good people... and that was easy to see. Pricing was what I expected. They followed up to make sure all was well post install. All good. I'd contract them for other work yea.

Even though they are out of Killingworth, they also operate out of Simsbury, so we used them at our home in West Hartford to remove 2 layers of old roof tiles and install new. We just had Martin Roofing and Remodeling in to replace 2 very old skylights yesterday. From our very 1st meeting, Chris explained the process, timelines and what it would entail. Emily was on top of the order and despite the hiccup with the manufacturer sending skylights that didn't vent, it was smooth sailing. Aiden, the project lead was super - shared all the steps, what was next and any potential issues were resolved immediately. Chris was on site to ensure everything went smoothly and the team who worked on the skylights were efficient, friendly and took very good care by covering the bushes and the ground as well as the drop cloths inside the house. I vacuumed afterwards and there was almost nothing to vacuum up! If you need new skylights or roofing, this is the company that you want to engage - super professional, communicates every step and nice!!

Another excellent experience with Martin Roofing and Renovation for our cedar shingle roofing! The first time we used them, we were doing only part of our house. This time we were having them replace the roof on the early 19th C main part of our house which had some problems to solve. We considered various options. Martin Roofing helped us find the best options for this historic house and we are so grateful.

Absolutely outstanding service from Chris Martin. We had water stains on our ceiling and Chris spent hours figuring out where the water was coming from. He inspected every inch of the area, the second floor, and in the hot attic to get to the bottom of the issue. I would only hire Martin Roofing for roofing issues: new shingles, a new roof or water issues. Chris also found issues I didn't know I had that needed repair from a mason and a plumber. Absolutely the best experience! Excellent customer service - promptly responded the same day and Chris was on site for evaluation the next day. Very professional and knowledgeable. Gave us excellent advice on the choice of the shingle, performed a very thorough inspection of the roof, and even pointed out a small problem we had with the chimney (and recommended the local masonry company who did an excellent job fixing this problem). We were shown the samples of all available shingles right on the spot and that made the choice very easy. Chris also explained in detail the process of the roof replacement, so we knew exactly what will be done and which materials will be used. The quote with all the details came the next day and the price was very fair and competitive. The job was done promptly and very thoroughly, the guys kept the yards around the house very clean, and all we were left with was an amazing new roof and new gutters. Our 34 year old roof was original to the house and there were no problems of which we were aware. However, we knew it was time to investigate what was involved with replacement.

After careful research, we contacted three roofing companies and met with the owner of each. Two told us we needed to replace the roof right away, one mentioning that "we'd be lucky if the roof make it through the rest of the year."

Chris Martin was the only one who said that if we cleaned and treated the roof we could probably wait another 3 or 4 years before replacing it. He also gave us the names of two companies that could perform the service.

Chris is a consummate professional...beginning with our first impression of him through the completion of the job.

Communication is excellent. Calls and emails were answered promptly. His team arrived on time and completed the job when promised. Our surrounding shrubs and property were well protected. The team was courteous and did an excellent job of cleanup.

We cannot say enough about Emily Pitruzzello, the Project Manager. She was in touch with us throughout the entire process, available when we needed her both in person and by email, always prepared to answer any questions we had leading up to and after the installation of the new roof and 3 solar skylights.

We were concerned about the integrity of out roof and contacted Martin Roofing and Remodeling, asking them to provide a professional assessment. We scheduled an appointment and Rob showed up as scheduled, phoning ahead to let us know he was coming. Rob was very pleasant, professional and thorough. Rob's assessment was that the roof was "solid," but that our chimney needed work. Martin Roofing did an amazing job fixing and replacing our roof. The previous roof was way beyond it’s lifespan when we purchased our home. They dropped off samples so we could pick the perfect color. They replaced 9 sheets of plywood that were damaged and we had a new roof in one day!
