Nice folks and were timely for the free quote.

Unfortunately that was the last time I could say this. Over the last 5 months (!!!) I have tried to get them over to perform our minor shingle repairs. On the 3rd or 4th no-show I even called same day to ask "are you DEFINITELY coming today?" and was told yes, which they again no-showed. And whenever that happened, they didn't call to apologize or reschedule, just nothing. I kept on giving them extra chances over the months, but I'm done and feel like a fool I gave them 5 months to make this happen and now my roof is more damaged then before as the high winds rip off more shingles.

Sometimes when I would call them to follow up a day or week after a no-show, they would be nice and apologize and say they need to check schedule or something and "call me right back" which they also never did, at least 4-5 times over the months.

I am very disappointed and getting a new roofer.

I located Mares Roofing through HomeAdvisor, after attempting four local roofers. They were prompt in response time, came out the next day, even suggested having a 2nd appraiser come, as they knew the wood shingle roof needed more than just "repairs."

Times being what they are, with construction costs high, we knew it would not be an inexpensive investment, but after watching Sotero Mares crew at work, we knew we were investing wisely.

It was nice to see the constant cleanup as work progressed. Working with Mr. Mares, you will see he is sincere, honest, and as reliable as the men he employs (several have been with him for many years.)

We would give him 5 stars.

Angi’s List recommended this company. At first everything seemed all fine and on track to have my attic vents installed, said he’d be here at 10 am next morning. They were a NO SHOW and quit answering the phone. I wouldn’t recommend them for roofing a dog house let alone your own personal home. Terrible business ethics to say the least.
