I hired Malama team for kitchen remodel. Michael and the whole crew provided excellent service, stayed incredibly professional and kept me informed about every step of the process.
Michael provided detailed estimate and educated me about the choices I had, being very clear about price-time-installation options. The showroom is in Downtown Bellevue, which is very convenient and you can actually stop by and get the feel of the granite, tile, stone etc samples before committing to a certain design. They work with you patiently and make sure you are fully happy before finalizing the project. Malama team did the ordering and delivery of materials, so that saved a lot of stress and hustle.
The remodel was completed efficiently, on time and the work place was left spotless. That adds to the wow effect when you first get to see a fully completed project. One more important thing for me is the fact that we stayed within the budget that was initially allocated for the project.

Horrible company, the store is a mess, horrible customer service, the peoples there don't know what this doing work wise.
They claim to have an excellent craftsmanship but is the opposite, I highly recommend you not to work with this company, stay away from them. There is no words to describe how I feel about this company/store and how bad they work.

We didn't wind up needing any work done, but the level of communication and professionalism was wonderful and we will be sure to utilize Malama in the future if ever a need arises. They sent a handyman out to evaluate an issue with a window we were having, and with a little elbow grease got it to close and charged us nothing. Scheduling was easy and communication always prompt and friendly!

I had a pleasure working with Alexandria when it came time to renew my master bedroom. Alexandria came out to look at my condo to get a feel for what it looks like and what the rest of the condo is like. We then met at their showroom where she helped me select all the paint colors, carpet, and other finishes. Once everything was selected work was scheduled and everything was done promptly. At first, I was worried since I live in a high rise in downtown Bellevue, but the team knew how to work in common spaces, and everything was very professional and clean. Even the building manager complemented me on the contractor selection.

Michael and his team did an excellent doing a complete remodel of our second home. They communicated along every step of the way about any changes or options and completed the project on time and budget. House looks great. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

Malama Design and build saved me from a terrible situation with my master bathroom remodel. A contractor that I hired did terrible work and entire new bathroom had to be demolished due to poor install and janky craftsmanship. I called Michael and he came right over within 45 minutes and agreed the guy who did my remodel was a complete disaster. He gave me a quote and scheduled his guys for the following week. My bathroom is now like a spa oasis and top notch quality. Incredibly professional and the best at what they do. They even cover all your floors with carpet and floor protector to keep everything tidy and clean during their work.
