These men came into my yard without warning and began to cut trees! They didn't ask or even warn me!! They almost cut my memorial tree and I told them to get off my property!!! When they left I found out they cut the wire for my internet and I've had to get a professional to come fix it. My internet guy said they had also cut a wire to ppls internet on the main high way too!!! These ppl need to learn some manners and maybe they should be taught how to do their jobs appropriately bc they do not know how!!!!!!!

Tree trimming for the city, but at least 6 guys on their phones, just sitting on their truck. Blocking driveways. One guy sitting on the Crain.

It’s a small bit of common sense that people may need access to their houses yet with a utility truck in the way it is a bit ridiculous…

I had to drive around the truck and through my yard to get to my house. Good thing there was not an emergency.

Not smart and maybe something to discuss in your next company meeting….

I've never seen such a crappy company where they don't do any work, just park their truck, work for 1 or 2 hours, and spend the rest of the time doing laundry at the washer terrier, eating at the gas station, and playing. It takes 2 days to cut 4 trees. The company pays these people, the city of Houston pays the company that these people work for, and the city of Houston uses its tax money to support such crappy companies.

This company is doing tree trimming at the power lines in my neighborhood in North Charleston, SC. When I saw them on my street, I waited in my front yard for 2 1/2hrs til they got to my front yard. I have an extremely gorgeous flower and pond habitat that encompasses my entire front yard. It's a very loved area. The only tree I have touching the power lines is a 30 yr old citrus tree. I was not leaving it's side while they cut it. They stopped working at noon that day, and my yard was the next one. The supervisor came to talk to me (without my asking), to tell me he had seen me waiting and will be careful with my tree and will make it look beautiful. They came a couple days later while I was at work. I was sick to my stomach knowing they were in my yard without me being home. I came home to a carefully trimmed tree and yard picked up of debris. Thank you for keeping your word, proactive communication, and most of all, for respecting my very loved garden.

Horrible disrespectful company. To start, only a few field members speak English which makes it very difficult to communicate properly and not to mention they talk rubbish in spanish to coworks about land owners (haha didn't think I'd understand you huh?) They come in destroy land with their oversized equipment, cut trees without permission and argue with land owners. They leave equipment behind and do not pick up their trash (hydrolic grease tubes) and have returned to my property 6 times since they first initially showed up and completed the job and clean up. Just sitting on my property in my driveway... THAT WILL END TODAY!!!

This review of Looks Great Services is not about the tree trimming services that this company provides.
It has to do with the boorish behavior of some of the employees.
My wife & I just finished a six night stay at the Best Western Sure Stay hotel in Portland, TN, where Looks Great Services has been staying for a job.
Many of the employees have taken advantage of the Best Western staff by being gluttons in the breakfast area. The staff could barely keep up with them, no eggs, breakfast meat on the weekend bc Looks Great Services employees used up all they had. Entire thermous's filled with coffee.
The worst for hotel patrons was having to listen to a couple of their employees play their dance videos on their phones while we had breakfast. The music was so loud it could be heard anywhere in the lobby & the main floor. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but why not get headphones! Just completely clueless!

This service left a metal harness pulley in our grass, which broke our zero turn blade, and although they replaced it, the very next day valuable items started going missing from our property, and they were the only strangers who were able to see those items when repairing our blade. I wouldn't trust them for doing your tree maintenance.

Super friendly staff. I delivered some equipment for a up coming 2022 holiday festival. Owner extended exceptional accomodations on the property knowing I traveled from 3 states away and there aren't any truck stops nearby. Thanks guys and gals keep up the good work And hope to return for the Christmas tree festival

Awesome! These guys are working extra hard during the holiday season to spruce up the town and bring along extra surprises for locals to enjoy soon :)

They showed up to my property without warning to trim trees around the power line. In the process they severed my underground dog fence. My dog was hit multiple times in various places of his body by the trimming equipment (large rotary blade) on my property . I called the main office and they said the safety person would call me back. No one has called yet.

The bad reviews clearly don’t appreciate the hard work the workers put out. Suns blazing but they won’t stop working!

Looks Great Services was given a contract by FEMA and DTOP of Puerto Rico. They hired a company called Hurricane Works to subcontrac locally contractor or companies in Puerto Rico. The Job was done by this Puerto Rican subcontractor or companies and this two companies has not payed them for there hard work. The Job was done back in January we are going on four months with out any payment. They took advantage of the hard working people of Puerto Rico. They will scame you for your money. We are taking action against this two companies.

Pearl River Valley definitely made a mistake hiring this company to trim power lines in our area. They left all the limbs and small trees they cut in my yard and my 93 year old neighbor's yard. I called them twice to find out when they were coming back to clean up and they said they were not. Pretty sorry to leave people's clean yards in a mess! It has been over 2 months now and still they haven't returned to correct this issue.

Best people ever! They cut a old dead looking pine that was about over the house and big limbs about hitting the power line. There team was nice and when they left it didn’t look like a tree was ever there nor them. Hats off too looks great!

These people ha e a truck in front off my house. Don't know if it broke down, or what. Now, the proper thing to do is tell the people (ME) that the truck broke down, and will have to be left in place overnight. Did they do this? NO! If this truly k is not moved from in fro t of my house by noon tomorrow, it will be towed!

Looks Great tree cutting services left our town in Rincón Puerto Rico looking completely massacred and worse off then even after the horrific natural destruction due to a category 5 hurricane.

This business is shameful in their lack of regard for trees that are beautiful elements of our scenery and no where near power lines (apparently they were paid by volume so they cut down some of the largest and oldest trees they could find).

And the trees that they did trim near the power lines they trimmed the lowest (easy to reach) branches and left piles of debris everywhere close to the road for cars and people to have to dodge.

Please do not support this business in any way their work is completely shameful and destructive and they should be shut down for their lack of ethics and failure to communicate with people who are questioning their work.

I have been watching with a broken heart for over a week while this company systematically destroyed our gorgeous old growth mango and flamboyan trees all over our beloved community of Rincon, PR. Our community prides itself on the beauty of the canopy of mango trees as you drive through town. Anyone can understand that some pruning may be necessary to protect power lines but when complete 100 year old trees are completely felled to the ground that is criminal! How would people from Mississippi feel if a bunch of tree cutters from Puerto came into their state and felled all of their beautiful southern magnolia trees??? Please stop the killing!!

Why is Looks Great Srvs cutting trees in Rincon that are not even on the same side of the road as the power lines. An even better question: Why can't the workers explain the process to anyone? They came all the way from Mississippi for a presumably 7 figure contract, you would think that a representative from the company could show some diplomacy and explain the assignment to the community.

I live in Puerto Rico, this company somehow received a contract to remove trees that were in the way of the power lines. That's not what they are doing. They are cutting down hundred year old trees no where near lines, leaving debris in the middle of the road and in streams, dropping equipment onto passing cars, leaving trees that are resting on lines standing. Please go back to where you came from. We have already suffered enough, we do not need you to make it worse.

The community of Rincon, Puerto Rico is collectively heartbroken and angered by the complete lack of disregard this company has shown for our natural surroundings. They are cutting our trees at an alarming rate, fruit trees that provide for families and tourists, 100 plus year old trees that provide shade and beauty, trees that are no where near electrical lines, it is unconscionable what they are doing to an already mending community. Shame on you, ‘Looks Great Services’ for once again preying on victims of a natural disaster.

Shame on you, Looks Great Services. Your crews were hired to clear branches and dead trees away from power lines in Puerto Rico, and instead they are indiscriminately cutting down healthy trees that do not interfere with power lines and leaving giant logs and debris all over the roadsides. Your company is actually creating more danger with the debris on our roads that do not have shoulders. Your company is deleting comments on your Facebook posts, blocking people from your FB page, and refusing to answer questions from or meet with members of the community. Looks Great Services is a disgrace!

Looks Great Services is taking advantage of an already very sad situation here in Puerto Rico. They are paid to prune trees off the power lines and dead trees near the road wats but since they are getting paid by vegetative volume they are cutting more away than the should. They’re cutting big healthy trees that aren’t anywhere near the lines or roads just so they can line their pockets more. The hurricane already took so much of our vegetation and now this shady business is taking more from our beautiful island. We’ve tried talking to them, reasoning with them, pleading to them and they just keep cutting indiscriminately. These men are not arborists, they are not trained but for cutting, they are not doing the job they’re getting paid for they’re taking it into their own hands to cut more to make more. It’s not right, it’s shameful. It needs to stop!

Looks Great Services have been here in our town of Rincon in Puerto Rico. Their work is a complete disaster. They have been cutting large fruit trees which have nothing to do with roadways or power lines and leaving the debris dangerously in roadways. They have refused to communicate with the community’s concerns. They are under investigation for over cutting from Sandy cleanup yet somehow managed to land the contract for cleanup down here. We understand the need to trim for the roadways and power lines but that is not what is happening here.

This company is here in Puerto Rico, hired to cut trees that are interfering with the ability to restore power. However they are cutting trees indiscriminately, in many cases destroying beautiful fruit trees and strong, old trees that have withstood every storm for decades, regardless of the fact that many of these trees are NOT hindering the power restoration AT ALL. We understand the need to cut many trees, but we also want this company to realize that they are here to help the island recover, and our fruit trees are a precious resource. So please have respect for all our natural resources, and cut only those trees that are necessary. Thank you.

This company is butchering our trees in Rincon PR. They are indiscriminately chopping down healthy trees that aren’t in the way of power lines simply bc they are paid based on the size of the tree. They have actually skipped over thinner trees that are directly laying on the wires. They have chopped down trees that are 100 years old...no matter what, they can never replaced these beautiful pieces of our towns history. They are currently under investigation for similar tactics in their involvement in hurricane Sandy clean up in New York. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. LOOKS GREAT SERVICES...SHAME ON YOU!
