I ended up having to pay out-of-pocket because my insurance company refused to pay the full amount they charged. They refuse to pay because they found had problems with the way the roof was measured and the roofers were never able to prove their measurements although the insurance company was very specific about what they thought was wrong. My insurance company said they were not very cooperative and gave me some specific details that showed their measurements were wrong. They gave me a small discount for paying in cash ($100 bills). They had to come back to finish the trim. I would never use them or recommend them.

Dale and Tyler were wonderful came the next day pleasant and very respectful. Would recommend them to anyone needing service.

It was a pleasure to meet and work with Dale Jr on replacing my roof and siding. He gave me the best price. The "J" crew showed up early and finished the siding and painted everything in two days! My house looks brand new! So thankful!

Dale Jr & team are amazing! Lockwood did a roof for my mom 5 years ago and we were so pleased with the quality of work. When we had hail damage in June, they were the first and only roofing company we contacted. I referred them to do my sisters and nephews house too and same top quality work and single day service. I was not aware of the expanded services they offer such as the patio and we had skylights removed - they did all the work inside the house to put in drywall and paint. Professional, personable, excellent work, great job with clean-up. Our roof was completed in one day - when other houses in our neighborhood are taking 2-5 days to complete. I highly recommend them and would give 10 stars if I could select more than 5. Our neighbors all comment on how nice the roof looks with the shingles we selected. When discussion the work to be completed, a lot of good suggestions and recommendations, while also listening to our thoughts to come up with the best solution. Continual check in while the work was being done to ensure we were satisfied and if we had questions, quick to respond. Initially, I was impressed with Dale Jr. He coordinated all the work and subcontractors for repair after the 2023 storm damage. However, after the repairs I noticed several quality defects even though Dale stated he did a walk-a-round and all was good. After the roofers finished I stepped on a nail requiring a tetanus shot along with me using a magnetic rake picking up over 50 nails in my yard. Roofing did not close the flashing above my water heater that would allow rain to flow through my roof. Vinyl siding was patched with left over pieces instead of full panels. Have called Dale Jr a couple times for a few moments of his time to look at my concerns; however, no visit in over a month. Guess since he received my $19,000 he has no concern. Based on this, I would not recommend Lockwood to anyone and if I see their sign in front of anyone's house I know how to ring a doorbell.

What I want is a visit from Dale Jr to see my concerns of quality of work and ask him if that was done to his own home...would he be satisfied for the money he spent on repairs.

I doubt that I will get a response to this comment or even a phone call from Dale since this is not a "happy to be glad" Positive post.

We used them for all my mom’s hail and wind damage. They replaced the house roof, the roof on dad’s hobby house, two doors, the siding, and some other damaged things. They were punctual and very polite and nice to my elderly mother. Dwayne Lockwood was very responsive when I would text with a question. They went above and beyond in fixing her roof etc. I highly recommend them and my mom has already asked them to fix a few other items for her in the future.

Just had my roof replaced in one day. Then the gutters were replaced in about three hours. It was great working with Dale JR. of Lockwood & Sons. He was very polite, in contact with me and visited the project regularly to check progress. I highly recommend Lockwood & Sons for your roofing and gutter needs.

I cannot say enough great things about Lockwood & Sons! Like so many others, our roof was damaged in the storm earlier this summer. Lockwood & Sons did the roof back in 2011 and it had been great so we called them again. But we were just weeks away from closing on selling our home, so we had a tight timeline. Dale James Lockwood worked with me and communicated every step of the way, letting me know when they were doing what work, who would be dealing with different problems. And all along he kept telling me, we're gonna take care of everything and get it done on time. The day before our scheduled closing.......they were finished! Everything done as needed to be for the buyer, everything looks great! Myself, I will never call anyone but Lockwood & Sons for my roofing or construction needs, and a big thank you to Dale for all of his help and guidance throughout the process!!

When calling Lockwood and Sons Dale Jr. came out and was very professional. The roofing crew was great and did a great job.

After the big storm I called
and Dale was here within a few hours. He did my inspection and secured my vent cover that blew off. This company is the BEST!

I currently rent a house, but the homeowners decided to replace the roof and they went with Lockwood and sons, construction and roofing. I have nothing but good things to say about the owners and their crew! They started early in the morning and we’re finished by six that evening. And the owners son, Dale, took extra care and makd sure all of the nails were picked up so my children wouldn’t be injured while playing outside. 10 out of 10 recommend them! My roof looks awesome!

Outstanding! Showed up early, worked their but tail ends off until 10PM and got the job done in one day. A very hard roof on house and garage complete. House and garage! Workers were safe, used tag lines, and caused zero damage to the house or yard. Supervisor came out and checked job during the day AND came back the next morning to see if the job was done right, and ask me if I needed anything else. 100% would recommend.

Due to hail damage had new roof installed. I am amazed how well organized and hard working the roofing crew was that installed the roofing. The crew worked from early morning to sunset removing and installing roofing material. During which time they kept the majority of waste cleaned up. The workmanship was excellant. Gave a good competitive estimate. Started the job and finished on time. It's been four years and everything still looks great.

A man came out to look at the roof. I have a sunroom that is leaking. He Proceeded to tell me how bad my whole roof was, said he would back after He talked to his boss. .. never saw him again....no call, nothing. I certainly won't call them again.
