L&L Construction

L&L Construction did some work on my parents house and did a good job. Thus we chose to meet with them in May to get a bid on two large projects - one for our business and one for our home. They told us we would have the bid in 2-4 weeks. We were told that a spot was held for us to start construction the beginning of September. After a month we had not heard back so we contacted them. It took until the beginning of September until we finally got the bid after we had contacted them multiple times asking for it. Once we got it they said that we were now bumped until October. We were also told we would get an itemized bid with pricing break downs but only received a bid with a total number. We then asked to meet with them to go over the bid which took another 4 weeks to finally get an in person meeting. The secretary wrote down the wrong time and thus the contractor wasn't there and we had to wait for them to come back to meet with us. At this time the contractor told us that they couldn't give us a price break down, "we just don't do that." was what we were told. At this point we were also told that we were now pushed back to December for a start date. This continued delay has cost us money as a business as we could not open that addition until the project is done and our peak season is September and October. The lack of communication was difficult alone. The lack of transparency is unacceptable. We will be going a different route as I don't trust a company that can not be transparent on their bid or clear in their communication.

Love the work these guys do, found a termite disaster while doing some fixes to an exterior wall, they quickly came up with and plan and fixed it better than the original.
The men doing the work were great very friendly and willing to work with your needs to get the job done right and very knowledgeable. They all spoke very highly of the owners which is a sign of a good company, happy employees make happy costumers.
