Clint Lightfoot of Lightfoot Roofs made my roofing experience effortless and stress free. He videoed the damage to my roof, vents and gutters (I know it was my roof because the video began with a view of the front of my house), checked the attic which revealed decking was not up to code and explained in detail what needed to be replaced. He accompanied the adjuster during inspection, worked with the insurance company to make sure I got everything that was supposed to be covered and presented a clearly defined and detailed bid. His experienced crew worked quickly and efficiently and were courteous and pleasant. They were fastidious in their cleanup.
This is the third time I have had to replace the roof on this house. First off, I would like to say “Lightfoot Roofs” is a top notch roofing company and if you read this review to the end, you will know why. I have had several roofing companies in my lifetime and none of them even come close to all the extra benefits “Lightfoot Roofs” does to ensure you not only have a quality roof but one that will not leak but one that is better equipped to withstand much of what weather can do to a roof. Let me list many of the quality benefits other roofing companies do not provide so they can pocket more of the insurance money and leave you with just a new roof and that’s all. Many roofing companies will just remove the existing roof put down a black felt undergarment, install the new shingles, accomplish cleanup after the job is completed and that’s it. Lightfoot Roofs tells each customer exactly what they will be getting before any work begins and be sure to compare this list to any other roofing company you might consider doing the work for you.

Lightfoot Roofs accomplished all this, and Mr. Lightfoot remained on the jobsite until all work was completed.

• Remove damage roof shingles, vent caps, and whirley bird attic vent.
• Installed 7/16 decking over existing plank decking (would not be required on others roof projects that did not have planks).
• Installed Weather-Watch synthetic underlayment over decking from eve to peak overlapped.
• Installed 2 inch drip edge on all eves and rakes around entire perimeter of roof to match client color preference.
• Installed new roof with GAF Armor Shield II Class 4 impact rated shingles (highest rated shingles available) based on client color preference.
• Installed 4 new pipe jacks and painted them to blend in with the color of the roof.
• Installed 270 LF of GAF Z-Ridge ridge caps (much more durable and you do not get this from other roofing companies).
• Installed 2 new 4 inch exhaust caps.
• Installed new whirley bird attic vent.
• Cleanup and haul away all removed shingles and trash and swept around property with a magnetic rake to pick up any lose metal and nails.
• Provided a 5 year workmanship warranty and transferrable 50-year GAF systems Plus Warranty on roofing shingles.
• Had a company remove existing guttering and downspouts and install new 5 inch seamless guttering and downspouts to match client color preference.

If any unforeseen circumstances arise “Lightfoot Roofs” will repair or replace any damage done by anyone on the work crew at his expense. I am way beyond satisfied I am fortunate to have found and hired “Lightfoot Roofs”. A company that goes above and beyond what all other roofing companies are doing. I highly recommend them.

What can I say? Mr. Lightfoot was a beacon of light in the midst of a storm. After tornadoes swept through my hometown I found myself with a home and garage that both desperately needed a new roof. The insurance company at the time was refusing to pay for any of the damage, even though I had maintained coverage with them for over a decade. Clint drove quite a ways to come out and meet with the adjuster and give his estimate on replacing the roof. He was on time, professional, and even guided me when it came to speaking with the insurance company. I was a thousand miles away, waiting on a third surgery for a busted leg, so knowing that I finally found a trustworthy contractor to fix my home and garage was more than just a blessing. You cannot pay for that kind of peace of mind, you just can't. The work was done exceptionally well and it only took a day to do my home, garage, and yard shed. The entire crew was tidy and organized so there was never really a mess. Despite that, they still took the time to make sure everything was picked up and they also swept the property with a magnet to be sure there wasn't any nails or potentially damaging debris left behind. I don't expect to have any problems in the future, but it's Oklahoma so you never know. No matter what the future holds, I know who I'm gonna call if or when I need my roof repaired/replaced.
