Matt and his crew at Legacy Remodeling did amazing work on a whole house remodel in Rocky Mount. Most of the remodel was completed while I was out of town and it felt great knowing that Matt ensured the remodel went smoothly without be being there. Shout out to JD and Josh who worked to the very end to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner. From kitchens to baths, from small projects to large, Legacy Remodeling is the best in the business serving Franklin County.

Good job on installation of lvp flooring throughout main floor and indoor/outdoor carpeting in screened porch. Installed 6 months ago and so far no problems. They made sure I was happy with work and came back to fix any issues.

I have no idea where to start to write a review about Matt from Legacy builders and his incredible team.
Not only have they from day one showed up when they said they would, they are an incredibly trustworthy, professional, dedicated working team, their positive can do attitude, their cleanliness, personality and willingness to get it right.
We had our entire old kitchen removed down to the bare walls with new cabinets, and appliances installed, along with that project we had nasty dirty screens removed from our sun rooms and new windows installed with removable plexiglass on the bottom to be able to clean the louvers.
The result was absolutely perfect all to do with Matt’s very knowledgeable team.
As our project comes to a end, it’s bittersweet as we have enjoyed every step of this project not only because we now have a beautiful new kitchen and a bright and clean sunroom but we will miss the entire team at Legacy, my advice would be not to even bother with any other contractor although I am sure there are some good ones but if you want a GREAT one call Matt at Legacy and let his team take care of you.

Legacy Remodeling did a great job on my kitchen counter. Matt (owner)was polite and professional. I will be using them for any repair issues that I have in the future.

We had an ugly, rotting deck that desperately needed to be torn down. Legacy took care of removal of the old deck and replaced it with an awesome new one. The new deck really helped the curb appeal of our house when we sold it.

We loved the work so much that when my mom needed work I was 100% comfortable with Legacy taking care of working on her new shower and tile.

I wish I could give a 5 star like everyone else but when you call to get a estimate to add on to your house, then come out to NEVER get in touch with the person again. Waited two and a half weeks later to try and still get a quote but doesn't return that call still 2 days later why bother! I will go somewhere else thanks! So since the owner wanted to respond because he didn't like a 1 star, He never told my husband or myself that he was going on vacation. Of course the owner is going to say I didn't leave a message when did. He is the one when he left that day to say he would work on the quote that day and get back with us. Everyone has to have a addition approved through the county which falls back on the homeowners not the contractors! Funny we already discussed with the town the addition before and after we talked with the owner! Talk is cheap, I can say this he can say that we as the customer already had two or three other contractors to give estimates and did it in a professional timely manner. Communication goes a long way! Even if he responds to this I will not respond because I have better things to do with my time then go back and forth!

My wife and I wanted to renovate an addition that was built on a deck attached to our home, the support post had begun to rot through, we discovered there was no drip edge on the roof, so the roof had begun to rot as well as the exterior wall which was a surprise. It went from a remodel to a serious concern very quickly. We spoke to Matt and he dropped by one evening after he had already worked all day and walked through with us, very personable, very intelligent and has a good sense of design and experience. We came up with a plan and they worked with us in every way possible. I can't even explain how reassuring it was to have these guys working on our house. They took the time to clean up, keep things tidy and they didn't disturb or destroy anything other than what was meant to be demolished or repaired. I could go on and on about the experience I had, but I believe if you're in need of home improvement, repair or renovation. then you should without a doubt have your own experience. I'm confident that you'll be just as happy as my wife and I are. Thank you guys for the hard work and care keep on rocking!

Matt and his team at Legacy Remodeling are AMAZING! They took our outdated 100-year-old farmhouse kitchen and turned it into our dream kitchen. The team was honest, trustworthy, and reliable making the remodeling process really fun and exciting for our family. They were very hardworking and knowledgeable and if anything unexpected came up with it being an older home they made the effort to fix it in the right way, which we greatly appreciated. Matt was always very responsive and helpful if we had any questions and the timeline they gave us for the project was accurate. The Legacy Remodeling team are great people. They even sent flowers to our family when my husband’s father passed away during that time. We will always go with Legacy for any of our remodeling needs because they do an incredible job!

I am extremely happy with my new kitchen! All Matt’s employees were so respectful and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with what they were doing. Matt made it so easy to match what I wanted in the design I showed him a picture of. Had a bad experience when I had my bathrooms redone by someone else. I will definitely go with Matt and his team if I ever remodel anything else in my home! Definitely have to mention Matt’s employees cleaned my whole kitchen before they left. Truly a deep clean. Thank you so much Matt and a shout out to all your employees! OMG, how could I forget that you probably saved us from a major catastrophe! Thank you again for your electrician pointing out what could have been extremely dangerous for us in the future!

We were in need of a quick bathroom addition for a family member with a serious health issue. We called several contractors and Legacy was the only company that returned our call. Matt meet with us on a Monday and saw the urgency in our need. He had an estimate to us on Tuesday and we signed the contract on Wednesday. They began their work the following Tuesday. They were professional and their work is beautiful. If you want a contracting team that is trustworthy, honest and does quality work we highly recommend Legacy Remodeling!!

Let me start with the good. When we contacted Legacy they immediately replied to our call. We had contacted other contractors and never heard back on projects. Matt arrived looking professional and had already put together some ideas for our project. We had one remaining bath on our main floor that needed updating. Matt took measurements of the project and chatted with us about ideas. About a week later Matt emailed us 3D graphic of what the new bathroom would look like with an estimate for the project. We had spoken to other contractors who would only give us a 3D graphic after we signed a contract with them. Matt setup a meeting to come talk with us before we signed our contract. He answered all our questions and we felt comfortable signing with Legacy to do our project.

About a month or so later our project began. Matt and his crew showed up on time to begin the project. They looked professional in their matching trailers and trucks! They immediately began with demo. During the demo, Matt’s supplier let him know one of our ideas was on 3 week back order! Matt immediately pivoted and instead of waiting 3 weeks asked if we would like to start on an attic project we mentioned. We moved to that and Matt and the team completed that project while we waited. Once we were close to the item coming in they shifted focus back to the bath. They completed the bath work until they hit another delay because of the tile supplier. During the work on the bathroom we discovered a water issue in our sunroom. I asked Matt to look at it. He told me the issue and gave me an estimate. So when the tile delayed I asked him about changing gears and putting work in on the sunroom. The next day they began work on the sunroom and completed that project in a few days. It was an unexpected upgrade and looks beautiful! Now back to the bathroom..when the tile was available they finished up the projected. And does it ever look beautiful! Matt came and did a walk thru with me after the work was completed. He addressed any concerns I had and tailored our bathroom to us. I couldn’t be happier with the work or the decision to go with Legacy!

Now for the GREAT (I bet you were expecting “the bad” - but there was really none) - their CHARACTER and TEAM. Matt was always HONEST and UP FRONT with us through out the project. He was more interested in his customers than his bottom line. He always asked my opinion when something needed to change. He also gave me a bunch of great ideas throughout the project. When there was an issue Matt took ownership and made it right, never trying to blame anything else. Second was his team (company employees and subcontractors) who were of the highest caliber. Billy and JD (Legacy employees) were awesome. They were kind and friendly with me and my family. My whole family felt comfortable with them in our home for the 3 weeks they were working on our projects. His subcontractors were also professional and did a fantastic job. I can’t tell you the value I put on being able to trust the guys working in your home. They really earned our trust! For our future projects we will be going with LEGACY!!!

Matt and his team did an excellent job with our home remodel. He was very professional, always finding the best solution to any issues. We had him remodel both of our bathrooms, including replacement of our toilets as well as installing new plumbing fixtures throughout the house. He installed all new light fixtures throughout the house and added recessed lighting to our kitchen. He also replaced a section of our stamped concrete, replaced a section of vinyl fencing and stabilized an entry way to our porch. I will add that he had a company come look at our roof for some potential repair work, which we ended up using to replace our entire roof. No matter what your remodel needs may be reach out to him. He will be prompt, honest and provide quality work.

Matt and his team came in an renovated our ugly, outdated 1960’s bathroom and the final result was better than we could’ve imagined! He kept us up to date on all the changes and obstacles he faced and went above and beyond to even repair previous remodel problems. Truly fantastic guys and we 110% recommend!!

Matt and his company have worked on several projects at multiple homes for me. Their work is excellent and I agree with all the positive comments left in other reviews. The point I want to emphasize is how reassuring it is to work with someone so honest and professional. I rest assured knowing the estimate will be fair, the work will be top notch, and the entire process will run smoothly. I know I don’t have to call anyone else, that holds incredible value for me. I recommend Legacy without hesitation.

Matt took our idea to make an office by enclosing an open dining area and it turned out wonderfully. It looks like the room was built with the house and we couldn't be more happy with it. Matt and his team were on time, communicative, and did excellent work.

Kudos to Matt Bryant and his team at Legacy Remodeling! Matt did a great job of helping nail down a design to remodel my very dark and dreary existing kitchen, turning it into a bright and cheerful space. Matt provided graphics that helped me understand what the final design would look like. He also provided resources to help with tile selection. I wanted to keep some elements of the existing kitchen (to save money), and Matt worked within that framework, adding the newly selected cabinets, lighting, and tiles. The result is just wonderful!

Matt, Billy, and the electricians coordinated their work, and were very professional. They cleaned up at the end of each day, and were respectful of my time and property. This was a great experience, and I look forward to working with them again.

We had a leaky roof. I contacted Matt and he got ahold of his roofer and they both came out and got the job done quickly and efficiently! We have used Legacy Remodeling for a complete bathroom remodel as well. They are very friendly and professional. They take the time to listen to your needs and communicate with you very well.
