They repeatedly failed to meet their scheduled appointments, resulting in multiple reschedulings before they eventually arrived at around 6pm for a 2pm appointment on November 14, 2023. Upon their late arrival, it was discovered they lacked the necessary wiring for the job, necessitating a trip to purchase additional supplies. The majority of the work was completed after 11pm, at which point it was revealed that they were missing a ground rod, essential for finishing the job. The contractors assured they would return at their earliest convenience to install the ground rod, which did not require my presence at home, and requested full payment for the whole job. I paid, trusting in their word. However, over four months have passed since that date, and my attempts to contact them have been futile, leaving the job incomplete.

Victor saved me from a electrical service call repair that I had been waiting on for a week. When I found him under a awesome review because waiting was no longer a option. I called him, he came the next day. His work was quick and efficient and professional. And he was reasonable in rate. Which made me wish I'd found him sooner. This company deserves zero stars. I hired them to install an outlet in a cabinet under a sink in my kitchen. They quoted $350 and that sounded high but I needed the job to be done. There was existing wiring with nothing else on the circuit. The owner of the company and another electrician finished the job in 30 min. After they left I talked to my father and he said that they did the job incorrectly. What they installed was a standard outlet and there needed to be a GFCI outlet because of the water close by. I contacted the company and the receptionist called me back after speaking to the owner. The owner told her that a GFCI outlet wasn’t required. I called the town and they said the electrical code requires a GFCI with in 6 feet from a water source. The company said they would come back to change it out because I talked to the town and blew off appointment.

I called and asked for an invoice and what they emailed me didn’t match what I was charged and the amount of sales tax charged and what was quoted on my invoice were both incorrect for the % I should have been charged. This company is a joke. If you do hire them I would strongly suggest getting a permit from your town because you will need someone to check their work and also be able to hold them accountable if what they give you is done incorrectly.

I did have the job fixed by someone else; took less than 15 min so there is no reason a licensed electrician should not have been able to do this correctly in the first place.

We used Angi to find an electrician and Victor from Lawson Power Source came right away and fixed our problem in no time. I strongly recommend them!

I would give 0 stars if possible. Last fall Victor replaced my circuit breaker box after hours. I was very appreciative that he was able to come out at around 8 pm. He told me he would have to come back the next day to finish the job and he would be back around 9a.m. no problem on my end with that. Around 11 am I called to see if he was still coming. No answer. Around 12p.m. I called and he said he was at home Depot and about to leave and would be at my house in about 30 minutes. He showed up about 3 hours later with no explanation. He finished the work. He did have to come back about a week later to re- replace a for of the new breakers that were defective. Beyond that I have no problem with the work performed. He did mention that I would need some outside wiring replaced in the spring. Starting in late June I tried to call but just kept getting VM with a full mailbox. Website request for service went unanswered. A couple of weeks later Victor ( the owner ) called me. I told him about the outside wiring I wanted done and also wanted to have a transfer switch installed. He told me he would be out at 9..m. in 2 days. Of course he never showed up and never called. I wasn't about to call him back and decided to move on . Late that same afternoon I get a call from the office manager wanting to know if I would like to make an appointment. When I told her that I had an appointment for earlier that day and nobody showed up she got defensive and that there was a death in her family recently and that I didn't have an appointment made with her so it more or less didn't matter that I made an appointment with the owner of the company. I am very sympathetic to the loss of a loved one as I know how that is however to use it as an excuse for a lack of common courtesy is inexcusable to me. Showing up 5 hours after a scheduled appointment or not showing up at all without a phone call seems to be the standard business practice.

Within weeks of the initial meeting with Victor and Karen, my bathroom was completely gutted and remodeled. Everyone was friendly and professional. And cleaned up everyday. Excellent job! I will definitely use their services again

Working with Lawson Powers Source LLC was the best decision I made. As a 1st time homebuyer, I was unaware of how quickly my dream home could become challenging. My boiler/furnace needed to be replaced. The were very patient, offered payment services and worked diligently to get the job completed. This was the 1st time I have ever worked with company with so much compassion around helping service the needs of others. They also educated me on expectations within my home and what to be on the look out for and so on. I am so pleased to find contract service providers such as this company with such integrity and quality of work. I look forward to reaching out to them again on future projects. Victor and his additional installer came out to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for an EV charger using Romex 6/3 with a 70ft run and 15ft rise. They were able to address and work through any unanticipated problems (such as the house's framing or a crowded panel). Victor was also very easy to work with and was able to work with me on the price of the project and was the best priced electrician for the install I wanted. Best of all, Victor and the installer were very personable throughout the project and were happy to offer adjustments and improvements to the project without increasing the cost. Great service.

I just moved into a new home in East Hartford. I was finishing up setting up my man cave in garage & a breaker blew. Replaced breaker & nothing. Called Vic over @ LPS & he actually came to me on Saturday night. I had 1 breaker when I should have had 4.He walked me thru &what I needed done & came out to do the job on a Sunday night. The Team at LPS repaired and installed a roof at my home in West Hartford. they were wonderful! Caring, thoughtful and attentive to detail. Lawson Power Source is currently doing a lot of much needed renovation and electrical work in my house and I cannot recommend them enough for anything you need done. They have renovated two bathrooms, installed a new boiler, and done electrical work and other odds and ends while they're here as well. When I was surprised to find water damage 3 months after Hurricane Ida, they addressed that issue too, much to my relief as I would not have known who to call.

Karen and Victor Lawson are truly a blessing to work with. Their team came in to remodel my bath room and they found out I am a TRUE DIED HARD COWBOYS FAN....They cam in and remodel my bathroom the colors of Dallas Cowboy. The team that did the work was very respectful and was eager to start every morning. I did not feel pressure to rush with this project and they made sure to meet my overall needs for this project.

I just like how Karen and Victor call me every night to ask how do we like the progress each day. I have another company to to asset the bathroom but they did not offer anything that The Lawson company. I lover their work so much they are working on Kitchen and Remodeling my upstairs hallway. Will installing the bathroom they notice leaking in the kitchen. It was detective Victor found out there was a hole in the roof.

I HIGHLY recommend Lawson Power Source! We decided to drain our in-ground pool to change the pool light that was out for a few years. As we were starting to change it, we realized pretty quickly we needed to change the entire housing of the light as it completely rusted and would not be able to go back into the wall.

We contacted Lawson Power Source in a complete panic! Not only were they out to check it out within 24 hours of the phone call, but ordered the part right away and we had a new light installed and our pool was able to be filled within just a few days. The light looked and operated better than when we initially moved to our home.

I highly recommend Lawson Power! Victor and his team are extremely professional, have competitive prices, and are quick to respond to enquiries. I’ve actually had the chance to use them twice. Once for electrical work and once for some plumbing work.

There was some left over knob and tube in our house that we wanted gone, we also wanted an electrical panel update, GFCI plugs installed, and outdoor plugs installed…so a pretty significant job. We got 3 quotes but we felt most comfortable with Victor at Lawson Power; we received his quote quickly and it was very competitive ! We began work less than a week after our deposit. The actual job took about 2.5 days but It wasn’t a noisy process and there wasn’t much disruption (I work from home so obviously I need power)- maybe an hour of not having power. He also pulled all the permits and left the job site very neat.

The second time was for some plumbing work at a rental property. The plumbing problems were on-going, I’d probably spent well over $1k having people come out, diagnose, and a. provide a very temporary fix, or b. not be able to fix it at all (and I’m stuck paying for a diagnostic visit only). Remembering that Lawson Power also does plumbing I called, and Victor came out and gave me a quote. He was honest about the scope of what needed to be done, and the quote was reasonable. That job took about a day and now, the drains are running freely! The best part is he warranties his work for a year; so while I’m confident that the job was done correctly I have some peace of mind if I run into any issues in the next 12 months.
