Lakota Construction

I used Lakota Construction to repair wallboard and replace carpeting after a water leak. I was very impressed with the work accomplished and opted to then further contract them to replace carpeting in three bathrooms with tile. That work was also accomplished in an outstanding manner. I would have given this review 5 stars except for the fact that scheduling workmen to complete the work was somewhat erratic and took longer than I was led to believe it would.

We were very satisfied with Lakota construction throughout the entire restoration process. Would readily contract with them again and highly recommend Lakota.

On may 10th, 2023 our house was struck by large hail, destroying the roofs of our house, sidings, etc. On june 10th, 2023 our house was severely struck by lightning, it blew a large hole in the roof and the bolt continued into the house and and blew down the ceilings, blew out the inside walls, and destroyed all the electrical in the house, outlets, lights. fans, all the appliances, hvac systems. etc. etc. We were devastated, and were not able to live in the house, so we had to move in with relatives. We were now burdened with the task of finding a construction company to put the house back together. We interviewed three companies and out of the three the most professional was Lakota Construction, they took photos, videos etc, and we felt they had the manpower to due the job and we were right. They told us what they were going to do, step by step and they would let us know what workers were coming and when and they kept their word, in a matter of days the house was down to the studs, the workers were not only very professional and courteous, but they were trustworthy and that meant alot to us, there were workers coming and going, sometimes 8 or more at a time. Lakota worked well with our insurance company and that took a load off out mines. We were told that this job would take at least a year or more before we could move back in but Lakota assured us it wouldn't take that long and they were right, we were back in the house by thanksgiving week. I would like to give a shout out to some of the persons that made this possible, Erik, Jesse, Alfredo, louis, Colin, Uri, Mitch and Crystal and all the other workers, the roofers, the sheet rockers, the painters, electricians, and i could go on and on, but these were all workers that Lakota construction uses all the time and they are great and most of all they know what they are doing. I would highly recommend Lakota Construction to anyone, Erikl and his team will not disappoint.

We had mold in our ceiling. Lakota tore out the ceiling, fixed the affected area and replaced it all in 2 days. It was like they were never there. Looks great!

Typically, suffering storm damage is a very stressful event. Lakota made the entire process much more manageable than I've heard others have gone through. From start to finish, a smooth, professional experience, leaving our home better than before the hail damage! Highly recommend!!
