I would give the 4.5. We have an old house needing remodeling of upstairs bathroom, hallway and 1 bedroom. The walls were not plumb and floors were uneven 2" or more. Ryan did wonderful work! He was a miracle worker, giving great advice, was prompt, cleaned up every time and a nice guy. The floors and walls are so good. Look at the pictures after the work from the website. A few times there was poor communication ie the painter said he would return on a Monday but didn't show without calling. Learned he went to give quote on another project. I could have done other things than sit and wait. The painter knows how to paint though. Also, when the contracted plumber installed the new shower head, sludge came out and stained the new caulking. Neither the plumber nor Kellington did nothing to remedy this other than giving advice on how to clean the grout. Nothing cleaned it off. It remains stained! Every time I go into the shower, I'm disappointed. Makes me sick. The cost was over estimate but I assume every contractor low balls a bit. I would definitely recommend this contractor. I would advise to not interrupt them because they record hours of work per day.

Great customer service and hard workers! The work inside and outside of our house was done well and efficiently. We will use this company again and encourage others to use them as well.

I was doing a chimney rip and replace and discovered that I had very bad rot on the outer framing of the fireplace. I called Kellington restorations and they were over to look at the job the very next day. After talking with Chuck Kellington, the owner, I hired them on the spot. And I am glad that I did. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and just great people! I would also like to thank Chad and Ryan for all of their hard work, knowledge and friendliness. When the next construction job comes up I know who to call, Kellington Remodeling and Restoration!

We hired them to install French doors and a header in our new build to shut off an office. Chuck was extremely responsive, he called to update me on time frame multiple times (I was never left hanging wondering if they forgot about me), and they showed up when they said they would. Each individual who came to the house (carpenter, dry waller) texted me to let me know what time they would be arriving etc, I was always able to get in contact with whoever was supposed to be at the house that day. They were kind, professional, and got everything completed ahead of schedule. My biggest praise is that everyone at kellington has excellent communication skills unlike most other contractors! That on top of them being half of what other companies quoted me. If we ever finish our basement we will be hiring kellington and will recommend them to friends and family.

Our simple deck resurface project morphed into a wood rot repair and deck foundation code modification. We highly recommend these attention to detail guys. Our home was put back together, making certain it would stand the test of time and never see rot from water infiltration again. Communication, organization and attention to the little details are what these men do so well. Don't hesitate to give Kellington a call! Sure glad we did!

We used Kellington Remodeling & Restoration to install our new front entry door and storm door. They arrived on time, and were very professional. We had some rotten boards that were uncovered during demo, which they made an extra trip back to the shop to get the right boards to fix. Their installation was of higher quality than our original builder. They cleaned up prior to leaving. We highly recommend them for your next project! We will use them again!

We returned from a trip to find it raining in the kitchen. Chuck Kellington worked out an estimate for the repairs. After working with us and a recalcitrant insurance adjuster for 6 months the estimate was approved. The repairs were completed in a timely and professional manner. We would use Kellington again.

Complete master bathroom remodel. Great experience from start to finish. This was a complete gut and rebuild of our master bath. Everything was done with great attention to detail and zero disruption to the rest of our house. I would highly recommend them and hope to have them back in the future for more remodeling projects.

They, Chuck, Chad and Ryan Kellington are the best contractors that I have worked with. They have been doing work for us for over 10 years. They repaired our house after storm damage and then rebuilt our house after a fire earlier this year. We have had them work on our commercial property projects as well.

We have found that we are further ahead to have them drive to Wisconsin to work on our cabin than for us to hire local companies.

Their work is of the highest quality, their fees are very fair and their personality is such that I enjoy working alongside of them.

Needed siding repair for quite some time but didn't know who to contact. Certainteed gave me a list of contractors in my area that worked with their siding. I contacted 10 of them and Chuck Kellington was the only one to respond. He gave me a fair price, ordered the materials needed for the repair, and promptly sent out an individual to do the repairs.
Work was completed to our satisfaction.
