I chose Katz Design & Builders, to do a remodel on my kitchen in my house in Mar Vista, CA and i had a lot of not utilized space, so I wanted to redo my kitchen so i can utilize the space better and since i use to day to day was a very important decision to make. After doing my research in remodeling company I decided to go forward with Katz Designers and Builders. Val definitely help us through the whole process and helped me to build my dream kitchen. He did the job flawlessly , and I was amazed by the results. The kitchen look new and more spacious than ever before. I am a first time home buyer, and my realtor brought over Val from Katz Design & Buildes to help me quote my request for repairs from the seller during inspections. I immediately trusted him, so much so that after purchasing the house, I did not get quotes from any other contractors. He seemed reasonable and intelligent, and well spoken on what they needed to do and how it needed to be done.
They did the job as quickly as possible (given the delays throughout the entire construction and supply industries right now), and my final product is gorgeous. They reinforced my hanging wrap-around patio, retiled it, and constructed a wall with a door in the interior. As a young first time buyer, I trusted I was in good hands at all times.
Val is also quite the character. A good energy to have running around your house for a month while the construction is underway lol. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)

I decided to hire Katz Design & Builders after I met with a few contractors regarding remodeling my bathroom in Marina Del Rey Val was actually the last one I met out of all of them, and all I can only say is that I am quite happy I didn't reach a decision before meeting with him.
I expressed exactly what I wanted for my bathroom and how I would like it to look, and I got exactly what I wished for. During the remodeling I was concerned about the mess it would cause to my entire house, but as Val promised when we first met, all the work was done super cleanly and efficiently. The project was done fast and professionally.
I had been given an approximate completion date for the project and the company went past that date by ONE day only and they let me know as that date approached.
