Wil provided an assessment of roof damage and an estimate on the same day that I contacted JS Construction to schedule the appointment. Excellent customer service!

The salesman, Jacob, was very competent and helped explain the process and pricing. He inspected the existing shingles and explained what needs to be done.

Within the same week I called to inquire about replacing my roof, Will from JS Construction came out to do an estimate. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Estimate came in slightly under what we expected, and we had a 1 day install within 3 weeks. The crew were polite, focused on the work, and did a full clean up. We have no complaints whatever, and final cost matched the estimate 100%

The crew got rhe roof completed really quick and it looks great! Jacob was great to work with! He went above and beyond and would definitely recommend him!

Do not use! They will swear you can’t cancel. They will wait a month to reply to emails. Every person you speak to will tell you something different about if the stuff is in or when it will be there or that they have no idea. They are very rude and disrespectful.
They will email you Friday evening and say call me Monday morning if you want to discuss this further but yet I’ve waited at this point 2 days on an email and a month on the first email that I sent again in the 2nd email.
So a lot of money for the run around and to them everything is separate and they won’t tell you they just expect you to know.
So your original price seems cheaper than other places but after they add all the stuff the other companies include it’s more expensive.

Good experience, pretty quick scheduling. Julio and his crew did a good job while working around the weather. Had a little leaking along the chimney flashing and they came back quickly to address the issue and fill in a couple of gaps.

I am very happy with the job the workers did. They were very respectful. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

From our initial outreach the level of professionalism was phenomenal ~ our appointment was set immediately with follow up conversations to confirm time of arrival.

Upon arrival on the day of service, the team assessed the window leak and roof in need of a drip edge based on information given by the home inspector. They discovered the window only needed new caulk, and there was a drip edge in place but not pulled down properly when installed. New caulk and pulling the drip edge in place resolved those flags on the inspection report.

After speaking to the office and sharing that the nature of the service changed, the team did not charge for the visit based on their findings.

I would recommend JS Construction to anyone who needs any work completed on their home ~ they definitely excel in communication , honesty and compassion in working with homeowners to bring quality service. Thank you JS for your heart for community!

Although some scheduling issues in the beginning, the work was done quick and efficient. We has a leak and 2 other spits that needed work. Great work at a great price.

Scheduling was a breeze. Jason showed up a few minutes before we did. He was friendly, professional and was quick to get an estimates.

Showed up same day as when I called. The review and quote process was seamless. Unofficially Quote was given while he was on site. Official quote received via email later that evening. Another couple weeks before the roof repair is to begin.

The roofing crew came in and started right away. The crew leader found the source of the roof leak, took pictures and showed them to me. Took the time to explain what they were going to do. After completing the work he took pictures to compare before and after. He explained they didn’t use all the material and would let the company know. What a pleasant surprise! Honesty goes a long way, especially in the construction business. My father was in construction business for many years and that was his calling card. It’s such a rarity to find that it’s nice to find it’s still around.

John gave us an estimate on a new tin roof. John was very polite, professional and knowledgeable! He answered all my questions and has contacted me a couple times asking if I had any more questions. If (and I'm sure they will be) are as professional and efficient as John, we'll be extremely happy with the results! Thank you John H.!!! Our roof and new gutters with leaf guards are finished and look amazing! Devin and Conner were the gutter installers. Both were so nice, courteous and professional! They arrived on time and got right to work even though it was bitter cold and spitting snow. They were professionals and when done they cleaned up so well you couldn’t tell they weee there other then the beautiful new roof.

The crew was professional and exceptionally fast. We weren't home when the roof was put on but we watched on our cameras. These men KNOW what they are doing. That were done in less than three hours and if we hadn't seen them working on it cameras you would never had known they were they. They cleaned up and disappeared as if magic had installed the roof. Highly recommend

Dwight was great to work with and quick to give me a quote and the price was reasonable as well. The work was done quicker than expected and the install crew did a great job! Very happy with our new carport roof and will definitely use them again when it's time to replace the rest of our roof.

Update: someone called the day after this review was written. They said they would replace the entire roof. They sent a new crew out & replaced the back side of the house. They left all leftover materials laying in the yard & we've not seen or heard from anyone. No call from a manager/owner. I'm not sure why if they only re installed the back & not the front. Still waiting on someone to make this right.

We had a roof put on by JS Construction about 2 months ago. First off, they use subcontractors. That was the first red flag. We knew they weren't installing it correctly, as my husband watched them shoot nails all the way through the shingles because their gun was set too high. A manager came out & turned it down. When they finished, there were ripples & humps all over the roof. The salesman came back out once & sent the same workers out to fix it, claiming the shingles were faulty. They worked on only a small portion & maybe improved it, but did not fix it. It is still by no means near right. So very disappointed in this work we paid a lot of money for. Hopefully they'll make it right. Will update if they do. You can zoom in on the picture & see the ripples all along the roof at every seem in the plywood.

Dwight was very friendly and professional when he came out to give me an estimate for a new roof. Still working on the financing but I will definitely be using this company.

J&S Construction came out and repaired my roof after it sustained wind damage from the terrible storm at the end of September. The two members of their team Adam and Allen where the ones that did the repairs for me. They were very professional and had great skills in their work to preform the repairs on the roof. I would recommend J&S Construction for any of your roofing needs!

I hired JS Construction and Roofing to redo my old shingle roof. Once hired they were at my house within a week! The job was completed within two days and the workers worked from sun up to sun down!
Each time I called for any questions Rebecca was beyond helpful and such a joy to speak with. Chris was so professional and so helpful helping me with all my needs! I have absolutely nothing negative to say because I am beyond satisfied with my new roof and my experience working with JS. Every worker was so great at making sure no messes, especially nails, were left behind. Which to me is a major deal due to have small children and dogs. Every worker was so respectful and continued to make sure I was happy throughout the entire progress. I received a phone call from JS half way throughout the progress to make sure I was happy with how it was all going so far. Which means so much because it proves they genuinely care! I would highly recommend JS Construction and Roofing! Thank you so much for making my house look brand new again!

Very prompt when doing an estimate. Work was done but crew had to come back and redo part of the roof. I would not use this company again as they sub contract work out to other companies , and I did not care for that.

They are great company to deal with. They told me I was 2 weeks out. 3 Days Later they're at my house. I'd recommend them to anyone thank you for the great service.

After hurricane Helene, JS Construction opted to remain in their local community in lieu of heading south into the disaster zone. I was in need of a new roof after the storm and JS was on site with materials within a week. The crew of workers were respectful and worked like mad to reroof both my house and detached garage within a single day. The work area was cleaned up and all debris left the site on the same day as the roofing work. Highly recommend.

John filled in for Dwight and was very prompt in getting out to see a repair situation. Beyond that he reviewed and reissued bids for our roof replacement. Good folks.

JS Construction Roofing is a top-notch team of people. They did a great job of re-roofing my entire house. I had a special order shingle color and they received it much sooner than expected, so were able to start the job much more quickly. Their crew pulled ivy and overhanging branches that had grown into my old roof - they did a good job there, as well. They have different team members that perform in different areas, so I was able to contact them (sometimes even after hours) and leave messages and get replies in a timely manner. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent team of roofers and associates. Thanks so much everyone!

We recently had a very good experience having our roof replaced by JS Construction. We especially appreciated and enjoyed working with Will Munk. He is friendly, honest and gave us an accurate estimated of cost. He answered all of our questions, was open to our concerns and suggestions, helped obtain the shingle color (that has enhanced our house appearance), and was here from the beginning until the completion of the final inspection. We highly recommend JS Construction for roofing and will use them again when it is time to replace the garage's roof.

They came out and looked at our project and gave estimate in very timely manner, very nice and informative, however after we decided to purchase our own materials to save money they would not return our calls or emails , so we had no choice but to find someone else

I've heard that Chris Cole is now employed with this company. Buyer beware. He was formerly with Design 1 group. They have scammed millions of dollars from customers by selling solar panels that don't work. They got us for $48,000 & never finished the project then closed the business down.

J.S. Construction did my roof and gutters at my bungalow in Abingdon. They were professional. The team were hard-working and did an excellent job. Cleaned up very well afterwards. Would highly recommend them.

I seen the JS advertisement on Facebook, and actually seen one of their trucks in my Russell County area. I submitted an inquiry via Facebook, and got a super quick response from JS, and very quick estimate! JS is super on this set up and scheduling! The time line was understandably slow from the quote to the actual work being done, probably 4-5 weeks, but they were super polite on letting me know I was on the list for work. When the roof repair was complete, my property was left perfect on clean up and the repair looks great, and I'm hopeful it will be the solution to my leak on my metal roof, so far so good! Thanks JS

JS Construction’s roof installation crew did a great installing our new, metal roof. I was especially pleased with the performance of the job foreman, Tito. I observed his effective leadership of his staff. I noted that he worked as hard on the job as any of his workers. In addition to his technical skills, his people skills were noteworthy. He is truly an asset to JS Construction. Also noteworthy was Dwight’s performance as the company’s roofing consultant. He was instrumental in helping us make roofing decisions. If you need roofing work done I recommend JS Construction.

The two gentlemen that showed up to give the estimate were very professional and helpful, but after that I haven't had any luck. I can't get anyone to call me back or give me information regarding them coming back to do said job.

3+ months later, and I'm still waiting for work to be done after they showed up with the wrong ladder, which resulted in them saying they would have to reschedule and come back later.

They always say "We'll call you back" but then they never do. Not sure what the issue is, but communication is paramount to getting things done.
