I’ll begin my review with what I believe is most important to me when there are professionals in your home with whom you have not yet met. Being able to trust who you are working with, feeling comfortable with them being in your home, and excellent communication are key! Joseph Hicks Home Improvement delivered that and so much more. They helped us with our vision from start to finish on our bathroom remodel. All awhile ensuring that our preferences and style choices were met. We received guidance through their decades of experience and were beyond happy with the finished bathroom. Our bathroom is stunning! From the tile work, to the clean grout lines, they made sure to pay attention to detail and put pride in their work. We had a great time with them through the whole process. Lastly, I want to mention that this great team also takes the time to make sure they stay within your budget! Which was also very important to us! We 100% will be calling them for our next remodel and so much more!

I have nothing but good(great) things to say about Joe Hicks Home Improvement. We hired him to extend our deck around the other side of the house and add in a pergola.
From the start Joe was professional, detail oriented and timely. When he presented the bid, he had a computer drawing of the design along with a full matériels list…detailed down to the exact number of screws. His bid was more competitive than other bids we received. More importantly, he was just the most professional and respectful. These days it’s nearly impossible to find someone to call you back, let alone show up on time and do the work they promised. Joe always answered my calls and completed all of his work when he said he would.
Lastly, he is a perfectionist. I promise you, he will not settle for mediocre. He knows his reputation on the line so everything he does is nearly perfect.
You would be a fool to hire anyone else.

I used Joe to perform a major remodel of our master bathroom in late 2023. I interviewed some others, but after speaking with Joe and checking with some past customers we I decided that Joe was the person for us.
A big positive was his knowledge and craft skill that would be required to remodel our bathroom without using too many subs. Joe and his skilled employee performed all the demolition, tile work, plumbing, painting, ruff in carpentry, finish carpentry was a big positive for me. By not using a large amount of sub this cuts down on the finger pointing if something goes wrong and speeds up the delivery date. In speaking with Joe before we started I told him that quality came first and he did not disappoint.
Before the work started Joe protected all of our hard wood floor and sealed off our bedroom from the construction area with a heavy sheet plastic with a nice zipper so we could still access our bedroom every night and he kept the area as clean as possible during the process.
But I still would vacuum ever night just to remove what dust there was and you will have too, but he is very clean and tries hard to minimize the dirt and dust from construction and he hauls of all the construction debris from the job site.
Another good quality was once he started the job he was on site every morning to get it done and we talked about the schedule before he stated and he said 7 to 8 weeks and he was done in 7.5 weeks and this included two big holidays in Nov. and Dec.
No stopping and starting of the job like so many marginal contractors like to do and you may go days without hearing or seeing from some contractors and that's a non starter with me and his communication was very good with me which is crucial in business, so make sure you discuss this when you're interviewing and following up with past clints of contractors. When it was all said and done we were over budget, but that was because of us as we decided to make some changes as we opened up the bathroom and decide to change of few things and added some work to the scope of the project.
When you start a remodeling project there are going to be lost of decisions that will have to be made and don't try to make them by yourself. Ask Joe because he does this all the time and he is great with colors, textures, pluming hardware ideas and much more so just ask him for some assistance, because that's what we did.
In short I recommend Joe and I plan on using him some more in 2024 and further into the future and I wish I could post a few pictures but for what ever reason the system would not upload them and our bathroom is beautiful now.

Joe is awesome! He has performed work on my home on numerous occasions to include replacing the lighting fixtures throughout my home, fixing a leak under the kitchen sink and replacing the existing flooring, and installing a doggie door that involved cutting walls while taking pre- cautions to not run into any electrical lines. Joe is the ultimate prompt, punctual professional always taking the time to analyze and provide constructive feedback on all potential projects. I trust Joe with ALL my home refurbishing needs.

In my time, I have tried many different contractors and handyman services. But Joe Hicks as a cut above all that.
He was highly recommended by someone who is extremely particular and she was absolutely right.
