I required a new roof due to a recent major hail storm. Mike with Johnson Construction educated me on what needed to be accomplished and worked directly with my insurance company adjuster every step of the way. I live in a townhome that is attached with three other townhomes. He coordinated with all of us (we all had separate adjusters) to have our roofs installed at the same time. This is the 2nd time we've had to replace our roof due to hail in the past 10 years, but hopefully the last with the Euroshield roof installed by Johnson Construction. The roof carries a 50 year warranty against hail impact. Both Adam and his crew were great to work with and careful about going around and picking up debris after the job was completed. I heard about Johnson Construction from a friend who used them and would be happy to refer them to anyone else looking for a hail-proof roof.

No follow up - As a previous customer who had their roof done 6 years ago. I’ve been trying to get someone to come out and look at my roof for 3 months now. 7 calls, I’ve talked to multiple people, and yet still no one has come out to check the roof. I’ve been promised multiple times someone would call and set an appointment but day after day, week after week… silence. So here I am.

Hail Proof Roof. Johnson Roofing just recently completed my (increased) hail resistant roof, and it looks great. Adam was the team lead for my project, and he assisted me from beginning to end throughout the insurance process, and much like "The Strong Arm" helped get every penny possible. My product is Euroshield, and Adam referred me to a satisfied 4 year customer who could attest to how well it resisted hail damage. I am confident it will last for years. It is worth the additional cost to avoid almost annual standard shingle roof replacement.

Adam Amstutz was our contact with Johnson Roofing and we have been really impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. He came by in a rain storm and went on the roof just to make sure they had delivered the correct shingles, which they hadn't. He got that taken care of and got us back in the schedule quickly. He's excellent at explaining things we don't understand and walked us through the whole process.

First of all, hats off to Adam Amstutz, Project manager for Johnson Construction. He was absolutely amazing. We originally called because we had roof damage. Adam came out immediately and did a full inspection. Then he went over and beyond to get our insurance company to see that the roof was damaged. Unfortunately our insurance company only wanted to replace a few of the broken cement tiles. Adam found out that our original roofing tiles were no longer manufactured and a substitute tile was not available. Our insurance company said we can get used tiles at a roofing boneyard. Adam knew that city code would not allow used tiles to be installed. he contacted the city of Centennial several time to get the to provide written letter stating that per code that our roof must use only new cement tiles. Since our tiles were no longer manufactured, our insurance company agreed with the adjuster (through Adam's constant follow-up) to pay to replace the entire roof. We scheduled the job. and his team showed up on time and worked in 100 degree temperatures for 12 straight days, even over the entire Labor Day holiday. His crew is amazing. We installed a stone coated steel roofing shingle that looks terrific and has a very long warranty. Adam was at the job site every day to check with his crew on the progress of the job. He was always available via phone & text. Great communicator. I would absolutely recommend Adam Amstutz & Johnson Construction for any of your roofing needs.

Johnson Roofing & Restoration LLC | Denver Hail Proof Roofing. Did a great job! Replaced our leaking 100-year old red clay tile roof with a modern, "cool roof" design red concrete tile roof. Adam Amstutz handled it all very professionally, from initial visit and bid, to the final completion, and removal of all materials. Adam found some good subcontrators to add a skylight, do the gutters and to do the actual cutting and placing of the tiles. And he found extra crew to do some minor repairs on the soffit. He even visited a couple of extra times when the job was done, to use a magnet to remove old nails from the lawn, and also to make some minor repairs. And he handled the permit and inspections too! Fsntastic job!

Our HOA suffered severe hail damage in 2018. Several months ago,(3 years later) I spotted a dried wet spot on a closet ceiling. I looked in the crawl space in the area where the wet spot was at and saw that the ductwork to a bathroom fan was disconnected from the roof vent thereby allowing rain and snow to come in. No one had been in the crawl space since I bought the house 9yrs ago. I contacted our HOA manager and he contacted Jim at Johnson Roofing. Jim called me and an appointment was made to have the disconnected duct checked. A representative named Joe came out and observed the problem and fixed it. He said he would be back to check the sealing of the vent on the roof. Thankyou Jim & Joe!!! Mike Mahin has been great to work with! He is responsive and truly cares about the result and your satisfaction. Mike's main job was the roof replacement, but he is coordinating the windows, gutters and paint repairs as well after the hail damage. Mike made sure to get us a great price and still a quality product. He has come out right away anytime we have had questions or concerns. We would definitely work with him again!

At the time Johnson Roofing replaced my roof last year, I had two home projects going on. Johnson was SO much easier to deal with than the other company! I was pretty sure I wanted a Euroshield roof but was concerned about the smell, because we have an evaporative cooler that draws air from the roof. Mike Mahin provided references from past customers who were in exactly the same situation, which was very helpful, and he brought actual samples of the roofing material so I could see what the smell was like as well as choose our roof color. (It turned out the smell was no problem -- we noticed it only briefly on a few hot days shortly after the late-summer installation, and only from the outside of the house.) Mike was super-responsive to my messages before, during, and after the work. The workers were professional, worked quickly and with attention to quality and put on a great-looking roof, and it wasn't nearly as expensive as I'd thought a top-tier (Vermont Slate HP) recycled-rubber roof would be -- really not much more than asphalt shingles -- and after replacing two asphalt roofs in two years due to hail damage, I have high hopes this will last better through rough weather.

There were a couple of hitches, but Johnson took responsibility and made it right: The roofers accidentally damaged part of my evaporative cooler. When I noticed, Mike said if I had a company I'd like to have do the repair work (I did), he would pay, and he did pay promptly, with zero fuss about the price. Mike also worked with a gutter contractor who did very nice work. When a downspout leaked after the roof was finished, the contractor came out to take a look, and found the problem was some roofing debris (nails) clogging the top of the downspout. Oops! But he removed them and did not charge me for the visit.

Also, Johnson was flexible about making the roofing work in sync with the other work we had going on, which was a full siding replacement. It didn't always work out in the easiest way for Johnson, but Mike took it in stride and made it work anyway. I couldn't ask for a better project manager.

If we need roofing services in the future, I would definitely call Johnson again.

It has been just a little over a year since Johnson completed our roofing project and we could not be happier. We continue to receive complements on the overall appearance of the Euroshield Vermont Slate hail proof roof. We have even had people from other states stop by just to talk about the roof on our house.

As a licensed architect, I was looking for an attractive, cost effective, alternative to the HOA approved asphalt shingle. Our property had received over 80 thousand dollars in roofing damage from three separate hail storms over 6 short years. Another asphalt roof replacement was not an option that I was willing to consider. Last winter we were looking at replacing our roof after years of wind, snow, and hail storms. It seemed that every few years our entire sub-division was getting new roofs. With annual hail, snow, and wind storms we knew we needed a roof that would stand up to Colorado’s tough weather. Doing a lot of research, we found one roof that presented multiple benefits for our home. We wanted something that would resist the hail, wind, endure the snow, and provide a good solid look.

After a lot of research, we chose Johnson Roofing and Restoration.

Co-Owner Mike Mahin came to our home and provided us with information on the various roofing they worked with, provided samples to review, and gave us a complete explanation of how all the work would be completed. Being a general contractor, Mike explained that Johnson Roofing and Restoration could also take care to provide the extra work we needed to complete our home for gutters, additional attic insulation, and painting.

Unlike other contractors that we have dealt with, Mike was not pushy and gave us time to review their product by providing examples of work they had completed. After looking at over 15 different work sites where Johnson Roofing and Restoration had completed work, we phoned Mike to let him know what specifically we wanted. He provided an estimate quickly and it was detailed and was very close to what we anticipated the costs to be for all we had requested to be completed.

Mike worked with our insurance company to assure that we got the best claim return for the damage that had been done to our home. We really appreciated that extra effort on Mike’s part in doing this as he was able to show the insurance company additional hidden damage that the adjuster could not see at the time of inspection. This added up to a significant supplement to our loss check from the insurance company.

From the crew that did the delivery of materials all the way through to the painters that finished up the job, we could not be more satisfied. The materials were delivered without any issues and the crew that came to remove the old roofing and gutters were neat, tidy and did a great job in cleaning up afterward.

On the first day, Mike and his Production Manager Michael Anthony were on-site to explain things to us and answer questions. The roofing installation crew took care to install the roof properly Michael answered any questions we had and made sure that everything was finished and that our yard and driveway were neat and tidy when they finished up.

The crew that did the gutter work, insulation, and the painting were all top notch and took the extra time to explain things to us as they did the work. Each crew left the worksite without any evidence that they were ever there, except for the great job they did in completing their work, which has made our home look great! Mike Mahin stopped by on the last day to make sure all was well and to our satisfaction.

After the hail, snow and wind storms from this last year, the roof performed very well and left us worry free. We chose EUROSHIELD'S thicker Ranchland Shake shingle. It provided all that we wanted for protection, comes with a 50 - year warranty, a class 4 roof that is guaranteed to 2-inch hail for 20 years and the product is recyclable, unlike many other roofing materials.

After realizing my 70+ year old metal tile roof on my 100 year old home would have to be replaced I spent a lot of time looking for a product that would hold up as well as my old roof had. I also wanted something that was unique, not just another cookie cuter asphalt roof. We had a lot of roofers come and try to sell us different things before we met Adam Amstutz from Johnson Roofing & Restoration. Although he had never seen a roof like mine (there are only about a dozen left in Colorado Springs) he quickly understood the historic nature of it and why I wanted to be careful about what I put back on. He had a beautiful product called F-WAVE in a black scolloped design. It looked like slate. He worked with us to have his crew carefully remove the old tin tiles and save what we could to use elsewhere. His crew was great. Came on time and worked super hard. The end result is that the roof looks like it has always been on my 100 year old craftsman home. We are extremely happy with the product and the Johnson Roofing. We are also grateful to Adam for listening to us.

These guys are offering installation of a superior product - Euroshield roof shingles - (to protect from the hail storms we have here) and I am grateful that they were able to travel quite a distance to my location to provide this service for me. Good estimates, worked with my insurance, and showed up when they said they would and did what they said they'd do. As a hands-on homeowner Mike answered all my questions and seemed very knowledgeable about the roofing business and materials. Terrible experience from start to finish. One thing after another. Not knowledgeable of process, incompetent, poor communication, poor workmanship, damages and poor repairs of work. Third time getting a roof repaired in my life and never experienced so many issues before. Very disappointing!

I had a Euroshield roof installed by Johnson Construction (JC), about a year ago. (I waited this long to provide a review as I wanted to see how everything held up and if I needed any follow-up). I became aware of the product after experiencing two significant hail storms over a recent two year period that each time destroyed my Owens Corning "hail resistant class 4" asphalt shingles. After doing some research and finding Euroshield I decided to check it out. When I first got my hands on the Euroshield product and was able to pound on it with a sledge hammer without doing damage, I thought installing this product was a "no brainer". I was even more impressed when I found out the cost difference between the product I was replacing and Euroshield was minimal. It's too bad my insurance company doesn't recognize a "class 5" roofing material as this stuff appears to be indestructible. I can't imagine any hail stone large enough to do damage to this shingle. Maybe hailstones the size of bowling balls but even then the shingle would probably survive and the wooden decking would be destroyed.

Working with Mike and Chase of JC was great. Due to the complexity of my roof I had a couple of follow up issues I wanted addressed and JC resolved them immediately without question. Over the many years I've lived in my home I've dealt with four well known roofing contractors that are still in business. Johnson Construction is without doubt at the top of the list for their quality, integrity and responsiveness. If you need a roof check these guys out. You won't be disappointed.

Miles and his staff, especially Rodolfo, were phenomenal. Very thorough and detailed with their work.
Our garage roof has had issues for years and Miles did a very thorough inspection and analysis of the repair needed. He gave us a fair estimate and stuck to it even when the repair took longer than expected.
When they lifted the roof up, they found that it was not properly sealed when the home was built and the warranty repair was also not done properly. Miles and his company finally took care of the issue. They treated us with respect and integrity through the whole process. We were very impressed with their service and we highly recommend them.

It was installed 2019. Well we had a nice hailstorm and the roof is just fine. This 2023 hailstorm was no problem for the roof!

We have had issues with prompt warranty repairs. Main repair re sealing nail heads that have cracked or gone away. It has caused possible water leak in ceiling took 4 months for someone to get on roof and not address the main issue still waiting on a fix.

After a recent hail that left my roof completely damaged, I looked up reviews on Google and selected a couple of companies to evaluate. While the other companies only offered a quote or even a walkthrough only after I’d signed an agreement with them, Johnson Construction Company provided me all the necessary information rightaway without asking me for any signatures. I was fortunate enough to work with one of the Managing Partners, Michael J. Mahin. He walked me through the entire process and even offered to upgrade to IR shingles at the same cost (which lowered my insurance costs). He worked with my insurance firm to get me the best coverage. The re-roofing work was done within a single day and the job was clean and perfect! The crew proactively changed a couple of rotten boards on one side of the house and painted them for me. Mike had delivered more than what he had initially promised and the communication was always prompt and positive. He ensured that all work was complete and that all documentation was provided (warranties, inspection tickets, etc) before asking for a single penny. I would highly highly recommend Johnson Construction Company for all your roof works. Ask for Mike and feel free to use my reference!

The level of service was very impressive. Johnson Construction Companies crew and their service is of high quality. Out of all the companies we've worked with Johnson construction company is by far the best. The shingles on our roof were damaged and falling off. They arrived on time and did a replacement of the roof. They even called to check on the roof after a windy day.

I could not be happier with the work done by Johnson Construction. The costumer service was top notch across the board... from the initial phone call to the final walk-thru when the job was completed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very impressed by the attention to detail and quality of work these guys do. I'm extremely picky about everything being leveled and centered and flush but when this crew finished, I couldn't find a thing to complain about. Very professional and got the work done ahead of schedule even after taking extra time to make sure it was done correctly and to my standards. Highly recommended!
